Evansville Mater Dei’s 2021 IHSAA State Run

This includes Brody Baumann’s finals match against Robert Major and Gabe Sollars finals match against Drake Buchanan and the receiving of the team championship trophy for Evansville Mater Dei
Mater Dei broke the team points record at the tournament with 112 points. This team also included Evan Seng & Cole Ross with a 5th place finish, Blake Boarman finishes an amazing career with a 3rd place finish after falling short to the top ranked wrestler in the country,Jesse Mendez, and another senior Alec Freeman sadly loses in the finals after and overtime bout and get 2nd to end his career as well. Reed Egli had an very unfortunate draw by getting returning and now 2x State Champ Alex Cottey from Perry Meridian on his friday match.
