I grew up in Vicksburg and moved away at the age of 16. As kids, we played in the park and the area was not limited to the park itself, but there were markers thru out the city. I didn’t realize I lived in such a historical town until I moved away.

I don't know why but this place makes me feel at home even though I'm from New Orleans .

Think that's Drummond St. you turned onto at 3:30. Looks like it's still fairly nice. When you turned down Bowmar Ave. looks like things started going downhill. Looks like you got off into Farmer St. and some of the other rundown areas. 9:45 looks like you turned off Mission 66 onto Baldwin Ferry. At 14:59, the building on the right used to be Cooper H.S. Someone bought it and converted it into apartments. 16:48, Grove St. I had family that lived on Grove St for 50 years. Also, the Old Courthouse Museum on the left. I moved away in the mid 1980's. Hate seeing all of the decay downtown.

Appreciate the kind words. Will be back in Texas in a few weeks and planning Tennessee near the end of the summer. Hoping to get a little of North Carolina when I get to Chattanooga.
