Kurt Angle vs Brett Hart absolutely would have been a awesome match.
Match of the eternity

There was no controversial take on Goldberg...

That's what I thought. I didn't hear anything controversial about Goldberg. Clickbait
You obviously didn't listen to it....
@@user-pj2lc8yd6fKurt is a legit Olympic wrestler, he'd fuck Goldberg up as banged up as he is. Goldberg has 0 fighting skill, an all American highschool wrestler would toss him around.

Those "one more match" chants make me sick. Fans are never satisfied, they always think they deserve something
Bret was the best of Alltime so glad I got to spend my childhood watching him at a level nobody will ever top

I would have loved to have seen Angle wrestle Bret. That would have been a classic if they had wrestled when each was good to go.
Perc Angle is unironically the greatest of all time 🔥 YEAH!!! 😂
Prime Bret Hart vs prime Kurt Angle is definitely one of those dream matches
Edit: that clapping for Benoit was super cringe and made me uncomfortable 😬
Came back and got jobbed out to Baron Corbin, sad!
Ya Kurt's ending was pathetic on wwes part..they didn't wanna put Corbin over..they wanted to taint angles legacy
How about a survivor series team of Bret hart, mr, perfect, macho man, Shawn Michaels and I’m not sure who the other is put up there as just pure talent to coincide with them all but man that would be a good in ring combo. Macho man and Shawn Michaels would make a killer tag team and Mr. Perfect and Bret hart would make a killer tag team.
Hurt Ankle vs Nipple H
Bret vs Kurt would have been such an awesome match... When Kurt Angle has nothing but praise and says you are one of the best ever... That should carry some weight.
Dude is soooo funny
That " what the fuck was I talking about?" Cracks me up every time.
Kurt way to technical for Goldberg 😂😂😂😂😂
Sometimes I feel bad for Goldberg, I don’t hate the man as a fan of WCW going back to the 80s all the way until it ended. I did appreciate what he did do for WCW at the time he was there but when I feel bad for him. I start thinking that I get it that when he first came in, they gave him a push before he really knew what he was doing, but at some point once he accepted, this was going to be his career he could’ve had any time decided to get better. I’m sure he could’ve called mini wrestlers and had a talk with them and ask them to help him and because they were in the same company, whether it was WCW or WWE, they probably would’ve worked with him because I’m sure the guys he was in the ring with. Wanted him to be better. At some point once the years are going by it’s kind of on him. But I don’t think he really ever got that much better from 1997 to 2003 I mean that’s more than half a decade. Big show and Kevin Nash were kind of put in similar circumstances because they were too green to go over and too big to be job guys and I know it’s the thing to do to say Kevin never got better, but he did get a lot better. I’m not saying Paul White, or Kevin Nash, where ever Ricky Stebo by any means, no one‘s going to accuse those guys of being, great technical wrestlers but if you go look at their first 25 matches and then go look at their matches after they had been in the business for a few years they did get better. There’s really no excuse for Goldberg not being better other than he thought all he needed to do was go out and do his two moves and that’s it. Which actually kind of stunts the growth of his own screen character.
I met Benoit, Kurt, Bobby Lashley almost 20 years ago. It was one year prior to Benoit's passing. Chris talked to me about the pain of recovering from fights and putting his body through the grinder. He was not mentally in a good place. Bobby was very happy and talkative, but Kurt was very annoyed and always seemed to be in a low simmer that could boil over any second. We all had a good time, but Benoit struggled with demons. I always look back on our time and wish it had clicked for me to see it clearly and say something.
That would have been a Dream
Match. Current wrestlers; when the opportunity for a great match comes please take it!!
That clapping for Benoit 😬
Benoit was a fantastic wrestler I agree with Kurt but those claps made me cringe 😬
Thanks Kurt from Calgary my Son Kyle Really Admires You
Boo Goldberg for ending careers but clap for Benoit who ending lifes.....
Maybe because some people understand that Benoit did what he did because of severe brain damage he had not because thats who he was.
@@TheBeastKaneI mean, he was still apparently mentally competent enough to book flights, wrestle, make phone calls, etc. I'm sure the head injuries played a factor in what Benoit did, but you can't blame everything on the head injuries. The guy obviously had a lot of demons and was probably suffering from a mental illness on top of CTE as well.
Some people like my self see Benoit the wrestler and Benoit who did what he did as a different person. Benoit had CTE and at least depression.
I liked the part where we found out the unpopular opinion on Goldberg.
He was is &4ever will be Bret Hart , Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit my top 3
Ankle Lock vs Sharp Shooter. That of been dope.
Tell em Kurt
Im so happy for Kurt that he thought all those demons and close calls back then, to be honest how he survived ia beyond me.
But it's great seeing him these days in a great place and looking ultra healthy.
I kinda feel sorry for bill, he was given an oppertunity to become rich and successful but lacked good fundimental skills of wrestling to begin with, can anyone really blame him for trying to do his job?
I agree with kurt...back when I was little up-to my tean years watching wwf/wwe....I was obsessed watching Bret wrestled....he was like my hero in the ring when he was champion...
His skills is flawless
Next to Bret I would the next best would be Davy boy smith since the British bulldogs
2:04 - 2:07 - There's Kurt's "CONTROVERSIAL" opinion on Goldberg.
Bret Hart was my favourite in the 90s...then after the emergence of KUrt Angle, was the next one I felt was one of the better in-ring performers and all-round good talker/seller...
Kurt Angle was really good. I would like to have seen him wreathe Bret Hart
RUclips clickbait titles at its finest right here
Kurt is great on the mike
Where's the twist still waiting?😂
Brett Hart just needs to forgive Goldberg at this point Goldberg didn't do it on purpose but it seems people are ok with the scripted matches call for breaking someones ankle in half or nearly permanently destroying someones neck or possibly serving the spine but one kick on accident to the head makes people hate the guy forever
I agree I think Bret needs to just accept this stuff can happen in wrestling and he needs to stop acting like it was done on purpose or with malice or through incompetence, I do not honestly believe Goldberg was malicious or incompetent it’s just one of those things that happens, Taker knocked out Austin at Summerslam 98 and who would ever accuse Taker of being unprofessional or incompetent? Nobody in fact Austin is one of his biggest admirers because he understands shit like that can just happen, in this game and you can’t take it so personally, you’ve just gotta get on with life and accept you entered a dangerous line of work where injuries and accidents are very prone to happening
No way man sorry but the kick was so unsafe he wasnt even looking when he trust his leg. Goldberg is still green to this day and should never be allowed near a wrestling ring again. You could almost call him the legend killer because of all the people he's hurt including taker. Clearly you're a goldberg fan but your opinion and take on this is so wrong yes accidents can and will happen but you put your safety in your opponents hands and goldberg let bret down. The guy is such a clumsy muppet he even ran into the ring post and concussed himself 5 mins into the main event with taker. That is not a good or safe worker thats someone who is dangerous. As for Bret forgiving him, he already has but that doesnt take away the fact it should never of happened.
He didn’t even have full extension, Bret also had his hand up to block it. I’m not saying it couldn’t have still hurt but clearly an accident. Both knew the move was coming and took measures to try to be safe. What about D-Lo breaking Drozs back and paralyzing him? Stop vilifying Goldberg. He was not a great in ring performer and EVERYONE knew that. A 40 year old Bret getting one concussion does not end a career. It’s the 25 concussions before that he seems to conveniently forget about that led to this problem. Bret was great, an absolute legend, but he needs to move on. All he has is bitterness for everyone and it’s sad. Goldberg has even said 10000000 times he didn’t mean to hurt anyone. It’s a contact sport. People get hurt all the time when trying not to. It is what it is.
@@georgen5882 Now you're just lying go back and watch the clip he 100% extends fully. Bret has forgiven him why are you saying he needs to move on when its not even him talking here? Sorry but you're in the minority here he was in the wrong and is very dangerous and should never be allowed to wrestle again.
We’ll thing is he busted Steiners face on a another slip up after that.
Hold up, is he saying that goldberg caused the stroke or was the concussion a separate instance?
Separate. The concussion basically made Bret Hart retire from wrestling.
Super controvertial
I hate that Bret got hurt, but Bill didn’t want to do it nor was it his fault he wasn’t up to standards as a performer, being thrown onto tv and basically getting on the job training and wrestling Bret after only being in the business for 2 years having squash matches the whole time. You don’t hear Austin constantly bitching about his career being cut short mainly from Owen’s botched pile driver, yeah Owen was great but accidents happen whether you’re seasoned or not.
Kind of hard to hold it against a guy who was dropped to his death 2 years later.
AND, Bret Hart kept wrestling AFTER getting concussed in his match against Goldberg, ignoring the doctors advices. Therefore, Bret ended up screwing himself in the end by not taking time to heal, and then, come back.
It was 100% Goldbergs fault. He should've done the bare minimum and gotten more training
@@theatlantean8036he was fasttracked and was too green. An Ultimate Warrior, but with a brain.
@@thelonewolf70x7 Like vince mcmahon said "Brett screwed Brett." He should have listened to Doctors and taken time off to heal from his concussion but he didn't care. He kept wrestling and just blames Goldberg. Like no it's not Goldbergs fault.
Kurt Angle vs Bret Heart at Wrestlmania you know how epic that match would of been
You know, if Ric Flair can have a million retirement matches, then Kurt should be John Cena's final opponent. I don't care if the storyline has an arbitrary way to bring Kurt back but I'd be there watching if the match were to ever happen.
The irony of Kurt Angle calling Bret the best ever is crazy. Kurt was a hundred times better than Bret ever was. Chris Jericho is better than Bret was. Ric Flair was better also. Undertaker is a different style obviously but better. People like hogan, Nash, hall, sting, ddp, etc weren't better actual wrestlers but were far better performers and much more entertaining to watch. I absolutely loved Bret as a kid but I can't pretend he's the best.
Why many wwe stars dont like Goldberg
Maybe he is talking about the best technical wrestlers that why he put the great christ beniot at 2 other over all shawn michaels is the goat and undertaker is no. 2 ❤
click bait, thanks?
Thank you Kurt for giving Benoit the respect he deserves.
You just need to watch their matches to understand why.

Unreal click bait.
Whenever someone has to say "not in a gay way" it means "okay, maybe a little."
And there's nothing wrong with feeling a little gay for Bret "The Hitman" Hart. ❤ 🍆

Poor guy his comprehension is gone
Guys if Kurt’s laughing after an insult. He’s joking around. Learn to take a joke and not be so serious.
Kurt Angle has a big ass head lol
I thought bret was overated and all his matches looked the same and a lot of them were boring. He had little charisma and mic skills plus he was small. If bret was aware of this than maybe he wouldn't be so bitter, everyone is always kissing his ass.
Clickbait.
Goldberg robbed us off a potential match with bret at Mania.

Kurt it wasn't gay until you said "not in a gay way" which then made it gay lol
I havent seen much of bret hart but i liked Chris benoit, and not the gay way, the man way... His theme song/music, his appearance, his aggressive never give up kind of attitude, his moves cross-face and german suplexes. But i felt face-burst was a foolish move and didnt like it.

Not controversial at all
Sting was better and he still does it.
Lol Kurt is stupid?
Why do all WWE wrestlers passively defend Benoit?
Because he was a great wrestler. Nothing wrong with a wrestler complimenting another wrestler's skills. If you're going to criticize, criticize the audience for clapping Benoit. There are stupid people who think he should be in the hall of fame.
Hitler was a vegetarian. Does that mean we should admonish vegetarianism?
Why not?
@@rocketlaunch99yes we should. Not because Hitler was one, but they're annoying AF.
They take roids like he did.
Goldberg would have killed Kurt if they had a match.
he really would like really injury him really bad like he did Bret hart
Kurt would have battered 2-moves Goldilocks, in fake WWE and in real. Kurt was a Olympic Wrestling gold medalist where as Goldy was a fake amateur. If Kurt gave Brock a run for his money, Goldy is not even close.
You Goldy fan girls are too funny.
Chris Benoit was a great technical wrestler but “in-ring performer”? The greatest in ring performers are the Rock and Shawn Michaels
Shawn yes, but The Rock? Wtf. Also, I think Kurt meant technical wrestlers
Wrestling technique is a part of in-ring performance, yes. He's not better than Shawn, but I'd say his in-ring performance was better than The Rock. Although where The Rock lacked in technically impressive moves, he did make up for with his charisma and mic skills.
@@cokeysmurf2436Yes the Rock is practically the perfect wrestler and incredible performer. Watch his match against Goldberg. He was hilarious and carried the whole thing
@@rohitchaojiwell technical wrestling idt is just about super athletic high flying moves or amateur wrestling/grappling. The Rock had plenty of entertaining moves that he could use with any opponent and could work with anyone and make them look good. Always knew his spots or the best way to sell moves
@@Geojr815Honestly, some of the better technical wrestlers I've seen have actually come from Japan ironically. The land of perfection and one-upmanship in that business. The pursuit of perfection and greatness and wanting to impress your elder in Japan is so intense and so real that it seemingly makes those wrestlers have to become better.
Honestly, here in the states we have technical wrestlers as well.
In Shawn Michaels and The Rock indeed was very good technical wrestlers. The Rock had the charism and the crowd and he knew the crowd well so anything he did, he would do with a little extra flair.
I can't believe people as still cheer benoit.
If you can’t separate the private life Benoit from the wrestler and his accomplishments that’s on you. He was still a phenomenal performer in the ring. He also turned out to be a piece of shit human with severe brain issues. Both can be true and it’s sad that he is wiped from wrestling history. OJ Simpson by all appearances killed someone. Does it change the fact that he was an all time great running back? It doesn’t. Piece of shit human, great at one thing.
@@georgen5882I mean, Benoit was great no doubt but it's hard for people to completely separate Benoit the fictional WWE character from Benoit the real person who was a child murderer. Can you honestly say that when you see Benoit put someone in the crossface for example that a part of you doesn't think to yourself "wow, he did that to his wife and young son?" I personally can still enjoy Benoit's matches, but I understand why there are people who can't, and even I feel a little uncomfortable when I watch his old matches and segments.
Well the OJ situation is a little different because while pretty much everyone is in agreement he did that sh't he was technically found not-guilty. And while killing your ex wife and her lover is f'cked up killing your wife and child is next level f'cked up. Get what I'm saying?
Despite enjoying Chris Benoits matches even all the way back in WCW, i would not have mentioned his name after what he did. Crowd cheering Benoits name should all be jailed honestly
Bret sucks
Goldberg hurt everyone
He didn’t though
Don’t tell that to the haters. According to them Goldberg is single handedly responsible for every injury from 1997-2003. He probably worked, what 1000 matches in that span? Probably hurt 2-3 people in total, all by accident. I don’t understand why people are surprised when people get injured and wrestling is their job. None of these guys(at least now)go out there trying to hurt anyone. This isn’t the days of New Jack and shit like that.
Goldberg. The most overrated wrestler.
