a suggestion, each get one of those off road electric scooters, you can carry those across the washouts. I've been up that road a few times, so beautiful. I'd be willing to come up for a week to work on rebuilding that road, you could even possibly gather a few other volunteers to join in in a working gang of us, each bring some shovels, imagine 50 workers with shovels show up. Just a thought.
Am I crazy? I'd love nothing more than to go up there and spend a week of my holiday making/fixing bridges over those creeks. That'd be 100x more fun than sitting on a beach!
You all are so so lucky to live in such a wonderful beautiful place. I wish so much crap and my health deteriorating so baddly so i could enjoy more natural beaty that is out there. but having 3 heart attacks and a work acident that broke 6 bones in my foot at 64 years of age, changes the ways our body works to what our minds say we can do.
Every time I watch your videos I can’t get over how beautiful it is where you’s live. You’s are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the world 🤘🏼
Everyone will be trying to wreck your paradise If it was me I wouldn’t put any of this on the internet but each to there own I gave a thumbs up awesome video
Sorry you didnt make it all the way to 36KM. But great to see another video from you guys. Everytime I drive on the Coquihalla I wonder what cool spots are in those hills. Its really cool to see your folks neck of woods. Look forward to your next adventure. And maybe bring a skidsteer with you next time ;)
Yeah, the road to my cabin is like that, probably 7 completely washed out bridges 3 other major washouts and trees fallen over the road galore. Me and a buddy slowly made progress doing reroutes and sketchy bridge repairs over the course of two years. We did exactly what you're doing here, one obstacle at a time.
Looks like a great time! would have loved to see you build a ramp and go all duke boys on that second wash out! maybe with the jump car? Either way I think we should hook up and collaborate on something as we are nearby in Peachland BC and have similar channels!
Glad they were able to use Air EMS transport for the person kayaker, they couldn't use Air EMS transport for my daughter Sarah MacDermid and her BF Casey Bussiere when they were dying in Tulameen.
How's the rivers and creeks holding up during this "Atmospheric River" we are having right now? The worst of it is coming tonight into tomorrow morning. Get more footage 👍
Is the road private or who in theory would patch up washed out culverts? PS - Beautiful country! PS2 - Won’t they have to protect the exposed pipeline before winter?
Unfortunately the logging road is the ministry of forestry's department. It only gets worked on when there's a logging contract, road reconstruction is included in the contract.
Hi guys, I'm 67 yrs old,a grandma and even though I was in my house drinking morning coffee,I was with you all the way, thanks for the adventure 🥰🇨🇦
so glad you are making videos again...this was a great adventure....looking forward to many more videos

Stay safe. Going to need a lot of muscle to fix those washouts. Can't wait for the next video. Thanks.
Hope the fire near Hope isn't effecting you all too much. Nice to see some of the back country in that area, never really gotten off the beaten path.
This remind me of Matt's Off Road recovery in Arizona . When he goes to Tennessee. Surreal. Well done.
You are adventurous. God bless all of you and keep you safe.
Why am I tearing up just by watching your videos? It must be that deep longing in my soul to live the way you do!

1:44 typical grouse behavior, they just BEG to be dinner! 😆
Put a small airstrip in there somewhere, so us bush pilot types can land around there in emergencies.

Hey neighbours..Jacki and Neil Unwin here…..we’re hearing that the fire is working it’s way toward Sawaqua and Jessica! Any news?
The fire is by Laidlaw. It’s mainly moving south as it climbs the mountain. Hoping some rain this week will help.
