That's 'in the pocket funk' for Dave haha, I haven't seen the movie but I hear most people consider this music video as better produced than the movie, pretty cool video, glad Dave liked it.
Not sure he’d dig this track as it was intentionally written about Stuart and recorded with no bass to prove a point / out of spite… hence the title, King for a Day”, Jay got the last laugh. In fact, Jay’s arrogance spilled into live shows after Stuart’s departure. Nick Fyffe join the band in between the Synkronized & Funk Odyssey albums. I’ll post a video of Jay talking down to Nick on stage during a live show in ‘03. Nick didn’t stick around for long (less then a year), and you’ll see why. But - Dave will love this track as it’s a cut that never made it onto the Funk Odyssey album. Enjoy. ruclips.net/video/8JgBZyemgjg/видео.html
Ugh I really don't want to play him King For A Day. I know the hows and whys but I don't want it to tarnish how he feels about either of these two guys.
@@samechick Dave is a big boy now, he'll have to face the fact that his funk parents split up, and one was more to blame than the other, and yes his view on one of them is likely to get tarnished.......... but life is rarely the way we want it! Lol
Don't be alarmed, their just bringing the funk. That is one water-logged movie theater! Wow, it was like a combo Jamiroquai video and Poseidon Adventure flick. Well, if I was in the theater I'd ask for a refund for my ticket price for sure. Taxi's on bass, rainwater's on drums. cool track though, nice groove to move to. Here's a real cool tune from Opeth for Dave to check called Burden, Opeth - Burden [OFFICIAL VIDEO] - RUclips
I thought this was the coolest thing I’d ever seen when my dad first showed it to me, great reaction as always! Would love to see you check out the song Heavydirtysoul by twenty one pilots
i dont know if im going crazy or this is a madela effect but i had this cd and it came with a dvd with his videos.. and in this video, the movie they are watching is totally diffrent... its a guy walking in nyc looked inside a store window, sees a fishtank ,the camera slowly zooms in his face through the fishtank and he punches through it, and his hand reaches into the movie theater.... not this godzilla foot/movie thing.. i cant seem to find that other version of the video.
Like your show, I know how this works on requests, but if you want to here good but different than typical Jamiroquai- Seven Days in Sunny June-Feels Just Like it Should-Corner of the Earth (three gooduns).I know what run-on sentences are-keep rolling like a Bigwheel.

Have not heard this in such a long time! Was obsessed with it when it first came out and I'm sure I still have the single, somewhere.
¡This song is so rockin!,i love jay kay's voice and the bass of Mr. Stuart zender is fire.
Yes ! Love this Epic Choon 👌⚡💯
It's always nice to see Dave still liking their sound as they evolved over the years! Still very interested to see what he makes of "King for a day"

I loved this reaction! I advise checking out Butterfly also by Jamiroquai.
Butterfly is on the list!
@@samechick Awesome!
Yup, Derrick McKenzie at it via acoustic setup. Jamiroquai at their height…. Stuart left shortly thereafter.
