You guys do it every single time. Simply superb! I am a vegetarian, but I love watching all your videos and this one was just outstanding. It has become a tradition that I need to have a plate full of food while watching your videos. It is an absolute pleasure witnessing your love and passion for food!
The genuine friendship between you two is the absolute best part of all of this. Love it, make more! I'm absolutely loving this whole food tour series, please keep doing more of these! However it does also make me ridiculously hungry 😇
In the vibrant tapestry of Delhi's culinary heritage, Butter Chicken reigns supreme-an epic saga of tender poultry enveloped in a luxurious cloak of creamy, spice-infused richness, embodying centuries of flavor and tradition- thank you guys, memories relived! Love from Doha 🇶🇦 Qatar!
@thebigforker you guys have a great channel and quality content. I hope you guys don’t curse this much, it’s a food channel and being watched with families. I hope you guys consider this suggestion and mature up the content. We enjoy your content and looking forward for new videos.
My favourite butter chicke was from a small shack called Sanjaa in Bund Garden, Pune ... tonnes of absolutely great memories. It has to be a tandoori chicken which is deboned and then blended into the gravy for me and I prefer it with plain tandoori rotis :) Fabulous episode guys you brought back a tonne of memories
You guys are an awesome duo. Vivacious, fantastic content, humour in the videos. Rocky-Mayur and HOMP and the shows that followed featuring both of them were my go to shows. My limited observation from watching your videos makes me believe that you guys love Antony bourdain. It has that but of that 'chaap'. Nice to have new bunch of foodies dishing out content in their own inimitable way! Cheers guys! 🤟🤟🤟
Only Chef Saransh got it right. It's the invitation in Ashok Vihar, especially their boneless version, where they pull apart tandoori chicken so that every part is covered in that rich gravy. It pairs very well with the butter naan, which is garnished with dry coconut. Only true foodies of Delhi know the other two places, as they are not in tourist areas.
@thebigforker you guys have a great channel and quality content. I hope you guys don’t curse this much, it’s a food channel and being watched with families. I hope you guys consider this suggestion and mature up the content.
I’m 50 and have been having chicken all over Delhi . Both these at Panadra road have changed their butter chicken numerous times over a period . However both of them are not famous for butter chicken . Olsen says when they were small dhabas their desi chicken curry was the only thing they sold . The original butter chicken of Delhi remain Moti mahal / Jama Masjid road , old Delhi . However - one of the best chicken curries is - Rajender da dhaba next to the old Kamal cinema complex in Safdarjung enclave . Try it ! You will thank me . Cheers
The giant has good knowledge of food, meat with bones... identifies correct stuff and knows what would Delhi people like. Gentle giant (GG). Also these days cloud kitchens are making phenomenal bc , should try it some time.
Great video guys! The "yeeaaah" at around 4 min 24 secs sounds like lead singer and guitarist of Metallica, James Hetfield's "yeeaaah " he does while singing😂
Mr Bigforkers...can you do a segment for Biryani in Kolkata and Hyderbad like you did for Butter chicken in Delhi, with people listing their favourites at the end ?!! PLEASE !!
Did both of you tried all these butter chicken same day or was there a gap of a day or two ? If yes then doesnt it effect your judgement while rating since all the day you have been consuming the same food ?
But that's the idea na. Eat it all at the same time so you can objectively differ between them. Well that's what we went with and I think we did a fair comparison. Haina?
I m from Delhi and I never experienced butter chicken so closely but by watching your video I think and feel that Havemore butter chicken looks more tempting 😊
You guys are amazing good stuff, being a vegetarian would love videos on vegetarian food also although I have not seen all the content in the channel, will go through! Very nice video
Chicken Inn by a long mile. Wonderful citrusy undertone which cleans your palate with every morsel. Pity the forkers were so close and didnt try it out.😢
My best butter chicken is made by rando small chicken shop owners spread throughout Delhi-Karol Bagh, Paschim Vihar, Ashok Vihar, Rajouri Garden, Punjabi Bagh. All / any of them are mindblowing, Michelin-star-worthy butter chicken makers.
It's Mughal Mahal not Mughal Darbar Kunal Vijaykar and i absolutely agree that back in the day it used to be the best butter chicken in the world. I respect you more now

That sounds fun. Though we are trying to figure out the context of it. A food manifesto of sorts? or a scorching diatribe on food in general and what ails it?
The one you have to try - the only one comparable to Havemor is Pal Dhaba in Chandigarh. As someone who has been on many a quest to find a great one, that’s top tier.

Hey 👋 really enjoyed this episode! I am from Delhi .. you could have also tried “in the Punjab” by shalom. My favourite in Delhi! However, Havemore and Darya ganj must be very good too! Btw you thrashed all mumbai butter chickens 😅 including Goila’s 😂

George restaurant, pune! Seriously? I am eating george restaurant’s butter chicken as i write this while missing delhi’s butter chicken and watching delhi food vlogs.

Thanks for the lovely comment Rishil
For real bhai 😂
Exactly the same reaction I had eating Moti Mahal butter chicken, lmao. Invented the dish and then forgot how to cook.
So true...never going back to that place.
As a progressive Delhiite I have no problem with Shanky eating fried rice with butter chicken.
It's still a crime in some countries
I love fried rice with butter chicken 😊@@TheBigForkers
As a conservative Delhite i totally support eating fried rice with butter chicken
Love the banter in the comments
No one was eating this combination until Shanky mentioned it. Now all you guys have opinions on it. WTF?
The genuine friendship between you two is the absolute best part of all of this. Love it, make more! I'm absolutely loving this whole food tour series, please keep doing more of these! However it does also make me ridiculously hungry 😇
Sid and Shanky are first cousins
Thanks for the kind words

We are being us, but yes we too feel this is in the same vein as Bourdain.
The ultimate guide to Butter Chicken, they should make this part of culinary school curriculum. Minus of course the egg fried part of course 😀😀
Culinary schools may need to update their curriculum with a Butter Chicken guide, minus the egg fried part, of course!

We have to try it. Though the dry coconut has me worried
I am glad you guys are back.
Good to be creating content again
Saw this video 2 months ago in Germany. Finally having Havemore butter chicken and commenting from the restaurant. So so good!
Amazing!

Rajendra is no longer good. I'm 47 and Havemore and Pandara are the golden standard. Did you see the testimonials at the end of the video
@@TheBigForkers Agreed, Rajinder Da Dhabha's butter chicken is a diluted soupy mess. It isn't what it used to be years ago.
Love to see how honest they were about the food…
Cheers, only way we know how to do this

why some people say it was made in Delhi,
butter chicken = Moti Mahal = Peshawar.
Can we remove these Mumbaiwalas from this comparison?

havemore is the best. Way he explained Moti mahal was so true
Maybe its green tea and not soda 😅
Try baba butter chicken. Delhi/ludhiana Yellow butter chicken
Havemore Gang approves!! Fried rice and butter chicken is bomb. and if you want to get blown away try Veerji in naiwala market for their tawa meat.
We have heard about its legend. Next trip
Sinply love your style of vids.

Great list. Interested to know your two cents on UCH butter chicken which for me is a number 3 to Havemore and Gulati respectively.

Fair enough mate. The difference is tiny. Nostalgia is equally important.
Memories matter
Moti Mahal is also heavily franchised, it is possible you guys ordered from a franchisee who doesn't care as much. Just my two cents.
Quite possibly so. But that's a brand and quality management issue then.
