Buzzing Around Europe-A rainy day in France and a low speed roundabout.

I’ve been dragging my feet once in a while feeling the grip of the road through Ireland, Scotland, and now, France. When it drizzles I’ve put my feet down and had them just slide, sometimes even when I’m stopped. Roads here can be slick. I guess that’s what happened in this rainy roundabout. Just made the last turn, middle of the lane, straitened up, gently accelerating and over we went. Couldn’t have been doing faster that 30 mph and we slid 30-40 feet.
All ok. I’ve got a sore right knee. Going to be a good bruise. Michelle must have whacked her left elbow in the fall. Rain gears has a few small tears. My steel toe boot has some ripped stitches. Bike has some more character but cranked right up.

Those injuries will hurt more the second day! Glad nothing too serious and you're able to ride away.. That European rain is extra slippery!
