I wish they made a prequel to show Jecht's story, his character development in the little we were showed has already been one of the greatest in FF history. I'd pay $100 for that game

Yea honestly I’m far more interested in events that happened before the game. But I do enjoy making what if scenarios so it could potentially ruin them. But better that than a sequel in my opinion

Call it FF X minus one and I'd be sold. Jecht braska and auron on their adventure would be so cool. Maybe even playing as jecht sin later in the end would be cool

Love Jecht so much. Yes he started out a jerk, a glory hog and had a massive ego, but that was the surface he made to hide his inner self. Braska and Auron helped him break out of that shell, show he did have a good man inside.
Jecht being pulled from the preferential life he had was what saved him in the end.

The sad thing about Jecht like with Tidus is that they want to go home. Yet they find out that isn't possible because for one Zanarkand is in ruins and two they're not even real people technically. They're dreams of people who were once living. Representations. What a mind blower to conclude to right? Like how Tidus represents Shuyin, Jecht also represents someone. Most likely Shuyins real father. We don't really know but it is imo that Tidus and Jecht although never had real lives still had the memories of the people they represent. As I commented in the Shuyin video. Tidus is the hero Shuyin could have been. He and many dreams of the fayth are trapped in a moment in time before it got really dark.

Literally just finished an 100% playthrough of FFX and was hungry for more lore. Nice to see this game still gets lots of love by both big and smaller channels.

I’m happy. Despite the game being short in terms of story compared to other series people make lore channels on, there is a lot we can explore. It gets even bigger when we explore other FF games so it’s safe to say I will have content for a while

Are you sure the Jecht Memorial Cup is every year? I thought it was only once per 10 years? Either way, Jecht is an amazing character. I'd definitely buy a prequel where you play as him.

If you've gotten the Fiend Tale ending for the Cactuar in FFX-2's Creature Creator mode, it turns out Jecht encouraged the little guy to become a Blitzball player. Its pretty cute IMO though its likely not canon.

@@Floufi if I remember right it’s out in the sea but not accessible by people and protected/hidden and Sin is the only way back and forth.

@@garywoods8194 Ifrit’s fayth discusses how sin travels back to dream zanarkand to ease their pain. Coincidentally that’s when Jecht touched Sin and ended up in Spira.
Keep in mind that the Sin before Jecht is Lady Yocun’s guardian.

Yes there will be. The next game I plan to cover for the channel is FFXII. In the distant future, I also have plans for covering other worlds on games made by Square Enix. Still looking at potential games atm.

I’ve always said, X-2 should’ve been the adventure of Braska, Auron and Jecht. Instead, they chose to ignore their fans and create a story that no one wanted 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️
