Final Destination 2 is without a question the best.
Why? Because at least two generations are absolutely terrified of driving behind a logging truck.

The first Final Destination is by far the best one. I love the second and like the third one, but there was so much more of a mystery to it, you really felt terrified over the idea of death haunting you. There are still some comical deaths of course, but they have such a huge impact since they are so elaborate and just no-holds-barred cruel. And who doesn't love Alex Browning and Clear Rivers? They were so great together.
The fifth is decent, the fourth one suuuuuuuuuucks.

I've never seen a final destination at its fullest because I've only ever seen clips and one death and thought it was too much for me. It seems to be a loved franchise though and I can respect that people love it. Is it bad that I read It as Alex drowning?
I didn't even know they made that many sequels.

Death Note is my favorite anime. It's so elaborate and the plot is so concise that it makes it one of the best psychopath tv shows I've ever seen. But yeah, last episodes aren't that great.

The fact that movies like this keep getting cranked out is the reason why movies like It Comes At Night don't succeed.

The reason movies like It Comes At Night don't succeed is because they're made for pretentious wannabe hipsters and lie to normal audiences in the advertisements because they know people wont go see a boring artsy "ohhh interpret me I'm so special and deep" movie.

The first Final Destination (2000) was my favorite, because it was a fresh concept at the time and it made me check my surroundings when I got home. I think it caused my OCD. lol

Jeremy's impressions are actually REALLY good.
A horrible person, having the ability to exchange the lives of others for wishes, sounds like a interesting premise. It's a shame the movie sucks.
If I were to pick at least one movie or stage play that executes the premise well (where our protagonist makes a deal with the Devil and considers killing people, so he can acquire whatever fame/fortune/woman he desires), "Little Shop of Horrors" is the first one to come to mind, especially with the 1986 movie's original ending.
I loved the Once Upon a Time reference there! You've mentioned it a few times before and I don't know if you keep up with it or gave up on it but I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on Once as you mentioning Robert Carlyle was in it a while back was what made me watch it!
