Absolutely. I am making my own fursuit (not a full suit, just the head, hand paws, foot paws, tail and digitigrade legs) because it's really fun even though it takes so much work, plus I'm 13 and have $10 to my name so buying one isn't a option, or a good idea idea in my opinion. I haven't made my eyelids yet and I haven't put the magnets in yet, but I did go to grade three science. If you don't make sure you put them on the right way around and they do repel each other then it would be pretty much impossible to attach the eyelids you made because the magnetic force would be "pushing" the eyelid magnets away instead of "pulling" them together. If you're magnets are the wrong way around and they don't repel each other enough to make the eyelid not stick then you probably got really weak magnets that wouldn't have been very good at holding on the eyelids.
they're neodymium rare earth magnets, they dont attract from one end and repel from another, their positive pole is their faces and the edges are their negative pole. they will always stick face to face regardless because of that.
Well I came down here to explain, but it seems @Jacqthepossposs already has lol. But yeah, what they said. Both faces of the magnet will stick to each other because of the type.
I'm finally learning how to make fur suits, I was asking myself "What if someone wanted to have magnetic eyes brows?" And then I finally found this video. AND IT'S A GREAT ONE TOO. You make it look so simple. It's awesome, thank you for making this.
Omg finally a good tutorial on how to make movabel eyelids. Also are movabel eveybrow made the same way and are magnets like heavy? /srry for bad english/

Thanks soooooo much for the wonderful tutorial i will make my first suit (particial) after the quarantine cus i live in serbia 🇷🇸 and there are no materials like foam buckram .... So my older brother that now lives in America is gonna bring all the materials (he is a furry too) So i will use this bootiful tutorial ❤️
Wowza! Thanks so much for this tutorial! So I saw your headphones prop that you made, and I'd DIE if you made a tutorial for them sometime. Could you please consider making them sometime? Thank you, and PLEASE keep up your awesome work.
I'm going to start making a fursuit soon and I'm seriously thinking of adding those removable eyelid, So... Can you please tell me what is the size of the magnets you're using ?
Heyo, I’m currently trying to make a fursuit with this tutorial but still had a question after watching. Did you use different kinds or sizes of magnets for the head base and eyelids? If so, does it matter which ones they are because the link in the description takes you to quite a few different kinds of options. Anyways, thank you for reading through this and keep up the amazing work!
Love it! I'm kinda wondering if you can think of an alternative to magnets? Maybe velcro? Depending on the strength of the magnets I'm not overly comfortable having really strong ones that close to my head ^-^; however I guess one could get away with using a slightly weaker magnet, no?
Maybe when I make a fursuit I will use this tutorial but however it won't be on my first one it will be on my 4th or 5th fursuit P.S I don't have any fursuits yet
can you put any color of felt on the side that’s not showing? i wanna put black on the other side since i cant find a felt that matches the faux fur im using
I know this is late but, what would you do if you had a plastic fursuit headbase? Would you get super strong magnets and glue them on the inside? And your videos are going to be a big help for me !
Ik This is a pretty old video but if there 15mm or 20mm could you send a link to them, The one in the description just links to amazon and not the actual product. I've been looking for magnets for a few months now and cant find any so it'll help me out alot! Also, tysm for all these tutorials :)
Sorry if this question is annoy in anyway but I'm going to try to save up to get a partial suit from you and I was wondering how much extra is it for the removable eyebrows?
cwel and helpful but i made mine with velcro (before this) because i couldn't find strong magnets and the lining around the eyes are black so i used black velcro (obviously) and they work the same way as these but if i make another suit i will totally use this tutorial!!!!!!!
Yo im having a lot of issues getting my magnets to actually stick to each other once i glue them in esp since i cant get them to stick at all against each other if i have any glue on the sides facing each other, and it comes out of the foam if i just glue the back i know you put the type of magnets you use but do you have a specific brand, or link to the ones you use? this is the 2nd time ive ordered my magnets and they didn't work 😓

I never made a fursuit, but wouldn’t it be important to make sure that the magnets don’t repeal each other

Man! I love love love this head!
This is extremely useful. What type of magnet do you recommend using?
Extremely useful Tysm!
just a quick question, what tool did you use to cut out the small magnet circles and what magnets did you use?
Awesome! Could u do a video on how to shave the fur so smoothly and cleanly?
Already on my list of future tutorials

FANTASTIC

@freckled cat creations
she made velcro eyelids for fursuits but i love mugiwara cosplay videos
Great tutorial! What kind of magnets should I use exactly?
Neodymium magnets, I linked to them in the description

im making my first fursuit soon and i actually didnt want magnetic eyelids but then i saw this and im going to try it!
I need to make these !!
0:35 the glue on that magnet looks like a horse
I don't see that
@@MugiwaraCosplay Its on the left side, a sideways horse face, I just see the head and neck
I know, I still don't see that
Why do you use different size magnets than the ones on the head do you have to do that?
you wanted to do that really cool I like your clip 🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒
these work with all material unlike velcro ones right?
Like I asked on the rogue video, how would you do this with resin? Could you add a bit of foam so it’s leveled out? Thanks :)
How big are the magnets you used? And is it possible to get a link to them?
What would I do if my head was made of a hard plastic material? Would I glue the magnets straight on and try to hide them?
What magnets do you recommend? Do they have to be supper strong or
Neodymium magnets are the best for fursuits.
They’ll get a little weaker when you put fabric on them but that’s normal.
Wow cool
Hey I love this tutorial I was wondering what pair of clippers you use since I'm looking for a better pair
It says in the description

I was so happy when I found this and then I saw the size of the magnets. The magnets I have are probably 5 times bigger then those. TuT
Are the eyelid magnets smaller than the ones around the eye? Just want to be sure :D.
Could you use a hole puncher to cut the holes in the eyelids?
It depends on how big holes it can make

FINALLY NOW I KNOW
I have a question, so the magnets I have don't work when covered and I can't afford better ones, what should I do?
what is the diameter of the magnets? All i can seem to find is 1.26 inch diameter which seems too large?
