the car has decent ground clearance because internationally the ignis is a compact crossover with 4wd and can do light offroading.

Ignis is an excellent car really under appreciated by the people. I've been using it since two years it's a fabulously comfortable car
Most happy with my ignis as well.
We also planning to buy ignis alpha manual do you recommend it
@@Slowedvibes-w4n I'd recommend you to wait for a facelift if you can, personally I don't like it's current interiors, and a facelift would solve that.

Same feeling. Between i10 grand, tiago, Ignis booked Ignis as we liked the new look of SUV crossover. Initially booked Delta then switched to Zeta after a lot of trouble since the sales guy was probably missing on month target as Decided to change the version after 1st April. I am glad I did go for the upgrade.
I am at learner stage.. which should i buy among tiago/ nios i 10 / ignis??
@@MoumitaDas-fz3gp Tiago is safest and most fuel efficient. Also if u would be driving majorly on good roads dont need much ground clearance. Ignis is the next better option with distinct look, smoother engine. Reliability of Suzuki. No issue for spares no matter where you are plus mostly on discount and u can get good bargain. Nios is bit more Powerful but then depends on ur need. Considering safety n Fuel cost Tiago is good value else u may also go for Tigor CNG.
Hi im planning to book ignis zeta amt.
I'm very curious why ignis does not sell much even after being higher build quality and ground clearance than swift.
Any comments?
@@Ram_i_ Many dont like the rear look of the car. But I needed better ground clearance and a bit muscular look which I get in Ignis.
@@ssamburle thanks I don't care about the back look that much
Concise and comprehensive review by the owner. Totally enjoyed it!
I am also Ignis Owner and i have a Sigma model. I love the car as you said its great in the city. But in Highway if you are within 100 Kmph you will have the confidence on steering. Yes coming to the mileage I push the car to the limit and still its giving me approx 17 in City and 18 18.5 on Highway for petrol. This mileage i am talking about if you are consistently around 100-110.
Very innovative set of questions to end users ,very informative 👍
Whatever this person spoke about the service, it really matches with mine. We have one Alto and one Ford EcoSport. Service cost of Alto has been always way higher than that of Ecosport. Every time, we go for the servicing of Alto, we end up paying ₹8000- ₹10000 on an average. Inflated billing and costly parts are serious issues of Maruti service.
I bought the Ignis Zeta Petrol in Sep 2018. It was not even on my short list then. Just by chance i happened to sit in one at Nexa.
The quality, the dashboard style, seating comfort and position all stood out and instantly made up my mind to buy one.
This is my fifth Maruti car. 800 (1984), MH410 ( 1997) , Swift Dzire Diesel (2013), Gypsy King (2016) and trust me the Ignis has been a really joyful car.
The slightly stiff suspension setup is very good for long fatigue free highway trips. Great seats that give excellent under thigh support.
Great transmission and very reponsive 4 cylinder 1.2 Litre engine. Very good quality rubber parts, hoses etc.
Till date I have done 40000 km and have only changed the left front viper. No need of wheel alignment, but wheel balancing and rotation a must during every service. New aircleaner element at every service.
Using Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil. The engine at idle is almost inaudible.
Regularly returns 15-17 kms/lit in the city. 22-24 km/lit on the highway. Full tank to full tank method.
Thank you for the review, Motoroctane.
It’s ironic that one of the best cars from MUL remains largely unsung.
great thigh support?maybe for front passengers and not so tall people
Works for me. To each his own. Want bucket seats for all ? Pls look at a different car.
What is a good speed at the highway to get this mileage?
@subhasarkar8823 - around 80km/hr. Mileage also depends on the general condition of the car, using a good fully synthetic engine oil of the recommended grade, wheel balance and alignment, driving style etc
Yeh person ak baat sahi bola.. reliable of Maruti..trusted..Maruti never go wrong with the petrol engine.. humble person

I bought my Ignis Zeta AMT last year and its been around 10 months and drove around 5000 km. And what he said is all true except the steering response the new Ignis has better steering response which i felt. My first choice was Tata Tiago but as he said customer satisfaction is below avg which even i had the same experience, so that's why i bought Ignis and i m happy with the car.

Even I have completed 44,000 km on my feb 2018 Ignis.
This review is perfect.
I just want to add one more negative point, the suspension is very hard & harsh. With this kind of light body and suspension, ride at speed breakers & potholes is like tractor.
The suspension is not like tractor cars .
@Azack I won't say better but softer. If you mostly drive through uneven roads & hard speed breakers, swift will be little more comfortable.

@@jackzhimo6460 yeah so definately go for AMT no issues and I have driven the manual cars also , so I can say amt is peace of mind and no hassle of shifting gears, and it will take sometime to get used to but when you get it it's really soo good. And for the price it's definitely worth buying 😊
I am very impressed with his review because I changed my decision to buy this car and I'll go for good highway driving car like polo base variant or Altroz
Plz upload a video on (new 2021 renault triber)
I also owned Ignis Delta 2018 model and this is my first car. I loved it and Ignis gives you more confidence while driving. I drive 750 km recently with only 2 breaks but not feel tired or any foot issues during lockdown. Normally I drive 100 to 120 km in highway and found no problem at this speed. Further In Summer, AC also good and chilled quickly due to compact Car. While purchasing Ignis, I also checked Tiago, Swift, Celerio, Grand I10 but found Ignis good car in respect of look, power, budget, safety and Nexa premium brand. It's has good NCAP rating better than Swift, I10, Nios so just go for it, u will love it👍
Bro I hope you will replay me ...I have to plan buy a car...in my list two cars swift vxi amt or Ignis zeta amt....wich one better ... please give ur valuable replay ...thanks
I simply love this car ignis ❤️
I purchased this car thinking the service charges will be low compared to other manufacturers, last week I had taken for 2nd paid service that’s for 30k km for a 2019 nov zeta model (it costed me 11k change without any additional fittings also I had canceled wheel balancing / alignment) that day I felt I would have gone with Hyundai i20 . I feel nexa has to relook into the costing.
You have to learn a few things about servicing. Maruti is now scamming it's customers coz they know many maruti customers are not that knoweledgeable about cars.

Yes his cons is 100% right. Also I want add clutch has become hard in 25000km only, they try to loot at the time of servicing. Cost me around 7000 without engine oil change.
If you have 50% of your drive on highway don't go for it

Front seat is comfortable.
Good for good height person.
Steering is light for city drive.

Maruti Suzuki IGNIS owner review and opinions are very helpful...thank you
All authorized service centers of any car brand have fixed costs of labor, parts and other inputs. Being large organizations, they correctly charge all taxes like GST etc. No kuccha bill or without bill work as in other local garages or shops.
So pricing works out to be higher.
Also , all of them try to get extra work done during servicing because of higher margins. But , if you are careful and properly instruct the service staff, they will not do extra work against your wishes.
One good ( or bad depending on viewpoint) is that Maruti uses many common parts and components across all its models. So spares are easily available and cost of replacement is low and reasonable.
Every maruti suzuki buyer says that build quality is so poor but they buys such cars 😲🤔😔😔
Practicality when some owns something then he can tell the prons. & cons. For middle-class who drives alot can't bear like volkswagon. Gadi own karneke bd or even hyundai ki avag. Jhelne ke bd pata chalra hai mujhe why maruti ruling the Indian market.😅😂😂😂
Mileage Engine aur Service easily ho jati hai , isiliye log MS ko prefer krte hai . Pr dheere dheere log Safer cars le rhe hai
Actually some peeps buy such cars coz of their budget and compact. See if a person is coming from an alto, and he wants a small upgrade but dont have a lot of buget to spend. So this car is recommended, it has 3 star rating and car is compact.
its all about resale value , service comfort , cheap parts and haa milage 😂

He is 100% correct with the issues mentioned. The steering vibrates too much when you take it beyond 100kmph. Since there are no rear ac vents, passengers at the back feel the heat in hot weather and then we all know the story of Maruti and build quality. Well coming to the positives....the gearbox is very smooth and ohh the engine....it is so silent...plus..the suspension...I think it is the very best in its class...perfomes very good on bad roads....I was a ignis alpha owner till last year when I upgraded to kicks...❤️
A city car of this class is anyway not to be driven at sustained triple digit speeds, especially under Indian road conditions.
In the updated 2020 Ignis, the steering system is improved.
