Hey mate just picking your brain, putting down a blue Mountain lager booster pack 34/70 , what's a good pitching temperature and do you drop your temp straight to your 11 or 12 deg for your 12 days. Thanks Peter
Hi Peter, 34/70 is a flexible yeast. I recommend pitching as soon as possible once the temp hits 18C or lower.. . Yes I leave the beer ferment at 12C. Until finished. I naturally carbonate my legs whisk is above 18C so that cleans the beer up from any diacetyl Hope that helps. Cheers, Jay
