      @@clivecosta-correa2102 He didn't lie to or advise Queen Elizabeth. He explained on Chris Hopper's show that as privy councillor at the time he informs the monarch what parliament has decided and she says approved. There is no debate or conference.

      @@ralalbatross Johnson was the Prime Minister. He informed the monarch of his decision through the Privy Councillor. If you have watched the Hooper Mogg interview it is clear that the protocol was deemed at the time according to the legal advice available to be correct. This was later over ruled by a court. I was replying to the original accusation of lying which was not the case.

    Harriet Harmann did NOT vote, ffs!! The chair only votes in the event of a tied vote by members. There was no tie, so she didn't vote. Moreover, the report says who voted at the end. Her name is NOT mentioned.

    The fact that it took mogg a few sentences to l ie, shows the kind of person he is. People did recuse themselves it was a majority of Tory MP's and all she said was that the crimes Johnson committed were wrong, she did not say anything about him personally. So unless Moggins thinks judges should recuse themselves if they think the crime being discussed is wrong. He should pipe down.

    Why does he and others think Harriet Harmon as chair of the committee is a major fault? The committee had 4 tories on it who reached this conclusion that johnson misled the house and deserves a 90 day suspension.I doubt they'd accept the verdict even if the committee were all tory including the chair.

    To be fair, i totally changed my mind on boris when the haunted pencil started bringing out precedents set in 1790. I thought that was the most powerful argument that could have explained a) why he partied b) why he lied c) why he didnt correct the record d) why he criticised the comittee and e) why he didnt fight the by-election.
