Some fix notes due to when I editing this video, I'm too sleepy
- Spirit Mod leader don't step down, He still working but he going to focusing on their real life things first
- Eternal Mode is Eternity mode, How I got that word
No idea
One of the best years for modding and Thorium was ported to 1.4 in the last day of the year definitely the best ending of 2022
Woo! Shadows of Abaddon got mentioned, 2nd favorite mod right below Mod of Redemption, both incredibly well made content mods that don't need a ridiculous amount of items to be good
i love you ryuusei! happy new year
Thorium is now UPDATED to 1.4!!!
Already?
Hell yeah!
Shhhhhessshhh
Let's goooooo
Yeaaaaaaa 🎉
I love how this video became outdated before it even premiered thanks to the Thorium update.
Really happy infernum is here it definitely deserves it
you shhared stunning done!=)
Let's hope we get some interesting mods for new year 2023
Octopath traveler music is 🔥
I hope that they can be played with all possible mods because everything is incredible and a 64 bit version of the tmodloader for more power
the story of red cloud its cool mod, but it has a small amount of content, I want more LPs from youtubers on it)
By the way, if y'all need anyone to iron out the scripts for these videos in order to avoid some of the linguistic errors that come as a result of the language barrier before release, I'd be down. I've already done such for Brome on a few occasions, and taken on a more miscellaneous consultant role for Mura.
what would be a good combination of mods to have? (excluding qol) me and my two friends are soon to beat mm ftw vanilla and they have little experience playing with mods. i was wondering if there were any of these that are good together. ive heard that calamity isnt a good mix with any other content mod as it is balanced around itself
doesnt need to be on this list*
@@kebin2392 Yea Calamity should really be thought of as a modpack on it's own. It only really feels right with QoL as it changes both vanilla and modded content. Then due to how it is balanced, other mods will either be incredible weak and be a push over, or offer something incredibly strong that feels like cheating. Though the mod does have a tremendous amount of content is worth playing through if you haven't despite "only" being Calamity.
Thorium can be paired with some minor content mods and might work with even some of the other vanilla friendly large mods but I'd personally just run Thorium with something like Secrets of the Shadows just for some extra content. Play as a Thorium exclusive class.
Mod of Redemption is another vanilla friendly mod and I'm currently playing through it at this moment. It doesn't really change any vanilla content though so it should be compatible with any vanilla rework or balancing mod. I'm currently giving it a whirl with "BetterClasses" but anything like Races or Apache classes or any minion rework mods should also fit fairly well.
Story of Red Cloud is an adventure experience and should be played standalone. Not really like the other mods imo.
Fargo Souls offers a tremendous amount of power creep if paired with other mods and if playing in it's special Eternity mode difficulty, should be played with just QoL similar to Calamity.
All of the mods I've mentioned so far are ported to 1.4 however if you are willing to play on 1.3 you can also experience the Spirt Mod or Shadows of Abaddon. I don't have much experience with either but they both seem to similar to Thorium so might have room to pair with another minor content, class or rework mod(s).
I think as a first modded experience, playing Thorium is probably ideal, but Calamity is imo more fun and rewarding. I highly recommend playing through the entirety of Calamity if you haven't. Just bring your favourite QoL mods (AlchemistNPC Lite, Magic Storage etc) and have fun!
If you want a more "All the mods" experience then use either Mod of Redemption or Thorium as your "base" and add other smaller mods to it. Shadows of Abaddon, Stars Above, Spooky Mod, or any other smaller content mods. Just stay away from Calamity and Fargo's Eternity mod (can add Fargo Souls without enabling Eternity but have to deal with accessory power creep)
Havent modded terr yet, is there a good list of mods that work well together for a sever?
man terraria really should collabing with octopath traveler
You should make a video of some mod pack you like to use
really wish there were time stamps or a list of mods in the description, that way i dont need to watch the parts about mods i already know of
I wonder when SoA is going to be ported, if it's going to be ported at all that is
Me when I hear about spirit mod still being worked on: **Hype**
This man shared the stream before it was live
horse react him

Advanced world generation and world gen previewer should be present for most of these mods
Advanced world generation makes world generation more stable
World gen previewer allows you to see your entire world being created from scratch to see if you like it
You can turn off most of these mods after

It should be played by itself since it has a custom map

"Calamity hasn't received any major updates this year"
wat?
Major updates are big scale update like Exo Mech, Rush & Dust and more
Calamity just have minor update that changes weapons in this year
mf really showed a bugged screenshot lmao
