Amazing tutorial! So much detail and so slowly! The rose with the spaces, the ‘what not to do’ would make a great hibiscus!
Wow! Thanks for this video. The tip of loading the toe with white to add contrast between petals is an awesome tip.🥰 The dimension that you achieved was impressive. The buds are stunning. The detailed explanation of brush position and stroke motion was very helpful. The “pulled out” look to the center is one thing I’ve had problems with.
This was SO helpful to follow along and practice. Addressed a lot of my stumbling blocks. Thank you!

Your a very good teacher. I learned a lot from this tutorial. When you said it will look like a glob I laughed because that’s exactly what my rose looks like but your explanation hopefully will help me.
I'm new to face painting and you've been such a great help!!! Did you ever post the dagger video? If not PLEASE do. I have a 3/8 and 1/2 inch and of course haven't tried them yet. Ariel do u do leaves first before u paint the rose? Having a rough time with leaves
In the one stroke pallets, do the individuals one strokes have lids. I would want to take them out and put magnets on them
They do have a thin plastic cover but not a solid lid.

If your rose is a darker color palette, do you still use white on the toe of your brush?
No, not always. If I’m doing a red rose I load the tip with black. You can use this technique with a darker color or even neon paint.
What brand of brush did you used?
It's a face painting shop brush...if you rewatch I believe I name them all specifically.
