I don't get to keeps my hair, i'm as bald as Stubby
Baseball "fights" are so fucking embarrassing. 1 in 500 actually result in any kind of fight. The league needs to enforce these embarrassments like Hockey. Anyone that leaves the dugout or ball pen is suspended and the coach also gets suspended for a player leaving. Everyone complains about the length of the game. Well this just added unneeded time.
A bit disappointed there was no analysis about how a big strong guy couldn't get out of the way of an 83mph changeup.
@@CurtisBooksMusic or the fact that the HBP before the Nado incident was a 0-2 mistake by Cabrera that hit the dude on the foot 💀 Mets have no situational awareness to get tf out of the way, need to stop crowding the plate

I'm Stubby the Third!

Stubby clapp is actually a canadian baseball legend. Played for years in Olympics, pan Am games and other international comps, but somehow never made it to the show.
He absolutely did. Played for the Cardinals in the early aughts if memory serves.
He actually played 23 games for the Cardinals in 2001.
He's also known as the "Mayor of Memphis" because of how popular he was with the Redbirds.

Patting the ego and licking his wounds. What you get when you run into Stubby iii
Ahhhhhh Stubby Clapp. He was a legend at AAA Memphis, and the town absolutely loved this guy, so much that he was referred to as "The Mayor of Memphis." Awesome to see him take down such a "big strong guy."

Watching this again a day later, Gallegos, his wall flip and solo run to home plate still kills me. Beside Stubby, the relievers really deserve a shout-out lol, A+ content right there
I did not expect you to go through a minute of explaining how the Mets were tired of getting hit to then learn that the Cards started a fight after NOT getting hit.
They felt like they were missing out. That's why Arenado wanted the pitcher to try again
😂🤣🤗
The day before three cardinals got hit in a row I think. At least 2. But gotta love baseball.
You've gotta see the whole series to know the full story. Five Mets batters got hit in that series, but four Cardinals batters got hit as well, so tensions were already high. Then they purposely through at Arenado's head, so yeah, he took exception to that.
Cardinals are a dirty organization
All the Cardinals players in the bullpen running down the ramp single-file only to get jam packed at the door followed by the one guy just hopping the fence and booking it down the field had me in tears.
best part was the camera operator focusing on the only guy who got out instead of the logjam, the action was on the field and it was the one guy lol
Straight up Cardinals move right there..
MLB: "We want to make games faster"
Also MLB: "Every time someone gets hit by a pitch lets wait 10 minutes for the bullpen pitchers to get back to the bullpen after they ran all the way out to the infield and by the time they got there the brawl was over"
Yea bruv that’s part of the game. If you don’t have time to watch because you have to get to your daughter’s recital that’s your problem ya fukken 🦃
Ok, kind of agree with this one. Support your teammates, but come on. You weren’t even there.
Bullpen has to come out. It’s part of the game.
What brawl? In hockey, they brawl. In baseball "get togethers", they mingle.
Except the players don’t give two shits about the game being faster.

Pete "BSG" Alonso
The absolute undisputed GOAT of breakdowns
It's not even a debate.
Top tier but there is a few better ones in my humble opinion
If Jomboy was emotionally unstable, he’d have the best nervous breakdowns.
A great one, yes. Best superimposed Jomboy face, for sure. But Joe Kelly throwing at Correa is the Hamlet of breakdowns. Starring Joe Kelly as Hamlet. A masterpiece!

Jomboy Alonso isn't real. Jomboy Alonso can't hurt you.
Some of your finest work Jomboy. Who else would have thought about what was happening with the bullpens, and you caught the hilarious logjam and the fence hop. Internet gold!
The time you put into editing these elevates them from good to masterful comedy, love it
When it comes to baseball brawls, pitchers running out of the bullpen to home plate are always some of the best parts 🤣
Just once could they stay behind the wall and fire warmup balls into the fray like medieval archers?

@@bigploppa154 lul. yeah, the 5'8" 49 year old first base coach was CLEARLY trying his hardest with "intent to injure" the 6'3" Big Strong Guy. he definitely wasn't just trying to pull the Big Strong Guy (the one with the biggest reason to want to hurt a Cardinal after getting hit in the head) away from his players. that's why you see him throwing punches and going for the choke out, not wrapping him up in a bear hug.

The breakdown doesn’t mention Buck Showalter’s savage post game interview. When asked if he thought Arenado was out of line he said “I’ll let them handle their players, I know mine got hit in the head and went to first base”.
Lying is so savage
Showalter is a clown
Doesn't Showalter lead the MLB as the active coach with most bench clearing brawls? Doesn't sound like he has thick skin.
Arenado wasn't hit, so he can't go to first base. And don't suggest he's supposed to get back in the box and wait for the headhunting prick to take another shot at him.
@@Windjammer19 What are you talking about? Buck Showalter is the manager of the Mets, he was talking about Pete Alonso getting hit in the head earlier, which was one of the things which started this whole mess.

Cope dude
He was bear hugged from behind and pulled down by two people. Wtf are you talking about?
Cardinals hit two players and then the moment Arenado has a pitch that’s high and inside he throws a temper tantrum, glad you can only focus on that out of this entire 6 and a half minute video

@@josereyes1148 Me? You should be asking Alonso that same question...he is the one talking about putting people in the hospital. I'm just enjoying another breakdown, Alonso is the one overcompensating for getting manhandled by Stubby.
Hahahahaha the keeps ad at the end was pure genius.
One thing that wasn’t mentioned was in the second inning Brandon Nimmo had a pitch incredibly high and tight, and both he and Alonso just shook those pitches off and either continued the at bat or went to first base. Arenado just whines about being brushed back by his own accord and caused the benches to clear.
not to mention had the pitch actually hit him lower he would have still had a similar reaction as history has shown him overreacting then as well. a high and tight chin music was the best case scenario as nobody got hit and possibly hurt but sends a message and boom beef settled but Nolan of course wanted to make the show about him XD. Cards are a great organization and know its part of the game considering what had already happened and it was obvious when the team rushed Nolan instead of the pitcher and his comments postgame that the message was dont make this worst stupid ... fast forward to this past Sunday with Schwarber and the Phils and same exact situation happened but no bench clearing or over dramatization and it really makes Nolans tirade look childish
