Carpenter here, I’m actually getting ready for work in 8 degree weather cupcake. Some men still work for a living. And yes I’m wearing carhartt 🤣
If you're a carpenter then why are you trolling around in RUclips comments
I was unaware being a carpenter meant you couldn’t comment on RUclips. No connection
lmao watched this on my work computer, and when that Teams ping chimed in, I thought it was MY boss chiming in for a second! Then I realized that I was watching this after work hours, so it couldn't have been her.
@@matkennedy2 lmao! Sometimes it's anxiety-inducing, sometimes it's just your boss wishing you a Happy New Year.
I’m 36 and I been wearing carhartt as longest I remember. Here in Chicago is normal thing, specially in the winter. Mostly warehouse workers, factory workers and gang bangers rock carhartt. So wear whatever the fuck you want. Just don’t wear the wrong colors specially in Chicago.
It’s super hard not to like this guy 💯💯
Great Video ‼️
This was so hilarious, coming from a Carhartt fan. Now I gotta go clock in while rocking my Carhartt 😎
They started a vaccine mandate to work there. Lost a lot of business.
The reason sakters started wearing carhartt was because it was durable you could take anfall in their jacket and keep your skin intact. Its not new either skaters have been wearing it since the 80s. There are alot of coffee shop carhartt but i dont really mind tbh
Dickies makes
great canvas
in browns
and blacks.
I don’t get this video. I been in the trade for 16-17 years and we all wear carthartt because of the durability. Didn’t know it was a “thing” for guys living at home or office guys
"I get up before the sun" lol fuck
I wear carhartt for work and this is hilarious!! Super funny video
"Hey get da fuck out of ma truck!"
Many people are boycotting Carhartt now that they made vaccines mandatory for their employees. Even though the supreme court said OSHA vaccine mandate was unconstitutional. Never will we support Carhartt again. Many better alternatives anyways.
I use my dad's carhartt jacket because it's so warm and nice. He got it from his older brother and has had it for a few years. New ones are nice, but worn ones are better!
I got a carhartt chore jacket from my uncle, who bought it in the 80s. That’s a hell of a coat.
The CEO needs to resign now!
In NYC lots of ppl wear Carhartt. I dont even work construction and got a few. I find them extremely comfortable and warm during the winter.
Dude that was freaking hilarious! lol
I'm a Patagonia Hemp Workwear guy though, it'd be awesome if you could do a video on that brand too. 😅
😆🤣👍🏾. The Patagonia people are even more interesting!
Ahhh you mean Padegucci
@@MrKelly-ll1lx I was going to say, "Hey, fellas! We've got someone asking to be made fun of even more than 'Carhartt guy'!"
Anybody knows the exact product name of the black jacket he's wearing?
Since their CEO decided to act like an authoritarian thug, I will never buy their gear again.
Nobody cares
@@Big_Wamu apparently you do.
@@TNCelt1 no, I just definitely trolling you and the rest of the whiners.... carhartt clearly doesn't care.... just like the nfl didn't care, nascar didn't care, nike didn't care, yeti didn't care and so on.... the little right wing temper tantrum boycotts don't work
@@Big_Wamu Corporations used to care about their bottom line. I really miss corporate greed and cash is king. CEOs drinking ESG koolaid will lose in the end. The sooner the better.
@@waterywatery carhartt still going strong. Sucks to suck
Good stuff. I work a white collar job now, but spent over ten years in blue collar work (factories, landscaping, construction/surveying) and I just haven’t found a brand that holds up the same way so I still wear it. Can afford it better now too, ha!
Cutting all my carhartt tags off and mailing them to carhartt
Good idea
Wow you sure showed them. Well at least you aren't a walking billboard for a conglomerate. Idk why anybody would wanna give any company free advertising unless they were a loser who bought into some made up ideals from the company. Why do so many old people feel betrayed from a brand that makes silly little clothes.
Some bastard broke into my truck and all they look was my Carhartt jacket Papaw gave to me.
I have a 16 yr old Carhartt/ Makita jacket in mint condition. I live in Florida so I only wear it maybe 15 times a yr but just the same I'm proud. It actually looks brand new,I was looking at the tag in the collar yesterday, its getting a little worn but that's it!
Lmao 🤣 😂 🤣 😂
I love some of these carhartt jackets...but not liking the manufacturing being done overseas now,j140 says made in USA with parts from idk probably China or something...funny video man ,very accurate stereotyping..love it, definitely had me cracking upI
Woke!! F them. I just got rid of mine.
The hell with Carhartt.
I trust Carhartt clothing to make me look good while I’m coerced into taking vaccines.
Nah man carhartt just makes great stuff, I do landscaping and in the fall where I live it gets mad cold so a nice carhartt jacket is always welcomed, only reason I made it through this past fall
The thing is, I can tell by the holes in your jacket that you actually used it well.
Lmao, I’m a Software Engineer based outta’ Nantucket, I wear all Carhartt all day baby. I know I’m a poser af, but I love their shit.
😭😭
In my field Carhartt is the measure of success! Being promoted from a field guy to a field manager we get a Carhartt jacket! Woohooo!
Wait…didn’t Carhartt mandate All the employees to get the poke back in January 2022, and said
“We stand behind our decision because we believe vaccines are necessary to protect our workforce,” Carhartt co.
It's a heavy duty, quality, sweatshirt. I quit thinking about it after I bought it because it's my 3rd or 4th one. I know what I'm going to get out of it so I don't have to think about it. Not thinking about projecting an image or trying to be part of a tribe. It's a freaking sweatshirt . . . that's all.
Guys who ware carhartt in 2021 burn it in 2022!
Sorry to tell everyone I’ve been in construction for over 20 years and I can honestly tell you they don’t make Carhart clothing like they used to back in the day, it’s a joke now it’s lighter duck cloth, Some of the jackets have less down in them, The quality isn’t there like it used to be, just look at some of the vintage jackets if you got any of them what a difference in what they make not like nowadays facts!
That's true. Here in Germany it's pretty much impossible to get a pair of good old duck trousers. They're only selling this weird stretchy ones. I order most of my workwear from the US, because over here nothing really comes close to classic made carhartt workwear.
Carhartt still has some good items, but they are modernizing designs. If you want more traditional stuff then Duluth is where it's at.
I totally agree with you. I bought the Bartlett jacket 8-9 years ago and it was so warm and lined with a very quality Sherpa lining.
I lost weight and wanted one more fitted and bought the newer ones and they are so thin and no longer a jacket that holds up to the Chicago winter on it’s own.
Looks nice but not warm at all with a thin cheaper Sherpa lining
It’s funny how they’ve exported the work force to places like China whilst keeping the same prices and lowering quality. Carhartt is hardly even a workwear brand anymore as much as it is fashion.
Been a mechanic for 20 years. Been wearing Carhartt for 15. I only wear it at work and during the work week. The weekends I dress nice. I live in the burbs and all of my friends are white collar.
I laugh at the country guys who wear 2 tiers of Carhartt. They wear the ones stained and have holes in them to work. And the new ones to a nice restaurant or wedding lol. I like the clothes because they look nice and last a long time. I call bullshit on all of you people who have Carhartt for year and years . You obviously are not using it for work or hard work. My best friend is white collar but dresses country. He has a Carhartt jacket 15 years old. He only wears it to the home depo and always makes sure it never gets dirty. Maybe I am picky. But my Carhartt last about 1.5 years except for my jackets etc. All of my Carhartt that gets stained or holes in them go to my garage for work around the house. Last year I went camping and everyone was wearing Carhartt. I told all of them they are not Blue collar and look silly. I also said. I don’t wear my Seven hemmed jeans and a nice polo to camping….. 20 years ago. Only tradesman and welders and country wore Carhartt. Now when I go to Starbucks or Dutch. They are all wearing it.
I work maintenance at a university. I do just about everything manual and skilled labor. Carhartt is basically all I wear. Not to work though, I wear 20 dollar wranglers and dickies t shirts.
I mean from Carhartt wip site:
Carhartt Work In Progress (Carhartt WIP) forms a division of the American brand Carhartt, one of the first companies to pioneer workwear in the USA. Founded in Europe in 1989, 100 years after Hamilton Carhartt established his business in Detroit, Carhartt WIP has been carefully adapting and modifying Carhartt's core product characteristics for a different audience of consumers who value refined design and quality while still remaining true to Carhartt's brand origins.
This was their goal
This aged well f carhart
No man is wearing them any longer!
T
Carhartt got woke.
I wonder what the backlash from the loyal working people who save up for their products.
The whole FREEDOM things kinda a joke to the Carhartt family♠ ...haha nice
It's a brand, not some code that you are forced to live by.
@@bluecrow3755 Literally I have no idea what you are saying. Take your blood pressure medication and repeat your question in one response please grandpa. You can compose a complete sentence I believe in you.
I bought my father a pair of Carhartt canvas pants for his 50th birthday....they are still worn frequently with the torn knees and left butt cheek showing....I think he stopped washing them because the dirt probably holds the fibers together, coming up to 25 years tho
Pretty timely for this to show up in my feed. LOL. Let's Go Starbucks!
Carthartt is a good brand tho love wearing it when I’m working or not
I went in and tried ARIAT, CATERPILLAR, REDWING, RIDGECUT, WOLVERINE, TUESDAY, and TIMBERLAND. Guess what??? CARTHARTT blew ALL of them away by a mile !!!! how? like this: Instantly as soon as you slide your foot in, they feel "Insanely SUPPORTIVE" and "Insanely COMFORTABLE" at the "same time". That is the MAGIC combo, they even have ARCH SUPPORT!! which you can only get on orthopedic shoes. NOBODY comes close, and nobody tells you this about them. Bottom line is NOBODY EVEN COMES CLOSE to the CARTHARTT, they now have a customer for LIFE with me as long as they don't change.
It was the staple brand of a British student 20 years ago but you’d be lucky to find a student who could afford it in 2023.
tbh, I didn't even know that it's popular brand. I bought it because my friend from the US recommended it to me and there are 2 shops that sell them here.
This was actually pretty funny, thank you for making me laugh! :)
Jesus. Thought my buddy was on the thumbnail. Accurate.
I work outdoors. Dickies, Wrangler and CarrHarrt has been dependable
Great tongue in cheek.... I’m done with carhartt. I won’t burn mine but I won’t buy again
Just wait until they find out about Filson. It's basically the Pacific Northwest Lois Vuitton.
The price point should deter some.
CarHart lives in your head rent free
F ! Carharrt!
i just ordered my first Carhartt jacket in that colour! So excited!
I wish you would have said, “last week my boss told me I was dependable, or was it disposable… or the pendejo”😅
I just wore mine until it looked worn in. Doing oil changes in 10 degree weather on pavement and snow will do that lol.
Walls makes good work wear.
It is more reasonably priced than Carhartt.
And they don't fire their employees for being purebloods.
!
I bought a walls jacket once. Within a couple days two snaps fell apart then the zipper broke. Only wore it a few times. Not working in it either just wearing it.
I love this man.. and hes so stylish.. carhart 4 life.. keep grinding brother ✊🏻
Great Video man! I'm from germany and here it's quite the Same with the german workwear brand Engelbert Strauss. It always has a little, red square- logo with an ostrich in it on the shoulder. This brand means "hey, i'm a cool working Guy and i really know what it means to manage complicated, heavy and loud Things with many crazy colleagues out there" Even theyr kids wear Engelbert Strauss in the Kindergarden and on playgrounds, because this clothes are so cool, durable and tough. It means for other parents: Hey, f#€& your Tommy Hilfiger jackets and G-Star jeans. I'm the kid who knows what to when this big, wooden double-swing collapses!!
Lmfao I wear Carhartt but I work outside all day thru the rain and cold....
I can't help but think how much he looks like Barry Pepper.
Carhartt is the best, have some gear I keep clean for general wear cos it looks so nice and some gear I use for work as a drilling engineer cos it wears so well. Best brand ever imo
Does anyone know what model jacket he was wearing?
have you found out? im looking for it too x)
