I bought one of these lowers from AU and did some research back then when I purchased it. They were produced for the Italian market and distributed by Prima Armi. AU got ahold of the overrun of stripped lowers and released a one time only deal if 150 stripped lowers. I wish I had purchased several of them as I am a Colt collector, but for some reason I only bought one. Congratulations on getting one as it is one of the most rare Colt factory marked lowers and will only increase in value.
Great find! The original Colt M4 Commando roll marked release we did was less than 300 units. We again have a limited quantity of SCW Carbine and M4 Commando laser engraved lowers from Colt, also one off releases but not the now discontinued roll mark method of engraving.
Great find indeed! I was issued a Colt m4 commando roll marked in 2015 from my LE department, it’s served me well for 9 yrs on patrol. I hope my department will let us purchase them when they’re phased out, minus a tax stamp. Keep up the awesome work!
That is so badass. I've actually been fortunate enough to have fired a couple hundred rounds through a real full auto Commando. An MP5 and an MP5SD were also on my list that got scratched off that day. So cool to see a semi auto Commando.
I have a Colt AR with the M4 Carbine rollmark and LE serial (not exactly rare) that I SBR'd that has a Colt HRT 11.5" barrel. Maybe not collectable but fun to shoot suppressed.
@@thetexasgunvaultbut are these laser marked as good as the roll marked one. I mean 9 hundred bucks for just a lower. Do you think there worth that much
Nice catch on the grail. GT Dist in Austin (now Pflugerville) I think had some M4 Commando’s (and Sig 556 SBR’s) back in the day. I messed up on not getting the Colt SBR Monolithic M4’s before CZ bought Colt. The 11.5 Colts are highly regarded for compactness and reliability.
Very nice, I actually have a Colt M4 commando 6933 in the factory box. On the factory box, it says M4 commando (blue label). But on the receiver, the role mark is designated M4. Colt definitely did some weird things. Nice video thanks.
My favorite M4 Commando build! Maybe one day I'll find a Commando lower. I'd build mine exactly like yours. The collector sickness is real, I'm after a Smith and Wesson K38 revolver with USAF markings that quadruple the value of the gun (my grandfather carried one while flying jets so I have to have the Air Force markings) Enjoy your M4 Commando! I'm jealous as hell honestly
Love your colt collection! I just bought the colt m4 commando complete upper. Was wondering does yours come with any markings on the barrel? ( mp 1/7 5.56) mine did not. Also what’s a good lower to match it with? Noticed my colt m4(LE6920 from 2013) doesn’t match in color. Plan on turning it into a ar pistol and want the top and bottom to match in color and material. Thanks in advance.
That is a freaking sweet a** SBR, I got an 11.5” 6933 stripped barrel I free floating under a 10.5” Geissele Mk4 handguard…looks and chutes great but I may build out a true 6933 upper with the fsp bscause I love how they look
The Texas Gun Vault: I wanna talk about how incredible and awesome my subcribers are. Me: You got a rifle, you got good count, you seem like you cook with such content... *Sub :P*
@@thetexasgunvault Glad to help :) I must ask, though. Is the classic stock any good? I'm sure you can add a textured stock pad, but is it worth it with or without a pad? Edit: The A2 Grip is aight for me since you can add a textured sleeve to it.
I've been seeing a lot of people get 80% lowers and engrave colt logos in them. Obviously the history is more important than the logo but if someone wants to do one for appearances without the history that's a cheap way to go
Sure, I am not interested as the only thing different is a couple of markings as they guns are required to be marked on the uppers and lower. All other parts are the same.
So is the 150 production number accurate? I have a lead on a complete Commando lower, but it's, well, very expensive. If there's any truth to the 150 then that'll take the sting out.
Can anyone tell me How could I find a m4 commando model like that?, and is it legal for it to have a stock and vertical grip? It’s one of my favorite firearms
You can buy it, but you have to live in a place where NFA firearms are legal. You can then either Form 1 a lower receiver into an SBR, or Form 4 it from a dealer. Any NFA dealer in your area could help you in the process.

Thank you for that information. I too wish I would have bought multiple ones when they were available.

Thank you! I wanted one of these when they first came out. I did not know how many there were originally. I am glad I got one of the original ones.
Love all your content. Keep up the great work! God bless you and your family.
Thank you so much!
Awesome roll mark, I agree with you it is hard to explain why I like it so much I just do. I hope to find a Colt with a similar roll mark.
I hope so too!
Nice! I was thinking of turning my first AR pistol into something like the commando.
11.5 inches is a great length.

During that time they also sold the piston carbine(LE6940P) marked lower. Bought one and still have it. Wish I would have bought the commando one.
That is awesome! I had no idea they made those too.

Those HRT uppers are neat.
Arms Unlimited, just got some Colt Commando complete lower receiver for $899 .
I just heard. I was wondering if they would ever bring them back.
@thetexasgunvault They are available right now .

It’s not really a sickness. You’ve got something very few people have. Good score 👍 Now I think I’d like a 6933😎
Thank you so much!
Your videos always fascinate me! I loved the story behind this build.
Thank you so much!

Good morning, Jason, well done, I actually like it, Cheers
Thank you Andrew. Even with the vertical foregrip?
Nice… you definitely deserve that lower… had I came in possession of this lower, I probably would’ve slapped a BCM upper and call it a day 😂👍
LOL! Thank you! I still hate myself for not buying one when they were cheaper and more available.
Yup that it awesome and I totally understand I have that same problem
I am glad to hear I am not the only one.
That is very nice. Enjoy it .
Thanks 👍
Finally. I was hoping you'd post your wild goose chase on the commando lower vid
I am glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much. That means a lot to me.
If you build from 80% lower blanks, you can have those markings engraved.
You can get them close, but legally, they can not be the same.
Brother... bottom line you have got some gems !!! :)
Thank you so much. I am humbled you think so.
Nice, looks good!
Thank you so much!

Yes, mine has markings. I am not sure why yours does not.

Nice 👍
Thank you!
Where can i purchasr the handguards with ability to mount the vertical grip for my colt M4 carbine 16 inch barrel? Thanks!
I would check the usual auction sites.

I' d like. to buy one
I hope you get one someday.

Yes and I have seen a few of those. The finishes never really look right to me.
lol no way man, that’s criminal!!
Wow! 👏🏼
I am glad you enjoyed it.
Yeah I passed on a stripped colt lower years ago when they were "cheap". Regret that.
Yeah, me too. I paid the price to get this one.
AU just got them back in stock today for the low low price of $900 SMH
I heard! I am glad they made them again.
Not knocking it. Aluminum 2 position buttstock,a1 grip with loophole, and tax stamp a moderator since you have the 11.5 get the grenade ring as well
Thank you and I know it could be a little better.
Great rifle I have always wanted a 6933. What year did Colt start using the Commando roll mark on their lowers?
These were made for a short period around 2018 I think.
A little off topic, but being the Colt enthusiast you are, do you have any input on the AU “European” Colts that were being sold?
Sure, I am not interested as the only thing different is a couple of markings as they guns are required to be marked on the uppers and lower. All other parts are the same.

I think so, but I can not confirm. I am sorry.
what is the diffrent between this and m733
Not much. The original M733 used burst instead of auto.
Sir can you help me that i can buy M4 rifle like yours?
I built this. The only option you have is to find one on the used market and build it yourself.
Can anyone tell me How could I find a m4 commando model like that?, and is it legal for it to have a stock and vertical grip? It’s one of my favorite firearms

What quad rail covers are those?
Knights Armament
Thank you
Sigh... I saw that too on arms unlimited and I passed on it as well. I did as well.....
I am glad I am not the only one who regretted it.
Sexiest carbine on earth. Ever. 🇨🇦❤️✊🏻
Thank you so much!
The pistol grip needs to go.
Why is that?
