i love your content man, i was looking for someone with an aesthetic like yours to push me into learning blender, looking forward to your future tutorials :P
It's a 3d Scan Ligier Richier's 'Le Transi de Rene de Chalon' and you can find it for free here : www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/free-obj-mode-scan-ligier-richier/969915
hey :) we just usually export animations as png sequences and then edit it in adobe premiere. but you could also just export an mp4 directly. we might make a video that covers all the important basics of blender later in the year. we have a lot ideas lined up for 2022 so make sure to follow us :)
Yo, awesome guide as always but ive got a question, is there way to use one background for one object and different to another? Same question with lightning, for example if i want to hide one light for concrete object, is it possible? Hope u got me, sry for bad english
Hey :) It should be possible with a bit of a workaround by using render layers. but we actually haven't really looked into that but there are plenty of tutorials on youtube
very specific request haha :P but probably not, we always try to create things in our own style and manner. but we might cover something like disintegration effects in the future :)
this technique is a bit limited in that way. there are a few workarounds which are not really perfect. No. 1 you could ad a mapping node and a texture coordinate node and change the size and position. but this will deform the image. No. 2 you could add the image on a plane and move it in the background of your scene and then move it around to fit your camera view. No. 3 you could extend the image in a photo editing program like photoshop. Just copy it and place it next to each other and blend the edges. then use this file as the hdri hope this helps you somehow :)
thank you :) the barbed wire is custom made by us so you can't download it ;) but we might make it available in the future sometime, so make sure to follow us :)
hey thanks a lot :)) yes we surely plan to do that in the future, we were swamped with client work the past months so there wasn't much time for tutorials sadly. but we have a lot planned for 2022 :D
Really loving and appreciating all the work ya'll are doing for the community! Is there a way to make the image source alternate, like having multiple enviro texture nodes that fade in and out in between each other? Also, can the image source be animated to move? Thanks again
okay after some research I found a video called "How to quickly animate HDRI environment maps" which covers these two points for anyone interested in experimenting with it.
hey there, usually a pink scene means a missing file. try to delete the node and add a new one before importing the picture. also make sure you've got the most recent version of blender. get back at us again if this doesn't resolve your problem :)
i aprreciate the effort, but it's the tutorial for the material, and you solve this just by slappin an enviroment texture on it. why not just do it the right way from the get go
yes of course it's not ""Real" iridescent but it's a fun and easy approach to get a similar result. antd here are more than enough tutorials for the other way so there's no harm here :)
this is cool but please dont sell it as a tutorial for iridescent materials, thats not what it is. its a metal material which is reflecting your environment texture.

we'll of course, that's the usual way to do it but this one also let's you experiment with backgrounds so it's quite nice :)

Hi! How to scale down the enviroment texture size? Mines was so big in the background

Works perfect! Is there a way to move or rotate the image around or is it stuck in place?
yess there is :) just add a texture coordinate node and a mapping node so move it around. or install the node wrangler addon and press crtl + t
@@toericht THANK YOU THIS WORKED!
