- A huge suprise at the "Outsider" 2021 Tour' setlist. "Rock It" is a Roger Taylor's penned song from Queen's "The Game" album released in 1980.
During the Outsider Tour, Roger and Spike Edney are not part of this song at stage and the remaining band members make a great noise with amazing vocals by drummer Tyler Warren. Видеоклипы
Proof that the fans will sing there hearts out to deeper cuts if only Q+AL would take note
Neil and Tyler are Queen nerds... they know the deep cuts... I hope Bri and Rog will consider including those deep cuts in future tours. ❤️
That's what I hope for too. If only they'd make a tour with the deep cuts. Songs that they never or rarely played live. I think Brian kinda decided that fans only want the hits or at least that there will be more people coming and singing if they play the hits. Someone should convince him otherwise. I'd gladly change Champions or IWTBF or Kind of magic or maybe even BohRap for Rock it, Long away, Breakthrough, Ride the wild wind, Dragon attack or Dead on time.
They really should throw random deep cuts in, even if they only play then a handful of times. I remember hearing how Neil and Tyler almost convinced them to play Let Me Entertain You, that would have been so cool. Also wish they'd play a few songs from The Miracle and Innuendo since a lot of then have rarely or never been performed live.
@@MrFusion i totally agree on your comments, random deep cuts and more tracks being played live from 'the miracle' and 'innuendo'. My worry is they'd play 'invisible man' which i just loathe lol! I've seen Rog and Bri playing deeper cuts with Taylor Hawkins ('long away', 'sleeping on the sidewalk' etc) but i'm not sure they chose the best deeper cuts to play, and i think the whole performance could of possibly left Rog and Bri against the idea of deeper cuts. Then i've seen Q+AL play 'machines (back to humans)' and again it didn't last on the tour. But then i don't think they played it with much conviction. And if i'm honest, whilst they played 'in the lap of the gods (revisited)' last tour which i loved, it was clear not many people knew it. Its a tough call to make with deeper cuts i think, so i think they should ask me and you to choose the next set list lol!
One of the best Queen covers I've ever heard. He has a very fast and difficult take away solo, and that makes it more special. Good music band.
I never really liked this song until I saw Roger's band perform it live in Manchester. Absolutely brilliant. Tyler Warren is a marvel.
Wow..... great, great cover!!!
Tyler Warrens voice is fantastic!
Neils' voice is also outstanding!!!!❤
It’s great to hear this superb rendition of a Queen deep-cut
Good version. But seriously everybody wanted to hear Roger sing this!
Like that kid said in the taco commercial. "Can't we have both?"
Saw him in Bath this week and this was one of the highlights. Absolutely brilliant version
as much as we'd love to, I doubt Roger could pull the song off well at all at this age; having Tyler sing it while Roger gets a break after the pretty demanding Man On Fire was a good choice
Tyler has some pipes. Great to hear it here.
Great track from my childhood and foundational moments of my rock and roll journey. God bless Queen. And Mack.
Brilliant 🎙️ sounds great! Have always loved this tune!
Pretty amazing how much he sounds like Roger.
Tyler Warren manages to sound like most anyone he loves. Have you seen his Rush covers done all by him self on every instrument and vocals? Subscribe to his channel if you haven't already.
Tyler is such a great musician
What a elaborate great drummer they have ^^
Wonderful, this song was the first one that I liked from The Game!!!
I want hear it next year on Queen Tour please ! 👌🏻💪🏻👍🏻🤘🤘
Queen tour only Brian, Roger y jhon no Adam please
@@norbertoosvaldovelazquez275 WTF is wrong with you. .? Maybe you can resurrect mercury?
@@CJ-oi7zm yes!!
Pure class long may Roger and queen reign
Such a great rendition of an underrated Queen gem \m/
the drummer played gorgeous, not a single extra note. He sang great! Greetings from Russia
Is this where someone says it should be Queen+Tyler Warren?
Thanks for playing Queen, I know Freddie would love it😍😍😍
what a band.. roger taylor and his band should be rock arround the world.. if it possible.
SUPER COOL!!!!

Great voice..great song..and taylor.?
Where Roger is, the drummers are singing....
He is resting. He is more than 70 years old, so he needs little rest during the long set
@@aapooikarinen8144 🤣🤣🤣😅😅🤷♂️
He could nailed it. He must have sing it.
Where's roger
I love this song but where is Roger?
resting, I think it's a lot of effort on the part of the two of them
Awesome! Who's the lovely lady on the keyboards?
Tina Hizon
One of Roger's signature songs and he leaves the stage on that one. Strange decision.
To be honest it's too high for him. Don't forget the voice gets deeper when you get older. But WOW: singing and playing drums at that speed at the same time! Brilliant!
Freddie sang this song live
@@Joey_PSU at the age of 35 Rog would have done it, too! No way for Freddie at age 75 except he would lower the line in his brilliant way.
@@StefanOberhuber actually, no; he wouldn't have. Roger was in his early 30s for the Game and Hot Space tours (the only ones that featured Rock It live) and Roger didn't sing lead vocals for any version. The 1980 and 1981 versions are in the original key but the Hot Space ones had to be taken down to accommodate Fred's weaker voice on the part of the tour where Rock It was actually performed. And on the Game tour, Rock It wasn't even done that much. It was on the set for the first 6 or so shows, and then brought back for a few Japan ones and two south American shows. Aside from the early ones (Freddie was in phenomenal shape at the start of the Game tour), Fred couldn't sing it very well for the most part and had to dodge most high notes.
Sorry for going on a bit of a tangent, I just love talking about Queen live
@@elliebingo its actually pretty interesting to see discussions about Queen's livr performances, due to their constant change in vocal performances and the band's chemistry. It's never the same show twice when you're listening to Queen
The keyboard player looks young enough to be Roger's granddaughter!
A little slower than the album but great none the less
Did they kid nap Taylor
False advertising 😑
I'm gonna assume the guitarist thinks he's Dave Grohl 😂
He and Grohl are friends. You have that backwards!
Música horrível!!?
