@@trinaqexactly like what ever happened with fez and his “true love” I thought they would’ve went more on that after season one. I guess budget is down ?
The fact that Leia visited during spring break also makes the whole drama from the first few episodes make no sense. The show wants us to believe that Nate and Leia being around each other makes them feel so guilty that they can't act normal or keep the secret for more than a few days but they were fine during spring break and didn't talk about it at all?
You gotta remember. Each season of that 70s show had like 20 episodes. That 90s show has the unfortuante folley of modern practices, giving us a "full" season at 8 episodes
Folly? Modern practices? Hey now, there's a place called the United Kingdom where seasons have always been that length; and rumor has it they've made some decent television from time to time. It's even true that a show can make the transition from one to the other in a revival. Most people like the new Frasier, for example. And Degrassi moved in the other direction; I kept calling it "new" Degrassi even though almost all Degrassi is new, since there's as much television in a single season of the new show as in all the old combined. I will say there's probably an art to the change all the same, and maybe the 70s/90s show writers haven't made the conceptual adjustments that needed to be made. I was pretty excited that the streaming paradigm was resulting in crisper-length seasons where that was wanted; but then again, I was also excited about the fact that episodes can now be whatever length the writers think best for the story, and it's pretty clear not all have thrived under this new freedom.
You'd think that would mean it would cut down on the amount of filler and give us more meatier content since they have less time to work with, but that hardly seems to be the case.
Red and Kitty are the best part of the show. Kurtwood Smith is not in a great shape, he is 81, he sits most of the time but still has that great Red vibes. The actor playing Bob is great but I would like to see more of him. As for rest ... well it could be worse. Some good cameos. 5 out of 10. The first season was close to 6.5 out of 10

Idk born in 93 means u were 7 at 2000 so thats pretty young still. I think a 2000s show would be closer. I do agree it wasn't as good as 70s at showing it though.
My parents and Aunt loved the show. They grew up in the 70’s. They explained that very thing but they also did say that one thing was off with that 70’s show. It was the slang they would use. It was a bit to reflective of the younger generation that would probably be writing the show.
I agree, complete with sex and drugs references. It might be understandable, since some of the young actors have appeared on Disney and Nickelodeon shows in the past.

I thought it would have been less on the nose if Leia was her middle name. Like Eric gets mad and yells "Michelle Leia Forman!" Or something like that, feel free to imagine your own first name for her. Feel like the original would have done something like that.
I had high hopes for this show when season one came out. But as I re-watched, then tuned in to the second season... I noticed something was off. I'm not sure if it's because they're too squeaky clean, or the jokes don't hit the same. It's missing SOMETHING
I did like Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes popping up, though it was a contradiction to the previous "Clerks" reference. And they should have let the music/movie references speak for themselves, as opposed to throwing in a forced punchline. Plus, "Romeo and Juliet" was released in November 1996, five months after the season is set.
As a 90s kid I’m 35 it’s not a bad show can’t believe it didn’t reference any hip hop no Pac or Big it still references 1970s groups and the clothes they wore wasn’t 90s more like 80s to me!
Some people say it was Beavis and Butt-head. (Not because of the drug use) but because the 90’s was a rebellious era. Almost everyone mention Beavis and Butt-head in all shows and movies. No one really talked about clerks like that.
Brevity has been this show's undoing. "Season" 1 being only ten episodes released all at once set during a single summer meant that the entire thing felt less like a slice of life sitcom and more like a movie that got padded with vignettes and side stories. Part 2 being 8 episodes that weren't released until more than a year later AND set a year later meant that the first half had to rush to resolve the previous season's cliffhangers before getting into new adventures. The audience hasn't had time to actually sit with these characters and get to know them, half of them still feel one dimensional 18 episodes in because we haven't really had a full season like we would have with a traditional TV show. If it weren't for Red & Kitty, nothing would be grounding these kids.
Right! I'm like where did this openly gay kid come from. I'm so over the"forced inclusion". The 90s was not this pro gay era. I don't even remember being around gays growing up.
Season 1 technically just wrapped up. The Ranch had "Part" to each section of episodes, and according to an article I read years ago from Netflix that it takes 2 parts to make a complete season.
Havent watched Season 2 yet, but I really wanted to take note on a comment you made & I’m in 💯 agreement with. The acting (at least from the kids) is VERY much like something out of a Disney Channel show! I mean, there were some really corny jokes in That 70s Show too, but one of my issues with That 90s Show is that it feels like a Disney Channel series with pot and sex jokes. In theory, it could be funny but it leans more towards the Disney Channel side of things IMO
Part of it may be with That 70's Show, all the kids, other than Mila, were adults. With this show, all the kids are kids. Might be wanting to water it down a little because they're working with underage actors.
You nailed 2 of my problems. The first is that these kids look like kids this time around and are hypersexualized. It's gross. The second is that there is no depth to any of the relationships whether friend or romantic when it comes to the kids. All of their dialog is setup-punchline-laugh track.
Haven't seen season two. But the biggest thing counting against what I've seen in season 1 is in that 70s show you can actually believe Kelso and Hide when they threaten eachother but the same sense of danger isn't present in that 90s show. Plus people refusing to apologize shifting the blame and continuing to scheme means the tension can actually go somewhere rather than being deflated. So the narrative holds more weight in that 70s. The characters buckling so easily could have been an opportunity to switch up the formula and add an insufferable heart warming wrapp up which would be on brand for a 90s sitcom but they didn't actually do that, and lets be honest unless they subverted the hell out of it i wouldn't want them to.
That '70s show really captured what it was like to be a teenager. The emotions of falling in love and breaking up. Becoming an adult and learning to drive. That '90s show seems to be exclusively about nostalgia. The writing sucks and the actors are not as convincing.
That 70s show was a nostalgia trip for the 70s. I don't feel like this show is a nostalgia trip for the 90s. There are hardly any satirical references to the 90s. And the ones that do, fall very flat. Even some of the sets look exactly the same. I know they try to play that off as a joke in the first season, but it's been 20 years, that basement is going to have a different layout.
I think its plausible that an unfinished basement would remain the same, especially when Kit and Red became empty nesters. They certainly wouldn't have needed to upgrafe it for more living space. I did hear that the furniture used on the upstairs set was moved to the basememt set.
I think the second season is a little bit better because it's trying to be it own thing. Everything will resolve way too quickly but that's kind of the formula of most tv shows nowadays due to only have a like ten episodes.
Leo's son was mentioned. He called Hyde "The son I never had." and later reveals he had a son and clarified how yeah, that's why he said "The son I never had. Because I already have one." or something similar.
I have my criticisms as well with season/part 2 some that are similar to what you mentioned. And I feel like a lot of that is because of the more minimal episode season format with this series being on Netflix. The writers are trying to jam story arcs, character development if any into at least with this season into 8 episodes. I really feel like you need the standard amount of episodes in a season to give us something really compelling that allows time for characters to develop further and story arcs have time to breath and have story beats to them.
I was 7 years old in 1990 and 16 years old in 1999. Here's the real 90's... 1) Music. Metallica, Warren G, Dre, Wu Tang, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, STP, NIN, Manson, Pantera, Beck, RHCP. If you listened to corny or lame music such as Madonna, Boy II men, or Spice Girls, you would have been bullied in school. A good indicator of lame music vs cool, was to see how Beavis and Butthead would judge your video while they sat on the couch. 2) Nickelodeon. AYOOTD, Ren & Stimpy, LOTHT, Rugrats, and Salute Your Shorts. They were all good if you were young. 5) Sitcoms. Seinfeld and Fresh Prince were probably the funniest. Frasier, Coach, and Home Improvement were ok. Lame ones were Full House and Mad About You. Friends was mostly corny and lame, but did have some slightly funny parts 3) Other T.V. shows. Simspons was the goat. I also watched Garfield, Beavis and Butthead, Turtles, Star Trek Next Generation, Twin Peaks, Northern Exposure, Coach, Maury, Springer, Lake, Sally, Leeza, and Montel. Oprah and Donahue were kinda lame. I specifically remember Marilyn Manson and the Club Kids, making Donahue and the audience look like idiots, despite myself agreeing that teenagers were assholes. Adults just really sucked at discipline. Men were becoming too soft and it clearly shows in today's world. I loved Red Foreman's character as a father. This whole country needs a foot in the ass. 4) Movies. Shawshank, Green Mile, Ghost, Terminator 2, Titanic, Jurassic Park 1, Forrest Gump, Lion King, Bronx Tale, Edward Scissors Hands, Men in Black, Toy Story 1, Dances with Wolves, Schindler's List, Independence Day. The 90's was the best decade of movies. This is not debatable. This is fact. 70's was probably 2nd best. Today's movies are just absolute garbage. 5) Wrestling. It was the attitude era. It was fake and lame, but the promos were funny. The Rock was best on the mic. 6) Sports. Michael Jordan, Mike Tyson, Barry Sanders, Griffey. There's too many to list. But sports are lame today. 7) Video Games. Nintendo, Playstation, Sega, Gameboy. Ocarina of Time is the goat. Most games today are recycled shit. 8) Malls, arcade, and magic the gathering. Mortal Kombat 2 had the longest lines. The fatality audio and visuals were great. 9) Skateboarding and rollerblading. If you didn't own a skateboard, then you probably weren't cool. 10) Baggy jeans, falling down below the ass. JNCO and Hilfiger were the top brands that I remember. Skinny jeans are lame. 11) Cologne. It was sprayed everywhere. The top brands I remember were Hugo Boss, Dior, Calvin Klein and Polo. 12) Boomboxes and walkmans. It was cool to sit with friends on the front stoop and play Insane in the Brain. 13) Salem, Newport, Marlboro, and Camel cigarettes. Many of us smoked back then and it was cool. Today's vapes are lame. 14) Scumbags, Dirt Rockers, Wiggers, Jocks, Nerds. These were the typical school factions. 15) Fads. The ones I remember were tamagotchi, pogs, laser tag, nerf guns, and furbies. 16) Politicians. Bush, Clinton, Ross Perot, and Bob Dole. 17) News. O.J., Rodney King, Princess Diana, Columbine, Oklahoma bombing, and the Clinton impeachment 18) Technology. Windows 95 and 98 crashing every 15 minutes, the sound of dial up internet, the AOL mail and chat rooms. That 90's show has clearly failed. Woke has ruined society. That 70's show, however, was one of the best shows ever made.
You forgot 2pac and Biggie under Music, the nWo and Jake the Snake's cobra taking a bite out of the Macho Man under Wrestling, and Heaven's Gate and Waco under News, and the portable Discman with anti-skip that never worked under Technology, but I concur with everything else because I was also 7-16 in the 90's.
I’m sad to see that others felt let down by the first part of season 2 as well as I hoping it was just me. The more they focused on the kids, the less interesting/funny the season got which is sad as the first season needed to develop those characters more. Here’s hoping for a huge upswing in the second part of season 2.
There could have been so many brilliant contrasts in this series. For example, Eric's daughter could be obsessing over Titanic, and Eric could try to convince her that Star Wars is better. If the series went long enough, Eric could get extremely hyped about The Phantom Menace, and try to get his daughter (who still doesn't get what the big deal is about Star Wars) to be as excited. He takes his daughter to see it, and he ends up hating it, but his daughter loves it. There could even be a scene where they're sitting in the theater that parallels the scene from That '70s Show. Sooooo many decent plotlines that could have been made.
Fez's absence is likely connected to the Danny Masterson court case. Infamously Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Debra Jo Rupp, Kurtwood Smith, and Wilmer Valderrama wrote letters to to the court to defend Masterson's character and this news was very upsetting to the public. Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith are executive producers so they can protect their roles on the show, but the others are easily written out to avoid controversy.
No. Wilmer is busy on NCIS and other projects so that is unlikely for him. Ashton probably has other stuff going on and a family with Mila so… possibility but not likely.
Leia is my favorite of the kids, with Gwen second and Nate third. The show has problems, but I am really impressed by how much Leia feels like Eric and Donna's kid.
To be clear Leo does tell Hyde that he has to get back to his family. Funny considering how long Leo was away from his family and never mentioning sooner. I also believe when Leo gives Hyde his car Hyde reminds Leo that he has a son.
What hurts is there is a lot they don't show over the year that's not the Summer. I feel if a season 3 happens. They need to have Liea, and her family actually move back to town and have a narrative that goes a whole year not just a Summer.
Given I grew up in the 90’s. It doesn’t feel like it at all. So… they kinda miss that nostalgia bit quite a bit. Hell 95-96 had a lot going on and none is mentioned.
The racism episode took me out of it so much I had to google who wrote the episode and what else they wrote because it was so bad. She got caught because she just stood there and the other two ran 😂
The writers know what happened in that 70’s show but don’t understand why it worked. It’s the same as so many current sequels and reboots which is one of many reasons why they keep failing.
Can we also bring up the lack of 90s references? No reference to pokemon, something 90's kids were selling their bodies for. There is no reference to Mario party on N64, causing broken friendships or even Super Smash Brothers.
I'd love to see a video of yours about part 3 of that 90's show and that 70's show retrospective. I wish they mentioned the character they built Steven Hyde as he played a main role in the original series. I know Danny Masterson was sent to jail but giving one sentence to the audience of where Hyde is would've been helpful to the audience.
another problem is the water tower, in the last episode of the original show, Fez puts his name over Jackies, but in this show, its the original Jackie text.
The show looks like someone said "what if the 70s show but in the 90s" and thats as far as they actually thought it through without consideration of what ACTUALLY makes that 70s show good. Anyone can COPY an idea. A concept. But the APPLICATION will always be different.
I'm not saying it's perfect, but I had fun with the show. It's nice to see this world again and I really want the show to keep going because there is something there. We just need more time with the characters.
This comment section has shown me that kids involved in sub cultures meant for adults have integrated that’s sub culture into thier personality. It leads to everyone having distinctly different context/memory the same exact time in history. That 70’s show worked because most people remember that era the same. I.e. “this isnt even 90’s fr cause they didn’t talk about smart guy and digimon, gen z needs to try harder”thank you for attending my Ted talk
Yeah the title of the show is annoying as someone who grew up in the 90's a large portion of the show didn't feel like the 90's. It didn't know what it was hence why it died on the vine. Nostalgia only works too bring old fans back in, it can't keep them if it sucks/ is incoherent
Also like where are the 90's smalltown shenanigans like bonfires in the fields, punk concerts, plotlines around malls and at least talks of the internet.
An episode of the gang first getting online would be hilarious if it ended with the same disappointment I felt with my first experience with the internet because 90's internet was boring despite the hype around it.
Laurie technically isn’t gone cuz she had two actors. Her original passed but her replacement is still alive so we may or may not see her in the future
Mila and Ashton didn't show up cause they made that video defending Danny Masterson, and Wilmer Valderrama didn't participate in protest for his friends taken out. The blonde neighbor showed up in less episodes than season 1 because Bob became a cast member.
Something that I think needs to be taken into account is the writer's and actor's strike. Between Part one and Part two, there was a writer's and actor's strike. So writers and actors had to put down their tools and wait it out for months. Then productions had to get back to schedule, but scripts didn't the second polish they usually do. And considering how far ahead of time many of these scripts have to be written (especially the parodies that I don't want to spoil, but take a long time to produce and create) that extra polish wasn't there. But that said, I agree with Vee, the acting was a lot better. I found it a lot funnier too. And I think the addition of Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes actually worked. I feel like their presence may give the show more weight and allow a third season to go ahead as planned. (At least I hope it does, I actually did like the series, even with the missteps). The addition of Kelso's sister felt somewhat lacking. I think Kira Kosarin was a great actress for the part. But you could see where the writing strike meant that scripts didn't get a second polish or rewrite. And I felt bad for her when Nate broke up with her. Saying 'she wasn't good enough' for Nate, contrasted with the 'manipulative' character we see two episodes before. I really wanted to see her back in the show. I don't hate the show. And I know That 70s show had missteps too (not talking the final season, where the wheels fell off). But I hope it gets a third season, and I hope it gets better.
Only bummer so far is we haven’t got the old gang reunite yet (aside from Hyde) if we really do have one more season left , they should at least do that

It says a lot that a new season is already here and wasn't talked about enough. I didn't even knew until I saw this video.
I enjoyed the first season but I agree the second season did a drop. They also mentioned an unseen Spring Break visit.
Seconded, they seem to be relying less on the original cast, but it would have been nice if they had been mentioned more, albeit briefly.
This "season" is 3 part. The rest they said will be "normal". Lame to call this season 1 a year later
Way too short for a season. You can't get anyone fully invested that way
Season 2 is 16 episodes. It’s just split.
You'd think that would mean it would cut down on the amount of filler and give us more meatier content since they have less time to work with, but that hardly seems to be the case.
At the end of the season it just felt like nothing actually happened
That 90’s show is if word salad was a show
Red and Kitty are the best part of the show. Kurtwood Smith is not in a great shape, he is 81, he sits most of the time but still has that great Red vibes. The actor playing Bob is great but I would like to see more of him. As for rest ... well it could be worse. Some good cameos. 5 out of 10. The first season was close to 6.5 out of 10
Ozzie is the best.
Season one was slightly better. I say 1 was 7/10 and season 2 was 6/10
@@Kingofb0ngstyle I would say the actor is good, I like the character but he does not appear to mingle well with the rest. In my opinion the show creators don't have a good idea what to do with him
As someone who was born in 93 and grew up in the 90s, nothing about the 90s show screams the 90s. I have aubties and uncles thst grew up in the 70s and they tell me that 70s show feels like the 70s. That's saying something
Thats what my mom said, she loved that 70s show, said it was authentic since she was a teen in the 70s. I was a teen in the 90s and feel shafted.
I agree, the 70's setting felt authentic, but the 90's feels more forced, like the 2020's take on what the decade was like.
Idk born in 93 means u were 7 at 2000 so thats pretty young still. I think a 2000s show would be closer. I do agree it wasn't as good as 70s at showing it though.
For many years as a kid [I'm 26 rn] I always just assumed that "That 70s Show" was actually made in the 70s 😂😂
My parents and Aunt loved the show. They grew up in the 70’s. They explained that very thing but they also did say that one thing was off with that 70’s show. It was the slang they would use. It was a bit to reflective of the younger generation that would probably be writing the show.
It felt like disney channel show
I agree, complete with sex and drugs references. It might be understandable, since some of the young actors have appeared on Disney and Nickelodeon shows in the past.
Right down to the wokeness.

16:04 Its feels like they have too put in these 90s references to constantly remind the viewers that its set in the 90s when That 70s Show didn't need to do that.
Uh... they made constant 70s references what are you talking about?
@@shilohwehrmacht2947No. Not like they do in this show. I mean, Lisa Loeb? Why? Just because ... Wannabe? Why? Because fawk you. That's why. kitty quoting randomly Wayne's world (which by 1996 was past news by the way) because yeah.
I lived the 90's. We MADE FUN of gay guys (sad but true), we were not "best buddies" and had them in our homes as guests (specially when they're insufferable as that Asian kid is)we were smoking, drinking and having under age sex because yeah, why not?. This DOES NOT represent the 90s.
I'm not saying we were good kids (or bad for that matter) I'm just saying this show is ANYTHING but "the 90s*. And it makes.damn well sure to be as "inclusive" and "woke" as possible (which is the LITERAL ANTITHESIS of what we did back in the day. EVEN IN CARTOONS!!!)

The thing about Eric and Fez are they both stated that they wanted to do season 2 but they had scheduling conflicts so my guess is they see them next season
Man, Fez isn’t in season 2 at all?he stole every scene he was in with season 1.
@@DeadpoolNegative yeah Wilder Valderrama had scheduling conflicts he had a movie he was shooting while they were filming same as Topher Grace
@@willkuzenka a shame because he looked so jazzed to be playing Fez again in season one
They weren’t Jay and Silent Bob though.
As a 90s kid I’m 35 it’s not a bad show can’t believe it didn’t reference any hip hop no Pac or Big it still references 1970s groups and the clothes they wore wasn’t 90s more like 80s to me!
They live in Wisconsin why would they reference that
Jay and silent bob were the chech and chong of the 90s imo
Some people say it was Beavis and Butt-head. (Not because of the drug use) but because the 90’s was a rebellious era. Almost everyone mention Beavis and Butt-head in all shows and movies. No one really talked about clerks like that.
Jay and Silent Bob were totally cringe in the show
Brevity has been this show's undoing.
A black Abercrombie and Fitch model? Yea, right.
exactly....
Honestly, the big problem is this doesn't feel like the 90s at all, it just seems like a typical Gen Snowflake CW network show.
calling people snowflakes while getting mad at a tv show is peak hypocrisy

That 90s Show to me is like a pre teen Disney channel show
All young kids in the 90's had gay friends apparently. Sure.
Definitely not that gay outright
I mean who says one kid from the 90s isn’t gay haha
Definitely.
Gay people were invented in 2003
Right! I'm like where did this openly gay kid come from. I'm so over the"forced inclusion". The 90s was not this pro gay era. I don't even remember being around gays growing up.
That 70s show made an effort to feel like the 70s. That 90s show feels like it just happens to be the 90s
2nd half of season 2 comes out in October. I hope it picks up, I’ve been enjoying it. Not crazy about it but it’s not terrible.
If there’s anyone who I want to see make a that 70s show retrospective it’s Vee Infusio
The problem is they had to woke it up for Gen-Z and they can't show what the 90s were really like.
@@EddieHenderson92true,
I think the second season is a little bit better because it's trying to be it own thing. Everything will resolve way too quickly but that's kind of the formula of most tv shows nowadays due to only have a like ten episodes.
Once they triumphantly bring back Danny Masterson as Hyde, things will get a lot more exciting!
7:17 I mean another actress played Laurie when Kelly first left the show, they could've just bring that one back to reprise the role.
Leo has mentioned his son before. He tells hyde he has kids when he tells him he's like the son he never had. Also, netflix sucks
Yeah, so for Leo to have a son that he basically has just comes off redundant.
Leo did mention having a son in That 70s Show. It was when he asked Hyde to be his dad.
There is still 8 episodes coming out for season 2 in October
Leo's son was mentioned. He called Hyde "The son I never had." and later reveals he had a son and clarified how yeah, that's why he said "The son I never had. Because I already have one." or something similar.
Most won't remember that 80s show, which was what I immediately thought of when I heard there was going to be a that 90s show
The season isn’t over yet. They are releasing the second half of season 2 on October 24th.
The show is woke so already sucks.
Great video keep it up you're doing amazing things 😁👍
You have to remember that this is a Netflix show, so this kind of makes sense
leia and jay take a back seat for nikki and nate. but this show does need more episode. but i did like this season. i think fez is busy on ncis
Friends was mostly corny and lame, but did have some slightly funny parts
3) Other T.V.
17) News. O.J., Rodney King, Princess Diana, Columbine, Oklahoma bombing, and the Clinton impeachment
18) Technology.
@@fakereality96 LOLOL. Very very true!!
Definitely wanna see the full 70s show retrospective!
I was so frustrated with this show that I wrote my own That 90’s Show in my notes on my phone 😂
What hurts is there is a lot they don't show over the year that's not the Summer. I feel if a season 3 happens. They need to have Liea, and her family actually move back to town and have a narrative that goes a whole year not just a Summer.
Short guy here-
I found myself a bit confused with the characterization of mitch, both in the original series and now...
Vee- wanna make a deep dive?
Also think they should’ve shot on an old camera to give a nostalgic feel
Another banger video, thanks friend🤘
Part 3 is SOOOOO much better
11:25 Wilmer Valderrama has stated because of scheduling conflicts with his other show is why he couldn't make an appearance.
Given I grew up in the 90’s. It doesn’t feel like it at all. So… they kinda miss that nostalgia bit quite a bit. Hell 95-96 had a lot going on and none is mentioned.
I’ve been saying this feels as if that 70s show was made by Disney
The 70s have arrived. I would love a full retrospective of That 70s show
The racism episode took me out of it so much I had to google who wrote the episode and what else they wrote because it was so bad. She got caught because she just stood there and the other two ran 😂
And then immediately contradicted the point by showing her mom got caught and had a pic up there when she was younger.
Goldeneye anyone?
I think it would have been so dope them saying they were going to a biggie concert or pac concert
I think the show is around 1995 and 96. N64 barely came out, golden eye came out 1997, pokemon 1997, mario party 1998 and smash 1999.
Homie please. Most people born before 1985 wouldn't include Pokemon or Nintendo 64 as part of their 90's nostalgia.
As a child of the 90s I find it funny how that 70s show felt far, far more 90s then that 90s show even has or could. Cancel it and let it go.
Been waiting for this! I enjoyed it but cant lie. Was underwalming. Although still was nice.
another problem is the water tower, in the last episode of the original show, Fez puts his name over Jackies, but in this show, its the original Jackie text.
I had no idea it got renewed until this video. It's shocking to me given how bad the ratings were from season one
I feel like this is one of those shows that’s gonna need a while to cook before it can really reach its actual potential. I like it for what it is.
I enjoyed season 1. Season 2. I'm enioying, but nothing too gripping. I've got the show on as background noise while I cook and eat.
The show looks like someone said "what if the 70s show but in the 90s" and thats as far as they actually thought it through without consideration of what ACTUALLY makes that 70s show good.
Anyone can COPY an idea. A concept. But the APPLICATION will always be different.
That 70s show had a decade of character development. You can't compare it to a couple seasons that are only like 8 episodes long
I'm not saying it's perfect, but I had fun with the show. It's nice to see this world again and I really want the show to keep going because there is something there. We just need more time with the characters.
The new kids suck and it's to PC.
I stopped watching when half the cast tried to get a convicted serial rapist out of prison. HUGE pass.
Even though there's no evidences? The guy was framed you N@zi.
I think it's getting better. The new characters are getting more focus now.
u know theres another part coming out right
Yeah the title of the show is annoying as someone who grew up in the 90's a large portion of the show didn't feel like the 90's. It didn't know what it was hence why it died on the vine. Nostalgia only works too bring old fans back in, it can't keep them if it sucks/ is incoherent
Pretty sure Forte was the youth pastor
Most of the video is complementary to the show. And atleast it's better than Season 8
Red and Kitty are the only reason I enjoy it. They have the best on screen chemistry.
The problem is that it tries to be like the 70s show but its not the 70s, its the 90s lol
This looks like a kids show from nickelodeon or the Disney Channel
Laurie technically isn’t gone cuz she had two actors. Her original passed but her replacement is still alive so we may or may not see her in the future
That 90s show isn't the best show but it has its moments.
My problem with the show is that it's supposed to be set in the 90s but the gay friend Ozzy I believe is his name has a smartwatch
You crazy this show is good
Only bummer so far is we haven’t got the old gang reunite yet (aside from Hyde) if we really do have one more season left , they should at least do that
The 70s had arrived
Let's throw as "diverse" of a cast out there and hope it encompasses a retro feel.... 🙄
