Economic circumstances doesn’t automatically mean a person can’t be a good person because they didn’t get a lot of love and attention growing up. Being a loving person doesn’t mean you don’t boss up when you feel your being taken advantage of, a lot of times you don’t really know a bad person or situation until your in it.

I was raised on survival and saw alot of pain early. It wasnt until I got away from my environment and healed by reflecting and feeling that pain. Allowing my heart to open instead of blocking that energy. It hurts so much but it is well worth it once you get to the other side. When I was empty I always kept away from others because I did not want to hurt others. People always wonder why I was to myself it was because I didnt feel like myself. We really have to put in the work and heal so we can love properly.
@@antmanworld It took me a long time to learn the difference between the 2 but now that I have, I'm able to guard my heart more effectively. I no longer feel bad when it's time to distance myself from and/or remove a toxic person from my life. I have to take care of me & my well being 1st & foremost. Not everyone lives by "treat everyone the way you wish to be treated" and that's a shame, in my opinion. Its so easy to do and we wouldn't hurt one another no where near as much if we all genuinely lived by that. I came from a broken home but still have an abundance of love to give. There are entrepreneurs that came from the dirt. Make wise decisions but don’t categorize.
You must never discount the root. But consider the fruit it bears. The cactus comes to mind. The cactus bears beautiful flowers, but is prickly when it bears its fruit. Pay not only to the root but the fruit it bears.
Oh this is so wrong!! I was raised on survival because my mom was too busy and struggled mentally to be able to raise me off love. When we were raised in poverty & barely getting by some of us appreciate and value life more and want to give more to others. To think someone raised on survival is an opportunist is very shallow. I am a survivor and determined woman that made it by God’s strength. I will not be a product of the environment that raised me but influence my environment.
Yes! I see myself raised on survival because every day was full of put downs and hurt and abuse ,mental ,emotional and sometimes physical and yet I try to lift others up and encourage them to keep going Most of us who have know real ,true pain and fear We don’t want anyone to know what that’s like ,we survived it and we wants others to to We want to help ! Not hurt ! We want to be better not bitter . WTH is this ?
