    I have been using Procreate for my animations for a while now, but I was starting to feel really limited, and I just now understand how it's really not made for animation in the first place! Definitely switching to Callipeg! Your video was so useful! I hope to see more tutorials so I can learn as everything is so difficult at the moment hahaha! Amazing job thank you!

      Hi Theo, glad you found the tutorial helpful! I used to animate with Procreate too, but I also found it quite limited (and at times, incredibly frustrating). Callipeg just keeps getting better and better! Thanks so much for your kind words, and keep an eye for the next tutorial :)

    I'm making an animation in clip studio that lasts 20 seconds and has approximately 400 shadow and painted drawings, this weighs about 240 mb, is it possible to do something of that size in callipeg?

    • @thedorkwood
      @thedorkwood  Год назад +1

      Hi! I created an animation some time ago (ruclips.net/video/YC8THOxvoHk/видео.html) that uses 100+ layers (1080 x 1080), is over 1 minute in length, and is around 3gb in size, all created in Callipeg 😀 Of course, this all depends on how much RAM your iPad has - I have the 2nd-gen iPad, and it handles Callipeg really well. The more RAM you have, the more layers you can use. Callipeg really is amazing 😁

    • @GEOS21
      @GEOS21 Год назад

      wow that's amazing and lasts a minute, it's a loooong timeline@@thedorkwood

    Do you HAVE to do it 720 x 720?

    • @thedorkwood
      @thedorkwood  Год назад

      Not at all! 720 was just an easy number to work with. Whatever your canvas/screen size, you just need to scroll the mountain by that same amount (explained at around 2:20 in the video). So, if your canvas is 2000px wide, you need to scroll the mountain horizontally out of the scene by 2000px. 😃 Hope that makes sense! 🐭😁

    It’s jittery, how do you smooth it?

    • @thedorkwood
      @thedorkwood  Год назад

      Hi, if you increase the frames-per-second (to around 60fps or above) and extend the amount of animated frames (i.e. drag the frame to extend it), it will smooth out the overall animation. The higher the frame-rate plus more frames will always equal a much smoother experience 😁Hope this helps!
