Thanks for posting. My brother who still lives in Chilliwack tells me some of the roads we use to use for hunting and prospecting don't even exist anymore, total washout.
So glad you guys decided to continue making videos for us. Really appreciate the time you are taking to bring us along and show us that there is still destruction from last year's floods.
Spectacular setting for a family wedding! Beautiful. The extent of the damage in your area is mind-boggling. Logging companies will need deep pockets to make repairs a reality I would imagine. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for posting, lucky you didn't go over the edge on the way back with the mud and the busted steering -- Congrats to your sister and her hubby on their marriage WHAT A BACKGROUND for wedding photos
I've subscribed to your channel ever since you started with the Coquihalla washouts last Nov. You guys put together such great videos & I always look forward to your next videos. You guys should contact Discovery Channel & have them do a TV series on you guys just like Jamie Davis & "Highway Through Hell"! Another Thumbs up for you guys!
Absolutely beautiful scenery! Some of those roads made me nervous watching, but knowing you posted the video gave me comfort knowing you must have made it back home 😊
I watched this with my morning coffee. As someone who spent most of my life in the forests of northern Saskatchewan it brought back many memories of adventures and mishaps we had. Perfect way to start my day. Thank You.
Greetings from S.W. Ontario. That road was the real deal and when we can look up the view is sensational! Always enjoy your videos what's happening after the flooding.
Really enjoyed the drive up the logging road. My parents live close to Mt Rainier and the roads on the hills behind them are always being rearranged. 🙂
Hey buddy glad to see things are getting better and everything. And i was a volunteer first responder that got put on stand by to go help out there. After helping out in Merritt from the fires they had going on an everything so yeah it still shocks me in so many ways to this day
old tie rods just love those rocky creek crossings glad you took it easy and thx for all the gr8 vids subbed and wishing you and yours all the best you're a gd man.
Ya know I think the weather you had for filming shows the area off, accentuating the green almost making them fluorescent. Logging road took a big hit!
Hello from NW Ohio, love the video's guys and the beautiful but dangerous Mountains you venture into. I once had a 1969 FJ40, thing was a tank and plenty of fun.
I was up there on May 27 and made it up to the washed out bridge at 14 km before turning around. That bypass at the 12.4 km washout is one of the steepest I've ever done on my bike. Thanks for showing the grizzly prints, I knew there was one up there but didn't know how big. Cheers
Thanks for the video, good thing the idler arm was not broken when you were 40 km out, going through all those rocks could have damage more. Take care.
Really, really enjoyed this vid! Your air shots of the washouts fantastic, the anticipation of ugh don’t get stuck as rain came down, and the scenery beautiful! That would have been a blast a 2k sled run! 🍻 Congrats to your sister 🥂.
The weather in BC as a whole has been the shits. We still had snow falls into may up north when usually early may all the trees have bloomed and grass up. Everything is a month behind.
Y'all got some of the most beautiful mountains I've seen, I'd love to live there, I live in a valley with the great Susquehanna river about a quarter mile away and mountains north and south of my house but your mountains put mine to shame, has B.B. got the Coq back completely opened or is there still rebuilding going on?
Interesting video. I logged up Sowaqua for a few years back in the late 80's, crossing over to the other side & up another small valley, but I forget exactly where we crossed. Drove a Madill yarder & American loader up & down that road from/to the highway a few times. Every time I drive by there now I think I should take a drive up that road again one of these days.. Also logged up Ladner Creek & Peers Creek in the late 70's, before the highway was there, as well as the spot right beside where the highway is now where the old Tramway used to go up Mt Jarvis. For one setting the yarder was parked right where the highway is. In pre-highway days it was known as 9 Mile. Helped log off the area for the Carolyn Mines tailings pond when it was operational too. The Coq flooding in the fall isn't that unusual, being a short river, but not to that extent. In '77 we were logging the 9 Mile setting and there was a heavy snow up high followed by rain, we got out of there okay but the crew still up Ladner Creek ended up getting stranded until they reopened the logging road, much of which was on old KVR grade. Anyway, thanks for posting & good to see familiar sights again.
Wow you guys are braver men then I! I would have been far to nervous to traverse that river with my 4x4! Thank you for the great content, keep up the great footage and enjoy the peace and quiet. Question -- Can anybody go up the logging roads or do you need a special permit too? I've actually never been out one.
You don’t need a special permit, however if it is an active logging road you will need a VHF radio with the proper frequencies so you can communicate with the loggers to insure safety. That way they know who and where people are on their logging roads.
just curious. you were saying " buckle up for safety". I've heard the opposite when 4x4 ing in areas like that (along cliffs). without belt on, easier to jump out quickly if truck starts to go over. thoughts?
Hey Derek, in our previous videos we showed a bit of my accident that involved us rolling 250 feet down the side of this logging road. If it wasn’t for my seatbelt I wouldn’t be here today bringing you guys these videos. I am a firm believer in seatbelts 👍🏼
@@jeremiahsteberl9418 I 100 percent agree with you. When an accident happens you often don't have time too react let alone get out. I've extracted lots of people during my time with Hope Search and Rescue including you, and I can tell you that the people with out seat belts end up bouncing around the cab and have alot worse injuries than you sustained in your incident.

Fun ride. What a beautiful place for a wedding.
Love the stop sign bash plate! Fred Williams would approve!!!
This is hands down your best video!!!!!
Through all the troubles you still live in paradise.
Amazing vid! Super sketchy 'road'. Loved the stories. Your dog cracked me up. Thanks so much.
Darn scary road with all the washouts. So much damage to many roads. Beautiful wedding party with picturesque venue for pics. Love the doggie shots.

that is one beauty of a truck! unless you've been on a mountain logging road you cannot appreciate the precariousness of it.
Congratulations to the Bride and groom, thanks for showing the logging roads.
Was wondering how you got around the giant chew out of the logging road then realized that mud cut behind it , must have been fun
Beautiful
You guys are the best content on here!!! Thanks for sharing!!☮️😎🎸🎶❤️
Thank you for all the vids. Awesome job! I pass through there about 10x a year. Love the rosary in the truck! 👍🍻👏
Great video
Your dog has such a great personality! Cheers fellas!
Wedding was beautiful and that trip up the logging road was hairy lol that place is beautiful....
Absolutely beautiful scenery! Some of those roads made me nervous watching, but knowing you posted the video gave me comfort knowing you must have made it back home 😊
Great video, guys. Keep posting.
glad to see you guys again nice to see you making more amazing footage for us city dwellers
Thanks for the video. It was awesome guys ! Loved the drone footage and commentary when you were doing the detour route around the slide.
Great 4x4 outing and yes the power of the water is greater then one may think thank you for a excellent adventure 🏆⛏️🤔
Thanks for the update. Congrats to the happy couple!

What a cool place for a wedding! Have you had other weddings at your property? You and your family have a beautiful place. Thank you for the video!
Yes, we’ve had multiple weddings on the property. It’s one of the things we offer as a retreat center.

How did the logger get through that washout?
I'm thinking it was a new wash out . . . The rains keep coming. It was a beautiful morning, but the weather turned and it poured again.
Can you do a video where you show us all of your vehicles

Great video as always.

What about the hunters you dropped off? were they prepared for the bad weather?
