I'm always worried about frying garlic like that, I usually add it as a last ingredient as I've heard when it's overcooked it's bitter but I do use sunflower oil rather than olive oil. I'm wondering if the olive oil doesn't burn it as quick.

That looks so tasty Nadia, i have been trying not to cut down on eating meat one day a week usually on a Monday but finding it hard to find to think of meals to have getting fed of jacket potatoes, so i will defiantly try this tomorrow xx

Maaaaark at least grow some herbs this year for Nadia!🙏🏼 Basil and parsley and other soft herbs from seed and woody herbs like bay and thymes, rosemary, just buy young plants X😘

Made this the last day it was so good and easy and it's a base for other ingredients for the sauce. Plus it smells amazing.

My 11 year old and 19 month old cleared their plates when I cooked this dish. Going to teach my eldest how to cook this and he can make something quick, cheap and tasty when he’s older.
I wanted to thank you for inspiring to cook more! You’ve taught me lots of little tips such as how to make a tasty white sauce, tomato sauce, perfect pancakes and simple homemade burgers 🤩 I actually enjoy cooking again!

I make this all time after seeing this on your show! It's amazing when you add nandos sauce to the pasta sauce whilst cooking!!
Nadia, I am allergic to tomatoes is there anything I can add instead or shall I just leave it out.
I think red peppers ( roasted in the oven and then peeled to have a smooth texture) and then blended to a smooth sauce/paste would work great as they are a bit sweet like tomatoes! :)
