It wasn't just poor girls, basically every woman and some men (punks, new wave, new romantics, grunge heads and goths I see you) who got into makeup before the mid 90's used a qtip to apply and smudge eyeshadow and eyeliner when the sponge tip is torn and you have fingers like gorillas.🤣

This is my night time routine too!
I’ve been using qtips since the 80’s! They used to be the only option back in the day but now I like that they’re disposable and work GREAT. I use brushes for application and qtips for clean up around my eyes and maybe some finish up blending.

Take a damp q-tip, dip it in glitter, then pat or roll onto your black eyeliner. Even on lid color but is spectacular on the liner.
