The "axe" is a sword, yes. A specific type, too. An executioner's sword, since the bulk of the weight is at the tip of the blade.
It's actually an ikakalaka sword

My favorite sword is the executioner sword. Which are either a bit lighter at the tip or the same weight along the blades length and is theorized to have been used as the execution instrument for nobles rather than the executioner's acts which was meant for anything other than that country's nobles as the sword had a cleaner strike and would 100% kill them in one hit rather than there being a chance that the blade misses and well they're still alive but now have a piece of their neck missing I guess you could say this is of course before the guillotine was invented because once the guillotine was invented that was the main execution tool. There were also a lot more gruesome executions but those things are too well gruesome to mention. why do I know this?

@@alifftab3v135 Yeah It Would Do The Same As The Leader Class Figure. And For Crankcase From Studio Series That one was worst. It Was A Repaint Of Studio Series Crowbar. And I Would think berserker was crankcase and I would say this figure should be studio series crankcase

TMT toys has made a prototype for a tlk transformable optimistic prime and I hope it's scales pretty got with this figure
I'm starting to like this version of Megatron now, because the weapon he wields is awesome and the coolest thing about this version of Megatron is the facemask he uses 😁👍
This makes me want to get Challenger since I don't think we'll get official Hasbro versions for a good while.

I got him 3 days ago and i love it, the only issue i have is that his right leg is too loose so i had to put a little bit of glue on it and now he is perfect
I've heard nail polish works as well
I put a little bit of glue on the joint and bend it over and over, if you do it correctly the joint should be tight. Maybe there is video of that on RUclips

My god its like if Dragoon pumped some iron. This is one of my favorite movie designs of Megatron. Great video as always PrimevsPrime. Those LEDs make him look menacing as hell.

From what I hear, I think Bmb is going to make an oversized version of challenger to better scale with their KO Dragoon
The ko Challenger prime Is 29cm and de skybreaker Is 31cm so this are definitive Versions Of optimus and megatron for now
The only thing that bother me Is that you have to pull out His face to change he's mask but overall great figures

They posted a prototype photo of a KO upscaled Challenger, designed to scale with Skybreaker. Might come true.
I'm personally glad they downscaled him, he scales better with literally everything now.

I'll be honest the fact that these independent third party figures are of such a better caliber than the vastly more funded Hasbro and Takara is bitter sweet. Because these figures are even more rare and pricey in most cases than the main line and I just wish that the engineering on the main line figures would meet third party standard.
(Also I know there are plenty of awful third party figures but theyre usually slightly worse or on equal footing with main figures)

@@Lu1zF3l1pe dont have my own credit card and my parents arent the type to let me buy "toys" at these prices. It's a lot more expensive because our currency is shit
BMB also added a lot of new sculpted detail to his torso and shoulder pauldrons; the inset circular details on either side of his abdomen are notable examples as they're carved much deeper and have a lot more detail compared with Dragoon. Plus he has the individually articulated fingers. Skybreaker just looks a lot morel like the movie model overall.
i really wanted to like this re-sculpted version, the missing details on the unique toys version was for me his biggest flaw and a complete deal breaker, but, i hate that the head doesn't transform anymore, and that he cant look down sure doesn't help either, i hope someone makes a new head addon for him, i prefer to have the options rather than only what they think is what the toy needs

Great review, and a great figure too! This Megatron is one of my favourite Movie Megatron designs.
Personally I prefer no face swapping and more solid skirt piece but otherwise, this looks better than dragoon

I got mine last week and I do rather like him even if he feels a bit "softer".
But he looks good next to MPM8 and TFDream Factory's ROTF Megatron.

i wish you compared the Mpm ko megatron jet mode on this. and it's not only the paint apps bmb added they also added much details of sculpts and aesthetics.

I really like the snap edit transformation sequence, takes quite of bit of extra time in editing.
Megatron's bladed weapon is indeed a type of sword. Its called an Ikakalaka. If i remember correctly, its Hawaiian...

Sorry mate but it's a sword. I'd say put it up next to a pic of a battle axe and compare. Nevertheless I will be grabbing this guy up holy hell that is some witchery they made there no way to tell it transforms unless you really critique it

I think the unique Toys did it better, I don't like the new head and I'm really not a fan of the yellow/gold instead of the original copper
ut did better is just that ut challenger was to small he's the same size as lockdown and the ko is bigger watch he's review on the bs03 optimus prime he shows the size comparison between dragoon and cavaliers and also see kaon gladiator's custom dragoon and shmoptimus prime bs 03 cavaliers there the definitive tlk optimus and megatron

Why do I have a feeling that UT gonna come out with the “battle version” of Dragoon. Guess I will wait for UT to respond to this version.
I think the black mamba's version of dragoon compared to challenger is kinda accurate because if you google the scaling between optimus and megs, it is 28ft(optimus) to 35ft(megs).

This guy is really nice but, Im not getting it since i have the original Dragoon and still like Dragoon more than this for some reasons like size. Also better quality from what ive seen. Also many other reasons.

Ive been waiting for my UT dragoon and the challenger to come in it will be a while though.
Also I thought megatron was significantly larger than optimus in the movies but I haven't seen the last one yet.
Barely any parts stick together for mine. Wasted money which sucks cause he's awesome. Never transforming him again though.
Umm I'm pretty sure this would scale a lot better with the BMB version of Challenger rather than the official one. Duh.

nevermind i got both, and UT megs is 10 times better than bs01 eventhough bs01 have more screen accurate..but unless you have a skilled and time to modify bs01, UT is the one for you, not to mentioned plastic quality is better

UT dragoon pro - tighter ratchet and joints, have better durability, have better articulation, come with optimus head and base(or maybe optimus head)
Cons - bigger (depend on person it may be better or worse, but Im fined with it), look sleek/less detail (for some reason I like it, look like some human knight), megatron without mask looks like grumpy darth sith, and this come without telling that the colour is not screen accurate
BS-01 pro - screen accurate, accurate detail and colour, a bit smaller to matched other mpm and ut figure, a lot of detail, and new face sculpt is awesome to show megs expression
cons- plastic is feel cheap, thinner. be careful not to force it as I got stretch mark on shoulder already. Articulation is meh, unless you have skill and time to modify it, it felt so blocky, like just half of ut dragoon articulation. My legs have very loose ratchet but thats is nothing compare to the elbow, my megs cannot hold the damn sword and shield. Yes I have to modify it with superglue but I see it was common issue with this copy, Im not sure myself.
In short, if you just want it as statue to display bs01 is right choice as it look really accurate but if u want some playability, maybe some poses, UT dragoon is for you. Its a shame Bs01 have some QC issue otherwise it was a great figure. BTW sorry for my English, English is my second language
@@nedlan1857 i think dragoon is better in some way for some times skybreaker is better for scale on some other figures but dragoon is better when you want megs to stand taller than some other figures
@@davidemanuelarroyoportacio9499 i kinda agree.. I prefer dragoon more because of the sleek design and shiny finish, megs look likes some medieval knight..also having megs a bit taller is no issue for me as it looks more menacingly
