Seriously thank you so much. I needed a burger recipe for my daughter who's is on a mostly vegan diet due to stomach issues. And her doctor's recommending a lot of protein because she's underweight. Thank you thank you.
Fabulous recipe, and thanks so much for the burger bun tips; that Everything Dough really does make everything! It made sitting through the endless dad joke about buns, juicy buns, worth it. : ) Hope you're all well! TFP : )
Greetings from D.C.!Another great recipe!! Yep, will be making it. Thanks for showing us how to make a (meatless) burger, which actually resembles a meat burger!! Okay, here's a request...sausages. I know you guys have a hotdog recipe, but can you show us how to make a meatless sausage that we can either grill, bake air fry or lightly pan fry (with onions & peppers...yum!) I'm thanking you in advance, because I know whatever you come up with be DELICIOUS!😊 Sharon
@@MakeItDairyFree Oh yes to NuVegan! I watched your video of when your family were visiting DC. I was thinking about a few other places I wish I could have recommended for you all to visit. Keep me posted on the family's next visit (when it's safe for us all to move about) and I'd be more than happy to suggest some other spots to check out! Oh, and I eagerly await the video on the plant-based sausages!! Thanks in advance. 😊
Omg I just discovered your channel by searching for a vegan bday cake! Needless to say, I’ll be watching every video today! Lol!!! You are amazing dude! 🥳
I've always been bewildered why all these vegan burger recipes use veggie stock instead of BEEF stock!!! It just seems like you're missing a great opportunity for more beef flavor. I do like this guy's technique in that he suggests adding items into the mixer and spread them out as you do. This gives the blending a head start and prevents the ingredients from "pocketing". Was there any mention of a beefy taste? Either way, this dude has control over his pulse rate and blood pressure, seemingly. This is on my try list as I have all the ingredients in my vegan burger lab already for this. Thank you.
Wow I’m so surprised this recipe did not blow up 😱 this is perfect and so simple to do and not a lot of ingredients than I thought, I also do the simple vegetable recipe cauliflower , mushroom, and walnut method …. But we all know about Andrew and those mushrooms 😅 glad to find another meat patty recipe 🙏🏽🌺
I would love to see the burguer cut in the middle to see how textured it is? We recently went vegan & I’m finding a whole world of delicious food out there but I’ve yet to find a burguer that has the texture that I want, I’m pretty sure it’s going to be this one 👍🏼
We hope you give the recipe a try and it's the one! Unfortunately, we don't have a photo of the inside right now. We hope to remake and add one after the holiday season is over
Have you ever tried to recreate the fast food burgers/chicken that's out there? What about your kids? I saw Grubbany had made a sauteed "beef" using shredded mushrooms. Can you make a Smash Burger patty with shredded mushrooms, beans/lentils, flax, and flour? What about adding other nuts and carrots into the mix? Maybe a Quadruple Quarter Pounder (pounder) burger with vegan bacon and cheese?
Ok, he motivated me so I made half a batch as I had all the ingredients even the options. The only deviation I made was I boiled my rice in beef boullion and used boiling beef boullion over my TVP instead of the vegetable boullion. I had a 1/4 lb patty roughly and pan fried it for a total of about 15 minutes then melted some cheese on it and had it with a mixture of 1/2 mayo and 1/2 sriracha sauce with chopped onions. It was tasty indeed and only slightly squishy. It flipped fine in the pan. I felt great after eating it and was very satisfied but think the next batch I'll add a Tbsp of blackstrap, 1 Tsp of Marmite and use half the vital wheat gluten and the other half I'll use some of the ground flax binder I have (which is 1/2 cup flax, 1/2 cup water, 1 tsp mushroom boullion, 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce and 1/2 beef boullion cube ground up). If it's too wet I'll top things off with a sprinkle of bread crumbs. Fantastic recipe man! Thank you.
These burgers look as amazing as your beard!!! If I was Ted to make these without vital wheat gluten, what could I use as a substitute?? Thanks in advance and love the channel

@@MakeItDairyFree they tasted store bought. Exactly like this one plant-based burger. It smelled and looked exactly the same. The texture wasn't very pleasant. Being vegan, i know plant-based burgers don't always have the same texture as traditional burger meat, but i don't really mind. It was mushy, even after I cooked it for longer than 3-4 minutes. Also, just to say, my comment wasn't out of hate. I absolutely love y'alls channel. The "sexual" side of this video was hilarious. I also definitely wanna make those burger buns.
