Good idea, once you get your hands on a flexible resin that works reliably you can bang out a zillion wax patterns in the time it would take to make a printer full of resins. Good luck getting your hands on the stuff you need to test some trickier-to-print molds and learn what this resin will and won't let you get away with.

Do you avoid using mold release spray with these? I’m trying to print my first mold, and when I made the rubber style molds in school we used spray to help get the model out of the mold.

From the 3d printed injection molds I have made with standard photopolymer resins you will want to use a spray mold release, most waxes don't stick well to cured 3d resin but on a detailed mold with tight corners and small details the wax designs would stick and possibly rip apart.

I am desperate to find a resin that I can print 3d molds with. It would save me a fortune. I can’t wait for you to find resin that works well! Thanks

We're also waiting for that perfect resin. The one's we've tried so far (B9 Resilient, Apply Lab Work Spring, Siraya Tech Tenacious) have had their hits and misses. I think Apply Lab Work would be worth a try in the mean time as its not locked to a machine and relatively cheap.

Hi I'm curious, how do you do flow simulation test?

I have a b9 core 550 I work with everyday. Would be willing to show how I use it and also open to learning more from you about optimizing 3d print processes. Specifically large format printing trees vs molds and how you are able to support models (large trees with layers of rings) and reduce cast cleaning after casting.
