Dragon ball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, literally. I'm pretty I started watching around 1998 or something. I was too young to know what year it was. Dbz was such a phenomenon in my country that I remember all the kids and some adults gathering around the television set ready to see what the next episode held in store for goku. Honestly, thinking about it brings me joy. Goku and dragon ball is a core part of me at this point. Im pretty sure most kids born around my time in DR feel the same.
I remember seeing dbz like 10 years ago when my sister's boyfriend introduced it to me but I didn't get into it until last year when they where showing dbs on adult swim after that I watched the entire series, movies special and the original db and fell in love with dragon Ball
This game will be great to replay when ever I want a real dbz experience I got the ultimate bundle because I'm hard core dbz fan if I want pvp I'll just play dbz fighterz or xv2 or dbzbt3

I had no clue what folks were saying, but i was just drawn into the badass, fast paced visuals. Hence my preference for original japanese voices. Later, I imported the PS1 games and started learning the lore. It was my gateway into the world of anime, and I took japanese classes in high school just to learn wtf they were saying lol.. Too many memories.
to me dbz fits more as a action rpg than a fighting game, dbz was all about power levels and exploring worlds and improving ones strength through training and dedication, simple fighting games just dont come close enough to encompassing all of that like a action rpg can, grinding levels in a rpg will give you that feeling of training and meeting those plateau's that the characters did in the shows
The first time I encountered Dbz was in 2003 when I was 3 my cousin who was 10 at the time use to watch it like mad he made me sit with him an watch it since then I'm a fan

Oh, I've been into DBZ for many a year. Back when the Ocean Dub was all we really had and it only went up to Goku showing up on Namek before just looping back to the beginning. If you wanted to watch other episodes or any of the movies past Tree of Might, you had to get them on bootleg VHS. I had the Japanese version of Dragonball GT: Final Bout and a copy of "Dragonball Z Legends" which was only released in Japan. You needed a Pro Action Replay and a tiny metal spring in order to play Japanese games on an American PS1. Legends was my jam. I managed to beat Kid Buu with Krillin. Legends worked by beating up on the bad guy until your move meter built up. Only then could you use a special move. Good times, man. Good times.

1992, I was 8 and a older cousin use to go to China town in NY and buy bootleg copies then make copies himself and sell them. I watch Dbz in pieces starting with the frieza saga (when Goku first arrives) parts of the android saga and the whole cell saga from semi perfect cell through Gohan winning and the full Buu saga. I didn't watch the whole thing beginning to end until way latter
For a min I didn't wanna play at first cause most dbz games make you start from the beginning of dbz but this one does it in a right way to where you don't mind
