I wanted to do another review because our reviews are always so dam popular (LOL maybe not). But I did feel like I needed to share my thoughts on this one, so here it is. I hope you like it, space cowboys!

Are we gonna forget how Hagita who flattened his bike is the dude who changed the whole god damn course of the anime. He deadass is an underrated character.

He took the scientific approach.
But kakeru wasn’t trying to die right? He thought about his friends, and was just crossing the road when the light suddenly turned red right?
@@Laura-ib8ns I don't think so, because the reason Kakeru didn't go through that route where they are supposed to find him is probably that he didn't use a bike. So he goes through a different route making them have to find Kakeru again so I kinda think Hagita worsens the condition.

Yea and he alr knew naho would always love kakeru more than him. Even in the different reality where kakeru died they both know that naho loves kakeru more than him. She only started looking at him after he comforted her. Suwa does lose everything technically, in the 2 reality naho loves kakeru more than him. He marries her in diff timeline but naho still loves kakeru more than him. In a different timeline he doesnt even end up with her.
I'm not a fan of that. Suwa was such a bro and all that became of him was the second choice?
That's really depressing. I would have had the Anthem of the Heart ending instead.
@@Bando79832 i don't think that's true... in the other timeline, it's said that even though she loved kakeru at the time, she grew to love Suwa more. They had a kid together lol. So I prefer to think about it just with the separate timelines: in the one, kakeru dies and loves Suwa more than anything, in the other, kakeru lives and her love for suwa doesn't ever really start
I can't even think of how many tears I shed. They were actually uncontrollable-
I just watched it yesterday finished the whole thing in one go and I just BAWLED and I couldn’t stop it

Honestly Naho annoyed me but i think that's because I csn relate to her. Her anxiety is really strong and prevents her from doing things or seeing things that we from the outside csn plainly see will end well for her. It's great because unlike a show like watamote where it is used for comedic value, this is a more annoying and stress inducing experience, whixh is annoying to watch yes but i feel it is a more realistic approach.
The anime is general annoyed me bruh and naho too like bruh he wouldn't have been depressed in the first place if you followed the dam letter like she couldn't even do that naho and suwa were so much better by alotttttttt suwa is a real man and that black haired depressed boi and naho got in arguments because either naho said something insentitive. She was so annoying like she confessed right and kamerun was like yea me too but I don't wanna gf rn their relationship was a rollercoaster and I didn't like it suwa was too good for naho way too dam good and he was better than kakeru by alot. The story in general was bad for meee

Naho always loves kakeru, even in the different reality where naho marries suwa. Suwa was only able to get her because he died in accident, so technically suwa was only able to make naho look at him bc of kakeru. He alr knew that she’ll always love him more than him, his future and present self. Yes suwa sacrificed a lot but kakeru also did too, he didnt wanna be in a relationship with naho even tho he liked her so much cause he didnt wanna hurt her. Ur acting as if “depressed boy” is the bad guy. Suwa only got her attention in diff reality cause of kakeru.
@@Bando79832 I think one of the many flaw of this show is that they don't really showcase how suwa is struggled and decided what he should do. Like my man could've had a child and live happily ever after. Introspectively he sacrificed not only his love but his child too. Also I think anyone is willing to overcome their anxieties if it saves a life. Naho risks the future for the most trivial things and it's freaking annoying
@@remomoscookinghouse ya but that only happened because kakeru died. Let’s say suwa that did tell her that they had a kid together, that to me seems like suwa is forcing her to be with him. Even his future self realized that he only got to be with naho was because kakeru was out of the picture. It really isn’t a bad ending for suwa because now he gets to live a life where he has no regrets and he got to save his friend.

The best thing .. about this anime is that nobody will be disappointed.. becoz naho will end up with kakeru and also suwa..

While I do like the romance between Naho and Kageru, I felt like the most powerful part of the series was more about a group of friends who are trying to save their secretly depressed friend. I wish they focused more on each of the character's relationship with Kageru, instead of mostly just Naho and Kageru.
The scene in final episode where they all reveal the letters from the future, while also revealing that each letter had a letter to Kageru, it broke me. I teared up in most of the serious episodes, but that scene, i was bawling.
When I thought he died again I just started crying. 😭
If I'm honest I didnt like the ending I thought it was an amazing anime but I feel as though the writer made it so kakeru is the centre of attention Suwa didnt get any justice even his life married to naho ain't the best out of all this hes always in a situation of loss and I hate that. They could have made it better by at least making it so suwa and takako end up together but now I'll just think he eternal sadnes
I mean, he doesnt necessarily have to end up with someone from the group. He's bound to meet new people as time goes on.
yes the ending was disapointing and i wish there was more romantic scenes with naho and kakeru because i like romance but suwa deserved better

Like why do the chicks always have to die I swear I've watched a couple of these tragic romance shows and around 80% of the time the chick gets bodied. I just wanna see the dude die at least once like kill him off in a drunk driving accident or give him some heart problems or some shit idk 😂😂😂😂.

Great Review! I love Orange. Made me cry a lot. Also for me Suwa should be the main character here. Every time he enters a scene makes wanna cry already. And i see alot of people commenting that they are irritated with Naho. Same here. But overall its a great anime guys. WORTH WATCHING!

Naw, that would ruin the entire story. Don't get me wrong, I loved suwa. He was a great character and what he did was awesome. Making him the main would have dulled the whole point of the show. It was to save kakeru and give him a chance at happiness.
Everyone's salty about what happened to Suwa but I'm honestly happy that he and Naho didn't end up together in the new timeline cause let's be real, he deserves better

I love the manga and anime. I don't understand why people hate Naho. She's trying to face her anxieties to do good things, like saving Kakeru. I also wish Hagita would just tell Azu how he feels about her and drops his denial.

I don't hate her. I didn't think she was bland either. I was more frustrated with her at times. Like when the letter says don't ignore kakeru when he calls out to you and she literally runs off when he tries to talk to her. I don't even know why she ignored him in the timeline he died. Knowing that frustrated me too. He tried to talk to her several times in the timeline he died and she ignored him.
Just to clarify, I know on the surface why she ignored him. It was because he was dating that girl and she was around him. I know why she ignored him. It just frustrated me that she did.

i’m pretty sure he won’t try to take his own life again because of the way the second letter from the time capsule was worded compared to the first one how in the first one it was obvious he didn’t plan on being alive when they opened it but in the second letter (when they saved him) he asked what he was doing in that moment because he plans on being alive when the time capsule is opened

i was kind of confused at the end. what happened? wasn't kakeru on the sidewalk and how did he get hit? did he get hit? how did he fall? how was he ok? why did the driver just drive away? where was the driver? it was like they were there and then gone and there again just stopped on the side of the road and then they drove away after maybe seeing the kids were alright? i don't get it at all. what happened? i was so confused. i was almost positive kakeru was on the sidewalk not yet attempting suicide.

I didn't find NoHo annoying while I was constantly yelling at the screen out loud "just do it... It will save his life" I also very much understood because I also have crippling shyness

In the real world, Kakeru already died. The parallel world was just Naho imagination if they can save him.. (I read some theories about this series from Google and don't know if it's true)
My take on the Ending: (not sure tho)
First of all, there are 3 timelines in the series.
1.) Main Timeline (Naho and Kakeru) The Naho x Kakeru isn't a dream and it actually happened
2.) 2nd Timeline {Naho and Suwa}
3.) 3rd Timeline [The time where they were about to receive the letters]
So, for me they suceeded in saving Kakeru, married and had a child with Naho and had a happy ending (Main Timeline).
Next, is that the memories and events that had happened in the Main Timeline was simply shown to the Future (2nd Timeline Naho and Suwa)
through dreams. So basically they were shown the results of sending the letter in the past through dreams. They saw the future of the Main Timeline and what could've been their future as well. (if kakeru was alive in their timeline)
Lastly the ending, the ending showed basically the first episode of the series where they were about to receive the letters. Although it might look like it, but it's actually different.
The Main Timeline (Naho and Kakeru) planned of saving their past selves just like the 2nd Timeline (Naho and Suwa) did to the Main Timeline (Naho and Kakeru). BUT this time Kakeru also sent a letter to his past self. (3rd Timeline)
So that's basically it, it just keeps on going on going on going. Basically it just repeats itself.
I really missed where kakeru sent a letter to himself. Someone said it was his son who sent a letter.
Man the guy with glasses was the best part tbh love that Guy.
Yeah, I do not want to continue watching the anime movie. Seeing Kakure like that in anime series is enough. I also want to end my life when I reach 30 years old, so somehow I can relate to him. I don't feel the significance of living after I fulfill my goals. Staying here in this world will give me more anxieties, depression and regrets. But thanks to this anime, this will help people to realize that there's more to life. I'm still finding my way to live my life to the fullest.
I was cheering for all of them yesterday to help Kakure, and thankfully they were able to save him.

i just finished the anime, and i really enjoyed it 😿 suwa was the mvp of the show, and hagita. i wish they showed us another universe where naho and kakeru were happy :((

People say Suwa is the best and all, they either didn't pay attention or they didn't care but Suwa and Naho triggered Kakeru's self deleting thoughts and in end at the festival Suwa and Naho sealed his fate, there are even more indication of these incidents during the manga and a hell lot more in the LN. In my opinion only Hagita and Azu were the MVPs, even the tall gal screwed up in some instances....hell even in the alternate timeline where Suwa knew Kakeru would d!e he did a couple of subtle attempts of sabotage....
Finally someone that have sense, like I don’t wanna make suwa a bad guy but him confessing in such a bad time was very selfish of him. The fact that he never told kakeru that naho rejected him💀 ya red flag for me
@@_jdjdjhe talks about doing that very thing in the movie. Have you watched the movie? I agree with what y'all are saying, though. I didn't dislike suwa. I just think people are giving him too much credit.
Suwa, Hagita, Azu are much better characters than naho and kakeru... Hagita and Azu should have a spin-off series I think that would be awesome..
They were all great characters
I think kakeru really embodied what it's like to live with regrets. They all played their part in the series.

I just finished the series, and honestly I hate kakeru and its ironic why because i relate to him so much. I had problems with my family alot last year and it led me to dropout of highschool even planned to do it this year, but my friends were always there for me even if I just went on and ignore them they would just bust in my room and tell me Im being stupid. I honestly have the best of friends and I hate myself for taking them for granted. Now Im recovering and going back to school even though I am gonna repeat a year which sucks but this is my consequence. This anime thought me alot of stuff and this would forever change my life for the better thank you makers.❤️
I didn't understand why they didn't find him a psychologist since he was clearly suicidal and depressed... This isn't a situation teens should have to face.

Answer: in the main timeline kakeru is really dead,so they decided to send a letter to they're past selves to save kakeru,then in the second timeline where they actually saved kakeru was a new future and it became a dream in the main timeline
Note: in the new future where kakeru is alive,it's reality it's not just a dream,so kakeru is alive in the new future and dead in the main timeline,it has 2 diffrent future in this anime.

Can any one please explain the ending of the movie.I could not understand whether he would end up with kakero or suwa.
She ended up with kakeru in the main timeline. She ended up with suwa in the timeline kakeru died. So, basically the "dream" suwa and naho had wasn't really a dream. It was them seeing the results of the timeline where they save kakeru. To them it was a dream, but it was what actually happened in another timeline. Hope that helps and I wasn't too confusing.

This was the first anime I ever watched years ago and I binged it and cried sooo much

Tbh i had some problems with the anime but i also liked it still. The only reason why i have a small problem is because it felt like it was saying its okay to fall in love with a person who plans on dying on purpose. Its not. No one deserves that. You maybe can save them but its way more likely you will just end up broken and depressed like them. Naho kept sacrificing her feelings and denied her hurting continuously for Kakeru. This is why falling in love with someone when they are depressed and suicidal can not be done. Ive been on both sides of the situation. Ive been the suicidal one with friends around me who were worried. My friends began to become depressed too because of that. It wasnt my fault. Its not like i tried to do that like kakeru. But that doesnt change the fact that it still hurts everyone. When I was the one who was friends with a suicidal person thats actually how i became depressed in the first place. Ig it was just kinda triggering for me to watch as someone whos been on both sides of the situation.
She loved even before she knew about is past with is mother and the suicidal thing. The letter for me was just saying man up tell him your fellings. I think that wasnt enough as clearly stated in the anime because kakeru didint want for her to hate him thats why he was taken back a bit and that because he was depressed af and not because he didnt love her

Thanks for the review! But what does the ending in Orange Mirai (movie) mean? In the last minute of the movie, Naho receives a new letter.. And this is from timeline B to timeline C (the third timeline) right? In this third timeline Kakeru sends a letter to himself as well right? Or does this have another meaning? Maybe the meaning is that there is an endless loop? Can anyone explain please?
No, it’s Timeline B. In the movie, you see the bottle of letters float into the sea and get picked up at the beach. After that, it leads directly to the beginning of Orange. You would know it was Timeline C if they showed Kakeru receiving a letter instead.
The anime where I cried the most 🤧 I watched it in one sitting because it is soooo good! 🤧

I just watched this anime and i will give 6/10. This anime shows relatiionship between female protagonist and mc's bestfriend like that. In context, 70% of this anime is filled with female protagonist and other guy having baby rather than male protagonist.
Okay so like super random but like the whole anime i never cried (except for maybe tearing up when he tries to commit suicide) then right when the end credits played i just started bawling crying for no reason :) 10/10 great anime sbcqbfkjf

Why the hell the two parallel world has the same plot, I mean it should be like Naruto movie with infinite Tsukoyomi where Sasuka a playboy, Lee a pervert and Hinata and hoE, thats some parallel world shit!!! And tf she still regrets it? So she regrets marrying Suwa? have kid? This anime is messing with my mind, plus like I said,, they have no 'future' and 'past' self relationship, If they does tye future would change cause the guy lived SO STOP CALLING THEM YOUR PAST SELF IT IS NOT FFS..

Personally, I liked this anime. Not as much as others I've watched, but I wouldn't really say I'm indifferent to it. Honestly, the only thing that kind of "ruined"(not really) my experience was how much I disliked Naho. She was so cowardly and indecisive, always running away from things, and her friends had to do most of the stuff for her. Granted, she definitely got better at the near end, so I didn't dislike her as much, but I would be lying if I said I didn't want to punch her several times while watching.
Kakeru's character really hit close to home for me. Obviously his portrayal wasn't near perfect, but a lot of the things he said or did really reminded me of how I was earlier in my life.
Suwa was an absolute sweetheart. He was so supportive and willing to give his everything just so that his friends could be happy. Definitely my favorite character in the entire show. He was so likable, understanding, and overall a wonderful character.
I cried a l o t while watching this anime, and I had to lie in bed for a while after the ending. An 8/10. I wouldn't recommend it if you aren't a fan of shy, nervous protagonists, but if you don't mind that kind of thing, consider giving it a watch!

I personally think that the soundtrack was beautiful to listen to while reading the manga but…when i watched the anime, i didn’t really care about it too.

Even in the future if he never went in the evening night she would’ve thought of some thing else and in the present suwa knows that he stole her so he went and gave her some confidence
