I'm 44 been to downtown almost every year to watch the state finals. This was the best heavyweight match I've ever seen by far. So entertaining non-stop action especially for the big guys to throw down like that! Even my 14yr old boy talks about it and he was in 4th-5th grade at the time and doesn't wrestle, we dragged him down there. Thanks and much respect! ✊🏼
I was there, and it was great to see both guys pumping their fists and waving to the crowd as they exited the area. It was like being at a Pacers playoff game. The place went nuts!
In the end, refs are first and foremost wrestling fans. The hardest part of officiating a fun match is to remember to officiate and not just watch. It's a great seat!
