Yes!! I just turned 35 and also remember playing Sims 1 and Sims 2 on my family computer. When Sims 2 made it so your sims age up through stages I thought it was the most exciting thing in the world. I owe so much thanks to my poor dad who had to deal with all the installation issues each time there was an expansion pack - all while comforting his distraught and crying daughter who wanted to play NOW!! I still play Sims 4 and own all the expansion packs and have been inspired by Trixie to start a new play through. Sorry to my wife and daughter - MAMA'S BUSY!!!!
I was an avid Sims addict, until my roomie/bf turned me onto Second Life, and I've been there ever since. The idea was to be able to BE a sim, instead of watching them and orchestrating their events and lives. I couldn't resist that. But thank you to The Sims for leading to secondlife. I actually met my partner there ( they were the landlord of an island I was renting!) and we ended up meeting in RL and getting married (our 6th anniversary yesterday - Valentine's Day). Luv luv luv Trixie and continued massive success!!

I was in college when 1 and 2 came out. I was OBSESSED with 2! I made awesome places in Downtown like a retro diner, shopping center, and dance club! I loved University too. I bought 3 and 4 a few years ago but haven’t gotten to play much since I had a kid. I still listen to the 1 and 2 soundtracks. They slap.
I loved this! I'm not a regular viewer of Trixie's because I have almost no interest in the cosmetic side of RUclips. But I've casually enjoyed vids with her in them over the last couple of years because I love Trixie's personality.
