her fit is on point...awesome looks and awesome music...cant be better than that. 3 minutes in and i'm stoked...she can perform and play also alternating the hands in the same "phrase" without losing track or missing any note...one can easily see the talent, the effort on countess rehearsals and the mastery of the instrument she is playing...this is absolutely amazing. ill try to strive to be ike her on the things i do lol
If the original is a stormy night, this version is a downpour in the afternoon. Beautiful
This is amazing! I expected just the lead guitar, but she did the bass, rythm, percussion, and vocals! Definitely a master of your craft
On my walls i have acoustic guitars. I have a piano, i am an old 59 fellow, i have been lucky enough to enjoy playing music all my life. This amazing woman puts me in the shade. This ability is something else. I am a beginner compared to this.
Wow, I cannot imagine someone playing the old hard rock songs I used to listen to and hearing it like this. I am so very impressed. Your skill is so very overwhelming. Please forgive to mention your beauty with your skills.
Do you ever watch someone play an instrument, or do anything with such incredible skill that you have to sit back and go "wow... I've done literally nothing with my life" 😂
But - you lived to watch this! [And I'm sure you are being modest anyway....]
Im not sure if i should laugh or cry at that statement, but yeah!
Everyone has a skill. I can't play an instrument to save my life. I'm a chiller mechanic and I've been able to troubleshoot a 1000 ton chiller and get a building full of people cooling without there knowledge of the emergency that was transpiring in an unseen mechanical room. I consider that my special power😊
Every day of my life.
Yup.
I’ve never heard of this instrument before. And to hear Thunderstruck on it … awesome! This was amazing. I can’t imagine the practice and skill it took to perform this. Excellence is all I can say about this.
It's called a Guzheng, it really is an incredible but difficult instrument to master. In Japan there is also a similar instrument that derived from the Guzheng and it's called the Koto. Super cool!
@@MagnificentPez Korea has a similar one as well the I believe its a Gayageum or Gagayeum, they are zither instruments I believe India ha a version too
I only know what this instrument is because it exists as a weapon in Enter the Gungeon (renamed the "Gunzheng")
You literally blow my mind with those lightning fast slender fingers of yours. Bravo, what a talent. ❤
To be honest I was expecting something funny, exocitc and minimalist maybe. But this is gorgeous, brilliant, amazing, incredibly musical, sharp performance, original and virtuous. ❤Thank you. I'll share. Believe me. 😊

Holy moly ~ one woman band! I can’t imagine all the discipline it took to develop this skill, and the passion and heart needed for fuel. Bravo, amazing human! 🌟
I really love how she uses the whole instrument, like in August Rush ~ just too awesome!!! In fact, I was enjoying watching her hands move so much that it wasn’t till the very end of the video that I realized she had a face mask (literally) on~ absolutely mesmerizing!❤
Love that movie. I agree completely.
I came here from a reddit post. I wanted to ensure my thumbs up and admiration was placed on the original content. Well done Moyun!
Handdrumming, baseline, rhythm, and melody on one guzheng. In the first verse, it didn't even feel like the rhythm got interrupted by the melody, as it sometimes does to make playing rhythm and melody together on a single instrument work. Amazing playing.
What she is playing in the video is not the original sound.
@@n3harb source?
@@Wolf-wh3qp watch the video, it’s offsync a lot of times. Also when she hits to make a handdrum sound the sound is always consistent if she uses her fingertips, knuckles, or palm. It doesn’t work like that.
It’s still a great performance though. She probably did everything in parts and stitched them together
@@n3harb Yeah I think you're right.
Lead: Check, Rhythm: Check, Bass: Check, Percussion: Check, God level skill: Check!!!
And looking good doing it.
literally none of what she did was even remotely accurate. she played the wrong notes and used the wrong note structures through the entire thing. not to mention that trying to play staccato notes as pizzicato inherently sounds like shit. shes also playing at the wrong BPM, sounds like around 100 as opposed to the 134 of the actual song.
@@FingerinUrDaughter Post your video playing it.
@@FingerinUrDaughter Literally don't know what your talking about. I just enjoyed listening to it.
@@rossjamestobitt playing the literal easiest song ever that has a grand total of 3 note patterns through the entire song? why would i waste my time?
This is amazing. Hearing a song from my HS years played on a Chinese instrument. It's just absolutely incredible. If we do more of this and less war and fighting, we might just make it. If not, we're doomed. Cheers from America.
WOW! There are no words in any language that describe how incredibly talented you are. I mean, this is what I want to hear when I pass on from this life. I listened to your most recently posted, Pachelbel Cannon in D Major and thought that was exquisite. I really enjoy what you do. I can also appreciate the work you put into this. I know how difficult it is to be perfect. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Oh my god I couldn’t take my eyes off this. That song is amazing normally but this took it to another level. One person doing it all so beautifully on an instrument I’d never seen before
Also With grace and Form as well.
Same reaction - I've never seen or heard of this instrument, but what a beautiful and versatile musical tool, and terrific track selection to pair with it. Will be watching more of her videos for sure!
That's a guzheng. It's kinda like a zither.
@@jonathanmoh I don’t know what a zither is either
@@rychbrind8299 it looks something like this in the video below. What you see in this video is the Chinese zither (guzheng). Apparently Dolly Parton can play the zither too. Hers is the European version.

Okay, musically this is amazing and very impressive, but also stylistically with that outfit with the harness over the traditional dress and the mask made to look like a doll face you look like a Cyberpunk character ripped straight out of the universe. It's a very striking look, and very interesting!
That's just speechless, a performance I would love to see in person, a visual acoustic sensory overload. Thank you so very much. ✌️🙏
MoYun - this was amazing. You're very talented and you make it all look so easy - a true testament to hard work, dedication and years' of practice. One of the best AC/DC songs and one of the best versions too.
As an old rocker I had no idea what to expect and was so very pleasantly surprised by this rendition, unusual and I really liked it, thank you Moyan for this and the pleasure of listening once again to your mad talents! Cheers from BC Canada!
Anyone notice, how smoothly she threw her piece away at 1:03? That was pretty cool and only noticed upon watching many times
No I didn't. But now you mention it.
What! I saw it the first time ! Back in the box. Lol.
What tripped me up was the quick right hand thumb 1:13, had to go back and watch it again at half speed
Only saw it because I was reading your message at the time😃
Oh now U mention it, yeah that was cool AF

I absolutely love her performance of this! My favorite of her videos!
Random suggestions can be the best of all. This isn't hand eye coordination. This is pure genius. It's absolutely brilliant.
The coordination here is just on an epic level! Even her drumming is great. She's amazing! That's all there is to say.
wow
Amen
The instrument you were playing is fascinating!!! Watching you play it so masterfully is just amazing!!! Beautifully done!!!!
GENIUS 😎
Your rendition of Thunderstruck is exciting 👍
Thank you❤
you can tell when someone is having a ton of fun playing their instrument. the bobbing and rocking with the beat was just much fun on this end. one of my new favorite covers of any song ever!
I clicked out of curiosity and couldn't stop watching. Truly talented!
Me too!
Same
I love this take on a classic, love your style and the mask too.
this is no joke one of the coolest things I have ever seen and one fo the most impressive things I have ever heard. Also super dig your persona. Just wow.
A complete and truly talented musician! It is extremely complex to perform a cover of this song with the guzheng! Really, really, really brava! 🏆
Very talented, yes. But what we are also seeing and hearing is countless hours of disciplined devotion to the craft. Wonderful.
I would have never thought of using the tuning wrench to change the pitch of the string while playing... Genius!
Loved this. Thanks for sharing.
This is why I've become a RUclips addict. And hats off to AC/DC for the creation of the original. Do you think they ever had any idea their song would produce some of the best covers ever seen anywhere? I would love to know more about the instrument used here.......thank you Moyun, you made me smile today
Well I like all AC DC radio songs but the early years are still my favorite and thay did use bag pipes in one of my favorite songs
It's one of those songs that just sounds like it is supposed to exist. Like it was just plucked from the Ether. Can you imagine a world without it?
Das ist eine ganz phantastische Arbeit.
Wunderbar.
Respekt!!!
Mixing classic instrument with classic piece is AMAZING!!
How is nobody talking about how absolutely awesome her outfit is.
The mask is just 👌 cherry on top
I actually think it's a bit weird
@@millennium2100 English isn't your first language, is it?
Absolutely brilliant. I love the way it wasn't merely a cover of the original, but her own embellishment.
@Timothy Mckee then wtf is it, her original song?
@Timothy Mckee Uh, yeah, it's not AC/DC... that would be a different video.
That's like saying a leaf is a bastardization of a rock. They are just different things altogether.
Incredible.. I got tears in my eyes about this passion.. An old man says Thank You for this piece of art!
Isn't amazing how a piece of music can completely turn your mood around? I was so down, and this vid got me so fired up. Thank you for your beautiful art!
The best part of this (besides her absolutely killer rendition of a rock classic) is imagining how many times she might have listened to the original AC/DC song (Yes, I know she based this on a guitar adaptation by Luca Stricagnoli) to get the real flavor of what she was playing. Having that song as a permanent resident in your head could lead to some interesting life experiences.
I am a big fan of AC DC and I also like acoustical music but I never would have thought an acoustical version of this song would work. I was SO wrong. That was amazing.
You should check out 2cellos cover of the song!
Acoustic I wasn't surprised by. Making it work without drums is impressive.
You should check out Hayseed Dixie. A bluegrass band that covers the Lads from Down Under. Turns out Highway to Hell was written for the mandolin
I don't care what anybody says, this it great stuff lady! Keep up the good work! Thank you for taking the time to share this with the world and i hope a lot of people check this out.
I love the pitchbend with the tuning key, its very clever !
Not only is she playing extremely well but also tuning it multiple times at the same time
She did not tune it while she was playing, she was using it to change the sound of the string while playing, like a wammy bar on a guitar.
Well RUclips dropped this suggestion to me out of the blue and I must say well done! Loved this video and your version of a song I've enjoyed for years. Much respect for your wonderful talent.
Same situation here, and it is indeed Good stuff.
@@williamjosephburns1504 I agree!!! It's awesome!!!!
Not only is that an amazingly creative interpretation of a great Rock song but I just love the part where she opens the storage compartment on the Right, put the tuning tool in it, and slams the door in rhythm to the song. so great!
I think she actually tossed the tuner away. It never went in the box.
Incredible skill! Excellent cover and instant sub!
墨韵小姐姐,妳這身打扮,還有古箏,這整個畫面,搬到法國,德國,西班牙,這些歐洲老牌國家的大城市街頭表演,基本已經無敵了!這種演奏方式已經達到了一個新的高度!

Thousands of hours of work and dedication all culminating in one of the single most impressive covers I've ever heard. Sometimes I can't even see you plucking the strings in-between the percussion. True mastery on display

Amazing job.
Fantastic job!
You are singlehandedly bringing this traditional instrument into the modern world. People will look back to your influence as the one that inspired to take the instrument to new heights.
