We've finally reached a point where people around this world are testing the limits of what the instruments they grew up with are capable of. Record everything, even if we can't figure out where it goes or what it represents, scream it out to the stars... Music might be what outlives us all. It's the language that doesn't need to be explained. It just needs to be felt.
Nothing better for a frustrated musician than to play it out to the stars 😆 I've always believed something is "recording" all of it...
Fuck yeah. I can’t play anything but this makes me want to try again.
All musical instruments around the world are awesome.
@BYRRD not necessarily in this way. Metal.
You are so right. I use a pedal board through a microphone on my acoustic violin
So awesome! First Mongolian metal and now this. I need more traditional Asian instruments mixed with metal music in my life.
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
So do I 🤘💯
Search and listen to the song The Color Out Of Space...really good asian metal.
Well if you don't already know them I recommend Bloodywood. Nice mix of indian music with metal.

Beautiful. I love how the Internet has brought so many parts of the world together to share. Music transcends time, and the Internet transcends borders.
This is a treat! I would REALLY like to see her colab with The HU. Their Mongolian throat singing-meets-metal is AMAZING!

From Celtic to Slavic, Scandinavian to Middle Eastern, Polynesian to Asian, there are so many beautiful cultures bringing metal into their wonderful music, and I love it! Keep up the amazing work!!! :)
It is great. Sadly rock and metal have gone underground here in the US, so it is wonderful to see its evolution with other music traditions.

I would reccoment some bands like Waggaki band and things like celtic metal and viking metal. So many cultures are doing their own take on metal these days. Also there was a band from Singapore I think called Seraphim.

I think this is great! I'm from the western part of the US where there are wide-open spaces, horses running wild, a big sky, and people of strong spirit. I know that this music comes from a land on the other side of the world from me, but I connect with it immediately and it reminds me of home in the American west. It makes me realize that there are probably big skies and strong spirits all over this world.
Check out Wayfarer if you haven't already!
Yes. It also reinforces something I concluded when visiting China (I'm Aussie, so Western Culture) - no matter what culture we are, we are all human, and there will always be some things that work the same.

The minor pentatonic scale is the secret to good music. Metal is based on the blues, and blues is based on a mix of african and celtic folk styles, and both are based on the minor pentatonic scale, because that is the secret to good music, and lots of other folk musics use it for that reason. Truth! Fully appreciate the traditions of your cultures! Sadly here in the US we are like lost sheep told to make our own way with little history that we can be proud of. I find myself drawn to the traditions of your many cultures but the music with our modern songs adapted to your instruments makes me feel most at home. Wow, I can't even put in words the feeling in this. It sounds so heavy, then like a Western, and so fun. Indeed we are at a turning point where folk metal is the way. As of the turn of the decade, we have had folk metal, doom metal, medieval metal, and a few others just come out and hit hard. I'm super excited that THIS is where music is going and bridging the gaps that has left many separated. Thank you for your music as well!
