Chill day yesterday and it felt nice to write by candlelight. Still loving my book and hoping to get it done soon! How are you doing so far??
i loved seeing this relaxed vid!! honestly, nanowrimo has been kinda difficult for me because I've gotten sick, and school is really busy T_T but im trying to write even a few hundred words per day and its ok if i dont "win", cuz ill still have a good starting point

Nice share sarra. Its good to have some colorful lights as they do definitely reflect chage of mood -colors are often associated with mood. Waiting on HB90 enrollment kickstart soon

Having a notebook closet is goals.
I got 2500 words today, which is (slowly but steadily) closing the gap between where I am and where I should be.
I have almost that same cart...and it's a mess too! I love the lighting. I should consider that. The ceiling light in my bedroom is so bright it almost burns my retinas. lol Which is why I rarely use it.

Great update. Happy to hear your progress. Love that lighting concept. I’ve gotten a little behind because of some long work days with a little negativity. So hopefully I can catch up this weekend as well as work on the print versions of my last seven book series. The ebooks have been out for a while, but I’ve been procrastinating finishing the print versions. Ugh. Go EVERYONE 🎉
D I love this smart light/message/music setup. This is new to me. Do you need a google nest in each room where you want this?
You don't technically need the Google nest at all for for the lights but it just allows you to activate it with your voice! I like having the nests because you can arrange a routine that involves multiple rooms.

Pretty rooms in your home! You’re so organized. I use my cart for my paint supplies and brushes instead of books. I’m more of an artist than writer. I do have a BA in English and Masters degree in computer education to teach elementary school awhile ago. What do you do with all your books after you finish reading them? We have a book library to donate books in our neighborhood.
Donate or take to the used book store to swap out for more! But I do keep a lot of my books if I loved them.

I forgot to ask...what lap desk are you using? It looks slim, which appeals to me. Sometimes the cushion is so bulky it's like writing on a pillow.
I’m way ahead in my word count, so I’m going through my story again because most of my story is from chatgpt and as a Christian I don’t want it to write my story for me so my actual word count so far is 9,779 out of 50,000 words and I’m taking a little break to do this
