I came across your page because I am searching for the fuse for the push button start. I left my keys in one location and drove 2 miles away and realized that I left my keys. I went back to pick up the keys, however, ever since that day, my push button start no longer works. I read that it may have something to do with the fuse. However, I don’t know where to locate the fuse for the push button start. I have a 2012 ML350

In the interior fuse box (beside glove box) time stamp 14:24, fuse #10 is missing for the Blower control. Should there be a 10 amp fuse? My car doesn't have it either. Thanks

Hey Andy, prefuse, pyrofuse or crash fuse is under the battery jump post terminal under the hood, it has a red cap on it, for me it is located in front of booster.
@@BenzAddiction I could explain the missing number 10 on mine due to not having the controls with the rear vents (it's all controlled up front). Fuse 119 may not be used with the Bluetec OM642 engine we have, even though it's so similar to the CDI.

My battery has been dead for a while so went I jump start it the windows roll down but I did saw water inside the battery copartment. I'm not sure whether a fuse blown out or what. I bought a new battery once I plug it in I have to check all the fuses. But in the fuse diagram I don't really see power window fuse or anything close to it.

If your AC does not work, the first thing to check is to see if the system has gas, if low on gas the pressure switch will cut off the power to prevent damage to the compressor.
Check rear SAM, if you don't have much experience, try to disconnect main battery then disconnect all rear SAM wiring and clean plugs with contact cleaner then reconnect SAM plugs again then the main battery, start the car do a full left with the steering wheel then a full right, this may reprogram the small issues like yours. Note: rear SAM is located under the back right fuse box. (If all of this doesn't work with you, try recode the rear SAM or you may have to replace it with new or used one.
ED, USA, i have ml420CDI monstrosity. really they're ahead of american cars in 2008. the diesel has 265k miles and runs good except for a voltage limiting that holds mph at 40. i think the SAM unit runs down the battery because rear doorlatch is bad. put one on and door locks but wont unlock- battery stays up now! unsure what is limiting mph . if i can get bugs out , will make offroad jeep outa her. really, car has enuff elect. for f16 JET. wonder about later model of 500 horsepower? what is bluetecdiesel HP?

Try a battery reset first. If not fixed diagnose with star or a proper obd2 scanner. Also check the starter relay.

It is usually the glow module that fails and, of course the Plugs.

Fuse number 10 is for the blower, rear area, 2nd row.

All the car does is says malfunction light comes on and the pump will kick on for maybe 15 seconds then off it gosh

There is no such fuse, check the actuator, the door module and the wiring.

It can be the vent flaps inside. You can always check the evaporator temperature and compare it to the vent temp. Easy to diagnose using obd tools.

This is all controlled by front SAM module. Check to see it there is corrosion or damage under the cover.

Which where is the fuse for ac compressor?
Your AC compressor has a valve on it that might go bad, there is no relay or clutch.
Is there a fuse or relay for the AC compressor?
If your AC does not work, the first thing to check is to see if the system has gas, if low on gas the pressure switch will cut off the power to prevent damage to the compressor.

Great story, yes rear SAM is a big problem on these W164s due to the water leaking from tail light gasket. I need to change them too.
