- So in today's video we try and get access to the Pakistan/India Wagah Border. I hope you guys have the popcorn ready as this is a long one! a whole 40 minutes.. not sure if this is my longest video to date but its right up there!
We also visited Butt Karahi one of Lahores most Iconic and Famous Karahi places, genuinely I have never in my life ever had a Karahi like that! So many different flavours, seeing the full process from being slaughtered to a fully cooked meal in front of us was a really good experience.
The food was fresh, wholesame with plenty of flavours! I rate both dishes a SOLID 10/10. A must try when and if you're in Lahore!

If you want to visit Wagah Border, the days to avoid would be the weekend because its extremely busy, there's a limited capacity in the stadium, and they ask for a protocol on busy days (Fri-Sun). Now a protocol is simply having your car reg and details being put on a list a day before your visit and you will get a protocol number which you need to provide when you arrive. Now it gets abit complicated because the only way you can get this arranged is through anyone who is in the army or rangers. Now how are tourists expected to know anyone in the Army/Rangers. Now tour companies can arrange this but they charge alot on money (more than 10,000pkr) considering the entry is absolutely free. So get there atleast 2 hours before and visit on a weekday and you'll have a greater chance of gaining entry.
