Both the wedge lock (M76) and drive lock (M89) have an internal anti-rotation mechanism in the form of a stainless steel pin, half of which is contained in the upper, and half of which is contained in the rail, located just above the hole that houses the gas tube.
The other handguard has anti rotation too with a stainless steel pin above the gas tube. It's the same handguard as the mega & zev wedgelock handguards.

But Mike had this look on his face while discussing what would happen to the majority of guns if they were ever shot full auto and suppressed or both lol. He says a lot of these so called Gucci guns would just choke and that the nfa is actually preventing the platform from excelling. Should we ever get our rights back, a sons, bcm, g, slew of others would be easier to convert. Just overall cool cats man and passionate about the 2a and my bcm, solgw guns have just flat out ran in classes. Nw Ohio we get every type of weather here. I’ve loaned out bcm and solgw to buds at classes after there premium build or Gucci gun failed while the not so great duty solgw, bcm, sionics and geissele ran. Plug for old bill I guess. If u shoot a lot, solgw is a good choice, if it’s just gonna sit in a safe, get a fancy queen and shoot it sometimes, then don’t lol. If sons offered a chrome lined hammer forged variant, I don’t think I’d buy anything else tbh. Springco springs, fcd safety, a5 buffer system, robust hand guard, gassed properly and warranty alone makes for a lifetime of shooting
SOLGW is one of the few companies that mills the m16 auto sear pocket in their lowers. They don't have the required third hole above the safety (and drilling that out is HIGHLY illegal), but the internal milling is already complete. Colt goes the other way and has a complete integral sear block machined in. Even BCM and DD are just low shelf and could not fit true auto sear parts without significant machining, whereas SOLGW can be converted with the right jig and a drill press. SOLGW cares about our rights.
