I like the idea of increasing volume by making it a larger diameter. Wouldn't mind adding more length to get it down to the 135 db range.
Love all the different camera points and positions. Really get a good sense of how the can distorts ability to determine shot placement/location.
Great content!! Always enjoy your stuff. Thanks for what you do.
I think you should make a tier list/ranking video for every suppressor you reviewed in a year. It would be a fun video and probably get decent views.
Would love if they made this for 30 cal
Me too and fatter
You know they will
Kinda useless at that point...just get a normal can.
agree and im sure they will
They'd have to call it the big chungus
man using that hitch vise is very smart, you could do anything at the range even change a barrel, very cool
Yeah it’s a great tool. I dismount and keep in a duffle bag in my truck bed with all the tools I need for gunsmiffin on site. I learned the hard way years ago to just be prepared. Nothing sucks more than to drive an hr to film and have to go home because I forgot to mount something haha!
I like how you tell the db rating off the jump, thank you!
FYI...Fat Cat vs Turbo T3 and Fat Cat vs Surefire Mini...videos by Farro's Lead Farm. The deeper tone seems to make the Fat Cat easier on the ears as compared to other suppressors with lower decibel ratings.
For me, tone and gas in the face are my two biggest concerns. 👍🏼 I’ll go take a look, thanks.
Link to that video please?
@@kungfupandas1there are at near the top of lead farms channel
Great video and very informative. Great tone.
It sounded quieter then the T3 at GunCon.
For everyone, I ordered one of these and it only takes the short/compact sRx muzzle devices, I pin/welded a full size flash hider and the tines are to long before hitting the first baffle, I did figure out that their old Phantom QD muzzles and adaptors work along with compact Keymo muzzles and the Omega adaptor.
That’s odd, Yankee hills website says it’s comparable with the 4405 which is the full length srx flash hider.
@@splitarrow1 Yeah I thought so too until I put the 4405 on my barrel pin/weld went happy over to the shop and found out it hit the first baffle so the srx collar does not work
@@kenjipark4717 I’ve got a t3 I jail still and I waiting for it to get out to check fitment before I pin and weld the flash hider. Even though I know it will work. Did you contact yhm? I’d be pissed if I pin and welded a flash hider after the company says it’ll work and come to find out it doesn’t.
Yea the fact these don’t fit the yhm r2 qd mounts is why I’m holding back. Although could just direct thread but then need to buy the 80$ adapter ..
@@carsonhunt4642they will fit you just have to use the longer phantom adapter not the shorter Kurz. Had the same issue with my R9 when I wanted to use it on my ar with the full size brake. I tried the adapter that came with my T2 & it clears.
This suppressor with the Q Plan B mount is amazing on the 16” Sugar Weasel! Holy crap is this a cool can!
Can you confirm it will fit a cherry bomb?
I just ordered mine with the silencer shop sale. I watched your video about 15 or 20 times. I see the serial number, I wish I could get that serial number. That's my old unit in Italy. Well done video as usual!
Edited: This will not work with the standard SRX devices. YHM said they will be coming out with a short FH that will work with 5.56mm. Current FH that is short won't work with 5.56.
This is on my wishlist just because of how it looks lol
Dude for as short as that is and getting the decibels down to not the best but acceptable levels compared to an older 6"-9" can and especially that flash signature reduction at a relatively low suppressor cost.......this thing wouod be perfect for 10.5-12.5 to keep it tight and way better balanced. I like this
They really need to do a can like this in 9mm or 30cal. I think a 9mm version of this, maybe an inch longer would sound great
A company called GSL Suppressors, makes exactly what you are talking about. Called the Fatman 9.
Damn, that sucks you had permit issues. You're a solid dude taking the crap end of the stick instead of your viewers.
Dude in video looks like he's on his way to the police convention in Vegas but very curious suppressor. Kinda looks like an oversized blast shield 🧐
Just picked one up too
That can works amazingly well !!!
this would be awesome in 30 cal for a 300blk truck/night stand gun
Call it the pudgie beaver!
Cat butt for the win
I have one in jail right now. This is my first suppressor.
An idea for a future video...Get a Black River Tactical EZ Tune gas tube for your G$ super duty and do a before and after comparison for the channel. Should help with the gas face and no moving parts to gum up or break like an adjustable gas block.
Thats an insane price for a gas tube tho. And at least with a gas block you can change it when/if you want to shoot unsupressed. Its a great idea but damn, $60+ for them to drill a different size gas port in it is crazy.
I heard they are making bolts that have the gas ports pointing downward into the mag well
It seems to me that the blast was louder when you hit the steel for some reason. Maybe the sound was amplified due to sound waves bouncing back from a solid object? Just me maybe
It'd be nice if the SRx long FH fit in there or of they had a short FH for 223
It does look cool.
I'd love to see this in a side-by-side comparison to the Witt Machine Big Body Tu Tu Three.
How much light does the extra diameter block in low light use?
I'm curious to see what a suppressor that fat but longer and 9mm bore would sound like
That could just be the best thumbnail of the Year award 2023.
The winner which is you , will get a two year subscription to the porn site of your choice..
As long as it's not 'Men with Harry Butts"
I wonder if anyone does/will make a suppressor cover for this?
Dude that seems quiet
Does it come with the adapter to fit the sRx mount?
Will this work with the longer srx muzzle devices?
I can't wait until you do the griffin recce5k. By far the best k can on the market atm. I heard this can and it was loud af.
See you at Suppressed Fest!
Odd that the can is made in Massachusetts, but that state doesn't allow residents of that state to own suppressors
No the volume is closer to the turbo but the same length as the k
How do you like this vs the T3
Даже звук гонгов стал тише , видеоредакторы творят чудеса ))
Have this can in jail now, can't wait to use it later on this year!
I'm happy to see more fatter cans even if this doesn't quite meet most people's sound requirements. The 1.5" standard is all well and good, but with zero interest in tucking the suppressor I'm all in for wider cans. For the same length we got more internal volume, and that's cool. Currently have a Wolfman transferring (~1.6") and will be looking into a Nomad (~1.7"). I still want a Sandman, but not for it's small tube.
I want a short fat can for my short 7.62x39!
Wonder why you had muzzle flash occasionally while can was off.
It’s the camera shutter rate.
🤘 😁 🤘
If you had to pick one right now, would you pick Fat Cat or Turbo K-RB?
Came to ask this exact question
What is the host? I will answer it for him.
@@BasementOps for me it would be for 10.5-16” 556 rifles
@@Noggles10-For maximum suppression T3 on a 10.5- 12.5.
-For 13.7- 16 the Turbo K RB
- The Fat cat falls in between the Full size T3 and K RB and is more driven for weight and lenght constraints.
Same here-will be on a 14.5 5.56mm. Initially thought about the Fat Cat but went with Turbo K-RB.
Jesus some one bbq the atfs booties. My yhm fat cat with kitty booty came back approved in 7 days. 😮
Nice
Cool can.
What’s the diameter at the slimmest point?
lol gun trader den is near me but they upcharge compared to other sellers, def not a discount
I assume you would have to have an extended hub to fit a long mount. Im looking for something for a 14.5 pw. Its got a Rearden R2 on it.
Is this all subsonic ammo?
No that’s all M193 ball
How does this compare soundwise to turbo k?
Come to Suppressed Fest 2023 and you can compare them in person. 🤘
Homeboy is wearing a $30k Rolex Yachtmaster yellow gold with oyster flex strap! Nice watch! I have the white gold version of the same watch.
Can you do a review on their Nitro N20 9mm Silencer? Cant find much on it. It’s seems like an awesome can.
❤️🔥🇺🇸
I regret nothing
Any plans on reviewing Witt Machine cans?
I don't solicit. They would have to reach out to me.
@@nfareviewshit.
What is the hub specs on the Rugged Obsidian 45?
That muzzle device might be even worse than a cherry bomb lol
Cool shirt.. Let the rattle be heard.
Not following 🤷♂️
I believe he's referring to the rattler on a rattlesnake, ie another way to say don't tread on me
Man I want this fat cat and the T3 but I can only choose one…. So which one should I choose 🤔?
i think it all depends what you want to mount it on.. 16 inch or more id say go with the far cat. less then id say t3. just my opinion
What?
unfortunately... i wont get one. not paying ATF 200 for no reason just to be put on a list.
The reason is to get the can, and you're already on a list.
But I understand. The tax was never meant to be paid, it's just like a poll tax. The government wanted you to give up, and it succeeded.
Your studio looks just like Classifire arms.. smh
Nice white supremist shirt.
What the fuck are you talking about? It’s a Retro Rifle shirt.
I know it's been 5 days, but I'm just here for the replies in case this dude wants to defend this hilarious idea that everything cool is owned by the WS forces. 🤣
The correct reply to this **tarded statement is "Thanks!".
