And we survive another year. 2060 chads we keep winning
🤣
Hell yeah, bro
Based
2060 gang
yes
FSR medium definitely seems like the move for this one fellow 2060 users.
Edit: the game doesnt often hit 60 FPS at low settings with FSR. Usually around like 40-45. Definitely not spectacular
better than i expected
Good news for the RTX 2060, which I also own. The minimum configuration indicated by Bethesda was a GTX 1070ti, which is roughly the same quality as an RTX 2060, so I was worried... now I'm reassured.
It's his CPU that's doing the heavy lifting here mate, unless you also have a i9 12900k I wouldn't get too excited.
indeed I have a ryzen 5 5600, it will be less good@@brucevandermescht6957
Yeah I have an i5 11th gen with the 2060. I promise you it is not running as well as this. It's playable, but not like this.
@@wholesomejeff3919is a i9 10885H good enough? I have no idea. What came with my laptop. My RTX is the 2060 Q Max though so that's a bit less power there I know.
@@brucevandermescht6957This. I got a 2060 paired with a 5600X and can barely get 30 fps at lowest settings, with constant drops to the 10s mark.
just a disclaimer, this guy's cpu is carrying his gpu due to the fact newer games are offloading more and more of the workload to the cpu nowadays due to devs adding fancy features such a lumen, etc. your mileage will most likely vary drastically... I have a 2060 super with an i9 9700k (practically the best cpu my mobo can use) and i will probably be struggling to keep my head above 60 fps... would help if the game was actually optimized to an acceptable degree though.
How are you getting 50-60 fps? I have the same build but it stays at 35-45. Are you playing on steam? Usually I do but I thought I’d try it on the Xbox app first. Most games on there are quite well Optimised than they use to be. Found most perform the same on Xbox and steam. I still use steam most of the time tho.
But then again I got jedi survivor on launch, couldn’t get past 45 fps, and now I can play on high settings above 60 with no issues so, who knows if it’s the game, platform or the fact it’s just a demanding game in general
BEAST GPU
2060 is still a great card even for modern games if you don't care about fps that much. I play almost all my games on my 2060 at medium to max settings and cap the fps at 40.
A pretty good balance between visual and framerate. The 40fps cap guaranteed that i will atleast be able to play new upcoming games in the next 3 years. So far, i think it is a right decision, Starfield right here is a good example.
I was worried that my 2060 just wouldn't quite cut it, so thank you for this!
Do you have the same cpu as him though
if you dont have the best cpu just forget , its gonna be most of the time 30 to 40 fps .
@@cole9693 idk about him but my i7 10gen is more then enough 😤
@Marcossd2 i7 9700K, RTX 2060, 16GB 3200mhz CL20 ram, and I'm getting 40fps at high settings 1080p with FSR set to quality. Dips down into the mid 20s in firefights 😢
Laptop RTX 2060, 16GB RAM and an i7 8750-H. Fluctuating between 40 and 70fps on low and medium settings at 1080p. Dipped to 30fps in the very first firefight outside. Getting 70fps with the next firefight inside.
I have 2060, Ryzen 9 7950X and 64gb DDR5 Ram. I don't think i'm getting the same performance. 1080 is Ok most of the time, but 1440 feels bad. Might have to play around with settings a lil bit more.
Running a 2060 and i5 9400-f and getting a stable 30-40fps on medium settings at 1080p, and that’s without any performance enhancement mods. More than playable!
You say it like its a good thing.
Man...Sounds like you have been programmed to accept mediocrity.
F*ck this game and this company, They use FSR as an excuse for faulty optimization. Game doesn't even look good.
Definitely not
💀
30fps is horrendous for PC gaming
@@Fiddleshtick I have beeen playing with 38-45 fps with a mouse and I got used to it. Though it isn't pleasant
Wait, every other benchmark I see has 1080p running at 40fps on low. What happened here? What processor do you have?
same question.
Es por la cpu i9
one of the best cpu , i9 .
i9 12900K with an overclock
i have this graphic card and i get 30fps on ultra setting 1080p, render resolution scale and sharpening 100% plus FSR2
I cant run this game with an RTX 2060, I7990k and 16GB of ram loaded on a ssd at the lowest settings with FSR enabled. literally goes from 50-40fps constantly. its a miracle ur running this at high settings.
I hope my Asus G14 RTX 2060 laptop does 70% as good as this. We shall see soon :-)
i love how many of us are still using this little powerhouse. it’s still going strong!
@@bobevans2867 absolutely! It's a beast for sure! Bet I can still get 2 or 3 more years out of it :-)
don't think it will go well. the guy in the video has a i9 12th generation which is doing the heavy lifting. starfield is more cpu dependent than gpu.
@@prasunkumar1125 it has a strong cpu too. It's a Ryzen 9 4900 HS.
@@slargo83How many FPS did u get mate? I have I7 10th gen should I buy?
Awesome video. Some time stamps would be nice. Btw, why is 960p upscaled to 1440p more demanding than native 1080p?
Yeah, that's confusing me too. Doesn't seem right
scaling algorithm maybe?
Love you 2060
i got 10 fps @ 1440p in New Atlantis with rtx 2060 ... i ll reboot and check again !
Did you run this on a laptop?
how fps in ryzen 5600g + rtx 2060 in high?
Game works on RTX 4050. Playing on Medium Settings
What FPS baby?
what's unrealistic about this is that you used the i9 CPU with the 2060, I mean I don't think people who buy the 2060 would pay for an i9 CPU. The CPU apparently helps here just by looking at the usage.
bruh im getting 1080p 40fps with everything on low and dlss at 80% 💀 what am i doing wrong
I guess your cpu is bottleneck
Yet my 2070 super with my Ryzen 7 5800x can’t hold 32 fps, oh also, 32gbs ram and an ssd
my friend,can you help me?
ryzen 5 4600h
rtx 2060
ddr4 24 gb
how setting it for max performance?
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz is what I have, it's a laptop. I'm super clueless about computer stats. Would it be feasible?
30-40 fps on medium settings with FSR
Something doesn't seem right
I already saw many benchmarking videos
I'm so confused, I have my game at medium graphics and am barely getting 35 FPS with the same card?
maybe your cpu?
@@MasterOfZombies115 i7-9800k. It’s older, but shouldn’t be killing me this much
have you try to update your driver?
@@kingrifli3358 did that, but it’s still around 35 in the starting pirate fight. Are there any settings to turn off thst are super heavy on frames?
me too.
What is your CPU?, I have an i7 6700K overclocked to 4.6 GHZ and a GTX 1080 slightly overclocked, can I run the game on 1080p medium settings and get 60fps?
Looks like your GPU is more powrful but your CPU is less than the benchmark. So you might expect less frames with that CPU.
Looks like your GPU is more powrful but your CPU is less than the benchmark. So you might expect less frames with that CPU.
@@somber8233the GTX 1080 is 2% slower than an RTX 2060 in most games.
as we can see i9 12900k is taking all the load on its back for fps lol
you realize the limit is the GPU, right?. A nicer CPU might get you better lows but wont magically will give you extra frames if your GPU is already at full capacity.. that is not how it works.
@@Trikipum yea? try playing it with the i3 10100f and the same gpu and see the fps difrence. Bro Starfield is hevy cpu bound game.
is it possible for you to try it on 1440p with dlss ? please i need it
Well atleast it playable !! But Damn, when will i get a high-end PC for this, i'm waiting for Starfield almost 2 years !
I ended up pairing my 2060 Super 8gb with a 7800X3d as I couldnt upgrade everything at once, Guess I may not need to buy a new gpu as soon as I thought :)
noice
reminds me of cyberpunk combat
I have the i7 10700 any chance I'll get close to those frames on 1080
I don't think you'll doo too bad, a bit lower but well playable.
not bad
Anyone tell me GPU power using more than TGP is it ok?
Bro, i have a 2060 and my gpu is dying of heat (80ºC)
Try to replace thermal paste
That's normal, it's not near to being too hot
@@Val.ki. Normal?! With MSI Afterburner I’ve limited the temperature to 73ºC and still goes to 80ºC
@@alperca46 80 is fine for that gpu. The max temperature for thse gpus is 84. Try undervolting. Mine went from 82 to 76 , 30 watts less of power wasted and it performs the same or even better overtime.
@@Trikipum okkk, thanks brother
Will it run on ryz 5600x with 2060 ? :/
gotta run on high with 50-60%. That CPU is a beast and this game demands it.
I have amd ryzen 5 2600 and rtx 2060, I guess I can't play because my processor is weak.
I got the same setup, and get around 32-37fps in the city. Indoors it’s at like 42-58 fps. Dlss mod installed, and fsr at 68%

Not a good comparison this game tanks cpu and you have a great cpu. who would ever pair a 2060 with a i9 2900k??
test rx 5600 xt
People thinking the 2060 still good lol just look at the CPU, its not gonna run like that in your or my system i have a ryzen 5 5600x and Starfield is CPU heavy so far
Whats that got to do with the gpu being good or not? Bruh
@@TheBoostedDoge ...? The CPU is way better than most people with a 2060 have, so your performance will not be as good as this guys' unless you also have a 12900K or equivalent...what don't you get?
@@op8ztv "people thinking the 2060 still good lol" this implies it ain't
@@TheBoostedDogeyou must be new to PC gaming so let me explain, most people with a 2060 wont be running a i9 12th gen.. even people with a RTX 3080 are having problems rn with Starfield because the game is CPU bound which mens the GPU gets under used because the CPU is maxing out. The 60 FPS you seeing in this video isnt because of the 2060 its because of the i9 which makes this video useless. Unless you have a massive CPU on your system you wont have the same results. Get it now? My comment is a joke on the fact that people think GPU is the only thing that matters for FPS.
@@TheBoostedDogebesides the guy didnt even go to one of the major cities everyone is testing rn that have the worst FPS
