- Grammy-winner Shankar Mahadevan, legendary percussionist Taufiq Qureshi, and National Film Awardee Prasoon Joshi along with the over 40 musicians from the iconic Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London come together to create a vibrant symphony of classical Indian tunes with contemporary global melodies.
Watch the recording of this track at the iconic Angel Studios in London, which has hosted memorable TV and film score sessions including The Lion King, Downton Abbey, Moulin Rouge, Adele 21, Pride and Prejudice and Planet Earth, amongst many others.
Hats off to Air India to focus on music, it has the traditional music with western instruments which is a pefect blend to say culture with modern tech. Beautiful music, can't wait to board on the flight and listen.

All said and done. I had the worse experience on my air india flight ..all my patriotic emotions regarding flying in this airline has gone to dust. My flight from London to bombay lasted 11 hours. And from bombay to bangalore took 16 hours. From lost luggage, to missed flights, to clueless bombay Airport crew to lying staff. And this with my family and 2 year old kid. It was one big mess and one big lesson. I cant dare take another air India flight.
At the end what stands for Indians is service. A top notch service, get me that and u will have my ticket.

The fact I like the most about the Advetizing committee of Air India is that they focus on promoting soft culture of India just like the south koreans promoted their K-culture. Promotion of soft culture is very essential for enchancing tourism in a country.

Don’t just promote culture but even provide value for money , which AI charges to its passengers but fails to provide at the end of the journey. Leaving nightmare and bad memories. for passengers . Once again if you want to visit India try any other airline but not Air India. Or you will regret your decision

India is being promoted to be so great, and yet I wonder why we still can’t record a brand track in India? Still need to go to the UK to do that. Colonial hangover? (Note: Hype aside, I’m not sure what’s so great about the final product 💩)
All this is fine but flights from Mumbai and Delhi to Newark, New York and other cities in US still have broken screens, seats and the food sucks. When will all this change. Once the change is done then advertise we all will fly as we all love Air india and the TATA Group the original owners
Do you want them to fix current infrastructure or you expect to have a new infrastructure instead? TATA has ordered 470 planes. It takes time. Just have some patience sir.
Also, Air India needs direct point to point connections to London and New York from Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai etc. rather than cumbersome transfers out of Mumbai and Delhi if it wants to outcompete Emirates, and Qatar…
I was a regular traveller from Raipur to Delhi in the nineties. Hope air India rises to the past glory.

Well Run Airline in the past year !
Would like them to add English Movies & possibly some Vernacular Languages Movies, besides Hindi Movies!
The FRILLS don't makeup the inner core which is the satisfaction of the PASSENGER it's a very uphill task

The food , the customer service , not the NEW UNIFORM by a designer instead SPEND ON THE CUSTOMER that is not even taken into perspective
All these will be taken from the TRAVELLER

The fact that we would have to rely on western musicians, western CEO, western branding company, etc.. itself goes to show that if we present ourselves as we are, we simply wouldn't have any takers. Hard truth is nobody wants anything to do with India, Indians or anything ethnic. Everything needs a coat of western and everything needs to be adapted to western taste to get appreciated, accepted in the world.

I'm not belittling AI, but imagine just doing paint job to bought planes and feeling proud that 'we made it'. If doing just this makes us feel proud, Chinese are building their own aircrafts C919 at home and planning to sell it to the world, how proud should they feel? But they are silent doing their job and let the world know them by their work, isn't that we should aspire for as a competitor of China. We can definitely do better than this. Make the world speak about us

Hope this is not gonna be played inside airline while boarding or while landing. Not at par with other airlines. Boarding and in flight music needs to be soothing. This doesn't meet that at all. Check other airlines music Singapore ANA Oman etc

Why did they have to go to London to record this? They could have done this in India. I think they made a mistake by hiring a western CEO. They should have gone with an Indian CEO.

Air India stands for a pathetic service and after service it’s waste of money to fly in Air India under any circumstances. I prefer to spend 1000$ more but travel with another airline. And I advise others the same
Lagta nahi hai ki ies bhaisab likha podaa hai (not an educated person)agar hai bhi to iska dimag ma India ka against narrative bhola Hua hai, in logo fact ke bari ma Asli Sach Pata hi nahi hai. In logo sirf suit tie pehen ke koi bhi channel ma ajate hai aur kuch bhi bol dete hai. In logo Daria ki panic ma dub ke morning chahiye. Aur in logo ke Baja se Pakistan kabhi tarakki nahi kor payega .
