I just started playing this game, I love the hamster. . Someone told me he's one of the more difficult heroes to be good with and I can see he was right.. holy crap!!! certain spots like the corners of enemy spawn doors u can instant 180 during fireball without grapple n keep fireball

I have a question. Is there a specific name for a U turn Strafe boop (maybe this is it's name xd)? Like you go forward (whole time pressing W), get into fireball, let go of the hook (so it's not a rebound), strafe with your mouse along the wall, and bounce from a side wall to finish your U turn, still remain in fireball and maybe hit someone with it.
The place where I found this one possible is on Colosseo, in front of on the icecream truck there is a big painting on a wall. So doing it under the painting is possible.
This is the most diverse tech video I have ever seen. GJ. I learned many new techs which was suprising. But what was the "Grapple Hyperextension Accel" tech? I didn't understand that.

Just picked up ball and he’s really not bad it only took me a few hours to start stomping. Idk why I’ve never played with a good ball player before but I think he’s good and I’m happy we have people out here showing us all this tech. All he takes is a different thought process
Because good ball players shoot up the ranks, and the shitty tanks at lower ranks hide their lack of mechanics and game sense in low skill heroes like orisa hog etc.
@@stillnotchill2560 The skill ceiling of characters that rely on physics is always going to be higher, but that doesn't mean that other characters are "low skill".

Ive been playing ball since release and had hundreds of hours in the first month, some of these I didnt even know about. Like, breaking LOS allows you to boop more than once is crazy. I wonder if this can be combined with a normal double or drop boop tech to get 2 boops in rapid succession? Also had no clue you could cancel fireball with a ping.

You can do most of these on console, mate. Biggest one you for sure can’t do is the stair acceleration because that requires jump on scroll wheel.

@@altay_ballotp well let's say all of the mechanics are included in your video. But since you included variations of walljumps and bounces, you could add "tightrope bounce" which is when you bounce off of an object located too high for a normal bounce to work, there is also the "bounce while holding grapple" such as the first point rollout for Hollywood and eichewalde. Also there is the "grappled bounce off of a player", not really sure how to explain this one but i have a clip or two. Love to see my fireball corner jump in the vid btw

Ham would be amazing in a game like Quake Champions or TF2, his kit just doesn't really suit OW2's stand and deliver playstyle is all.

I'm pretty sure you hold down the ability button right before the cd ends
if you hold down your shields cd exactly 2 seconds before they come off cooldown the game gives you your previous shields regardless of your location or enemies in your vicinity

I was hoping you would explain fireball, no matter how I use my hook I can't seem to go as fast as other balls or have the big flame effect
you get the fireball after hitting a certain number of m/s while grappling as far as I know
grapple far away from you and move towards the grappled spot
wish there was a ui setting to tell speeds
I wish I could make some of these techs work on console. I just can't quite make the 180° turns without high sens that compromises my aim as a result.
as shown in the video you dont actually have to turn your camera to do 180 rebounds. instead you can go forward into a wall then as you hit the wall go backwards
I'm wondering how consistently can those moves be made (maybe lots of failed attempts were edited out) , and how much can they be used in a dynamic game, not with static bots . For now I fail 90-100% of the time to perform these tricks on a training map with static bots, so it would be a waste of time to do them live. The only things that work most often for me now on live is edge slam (going near an edge so you can slam without high ground) , and pinballing.
I've been practicing these techs for 2 years now so I can hit most techs consistently on bots. In a real match though I only use about a third of these techs anyway as most of them are completely useless, so I highly recommend that you practice on bots before trying them in game.
@@altay_ballotp I see. So I'm noticing a pattern. The best ball players have been playing him for a loooong time. I "just'' started playing Overwatch (40 hours on Hammond. As soon as I unlocked him started playing 'only' him, save for the weekly challenges) . And haven't played a PvP shooter in 15 years (and when I did, it was little, since not a fan of PvP) , so it will take me a loong time to git gud :D .

you have to slam directly on top of their hitbox to get the increased height
How does the increased height PD work?
I can't work out the difference apart from the height.
To get increased pile drive height you need to pile drive directly on their hitbox. But honestly it's pretty much impossible to hit it consistently on a moving target so it's a useless tech.
