Run time say 22min and it says 4-5 hour charge. I can get the 1300sqft of my living room and kitchen clean twice in that time (going slow) I have the series 2, which had seemed to fix the leak problem, as it hasn't happened to me! LOVE THIS THING!!
I don't know why since i found your channel im obsessed with vacuums. I got a robot vaccum mop cos of your video. Now im looking to get something like this
I’m not a fan of the Hizero one little bit. I have the cross wave and love it, I’d definitely love to try that tineco one, I love the fact it’s cordless! 🤗
I have had overflow with my tineco …thank you for clearing that up for me. I have a bissel as well and I’d rather use my tineco any day. I also have 2 of their upright vacuums and 2 moosoo. I love the moosoo over tineco hero.
You do the most amazing reviews and so many tests! Thank you. Would be good to do some passes on a long walkway that had has cross-sections of tile with grout, hardwood, laminate, lineoluem, and that absolutely terrible stuff I have in my apartment that is vinyl flooring that looks like fake hardwood but has textured grooves all throughout out not just between the fake boards. Going to try the Tineco and hope it can save me from scrubbing the floors by hand.
Tineco has released the Ifloor 2, which is claimed to run for aprox. 20 minutes per charge. It does that, and does OK job cleaning tile floors, though it's somewhat uneven on scalloped engineered wood floors (lengthwise cleaning works best there). Self Cleaning mode is balky, refusing to engage after mopping until vac has been parked for awhile (battery level issue?). Easy to disassemble and clean. Definitely better than the usual spray & mop approach.
Thank you so much for your review on this product! I honestly appreciate it so much. I have been undecided on whether or not to get one, and now I am convinced. I'll use it more for regular cleaning than messes. 😊
Can you review it with picking up long human hair because it's such a common thing people need to clean up in their homes/office. For example, does it get caught in the roller where you have to practically cut it out after each use?
I got 1A little more than a week ago and have been using it quite heavily. Unless there was a design change or perhaps his model was defective I never had that overflow issue. My only complaint is that I wish the water tank and dirty water tank capacity was a little Bigger. I have been using a Hoover floor mate for the past several years and have always loved using it but one aide something that was cordless. I do a lot of my comparisons between the 2 and I agree that the Ifloor Is great for maintenance cleaning and makes the task a lot less annoying not having to switch plugs throughout the house however the only other complaint I have is that I wish there was a way to shut off the spitting brush roll so that the floor would drive faster. It takes about 3 times longer for the tile floors to dry with this then it does with the floor mate.
I have watched now, many of these videos and reviews and no-one seems to ever mention that these Elec. Mops battery is non-replaceable and wear out in about 2-4 years of normal use. Never seen anywhere online or not where an owner can buy a replacement battery for one of these things. This should be somewhere in the manufacturer docs. What do you do. Just toss it. Man is that so harmful to our over crowded landfills. Got to be a better solution than that? Except for that fact (as I own one) the review is very helpful.
That's exactly what I was thinking. Environmental problem!! We can't be the only ones that have complained about it. You'd think they'd have an answer for this problem.
@Don M Agree with your concern about battery failure rendering the entire product useless. However, I have found that some products with batteries that are supposedly not replaceable actually can be replaced with a bit of extra effort. Batteries are rarely unique to a specific product so IF they are accessible, it's possible to get the information needed to replace them. Can you access the battery chamber on the iFloor? Or did Tineco seal it in?
Wow, compared to Hizero, The Price Is Right!! Agree that the real world use-case is as a mop replacement. If I drop yogurt, grape juice or Spaghettios (does anyone eat those things anymore?), I'll clean it in seconds with a paper towel.
Good video. I bought a neato because of you and happy so far. Has some quirks like zone cleaning might be work always but I still like the automation! A big spill is not everyday cleaning so I am more interested in regular cleaning capabilities. A good compare on that with two leading product categories like crosswave style and steam mop, even a regular mo would be a good video. :)
I didn't have the problem you had with the dirty water falling out of the bottom of the unit when the tank was full. Of course, I usually empty it fairly quickly when I hear a pressure change. You forgot to mention how QUIET the iFloor is compared to the Bissell!!!
It picks up light debris fine (dog hair, dust, small dirt particles) but won't pick up anything larger than maybe a dime. I picked up a few stray small leaves and a couple straw wrappers, anything larger than that it refused. I found that my floro had to be nearly already perfect before it actually did it's job well enough as general maintenance, and not for actual cleaning.
How does it pick up long human hair? If so, does hair get wrapped around the brush? What is the best mop/vacuum for long human hair that you've found? Thanks for your response!
Had this vacuum for a while i agree i dont like the clean up part but i just found out you could use the base to kinda rinse it? Thank you for that information.
I wonder if you could include cleaning of matt black floor tiles in your reviews. It would be interesting to see if any units leave smears. I have to manually mop my matt black tiles at the moment and after they have dried, I then get on my hands and knees and manually use glass polish to remove the smears. Nightmare! Thanks for these fantastic reviews, the only thing holding me back from purchasing is the price. Clearly I am not sick enough of all the added labour, but time will tell.
I bought this, mainly because it’s a cheaper alternative to the CrossWave - I just don’t feel like it gets wet enough I run out of battery before I can even use an entire clean water tank and all I do is hold down the water spray button.. is this normal??
@@joshp9964 The floormates are great until a couple months in, when they rust and die. Numerous sources indicate this is a known issue, and a direct reason to go elsewhere.
I like the tineco ifloor3 but the price is better for tineco ifloor , if the cleaning is almost the same for both , idc about the display. Can anyone share their experiences and help me decide?
Has anyone used the Tineco as a rug carpet cleaner? Can you put anything else in it other than the cleaner that came with it like vinegar and some dish soap for a carpet clean?
CAN YOU SUGGEST a big spill machine? I over-flill my plants in a tiled room. That water is dirty because it came from the bottom of the plant pots. Then some of it will dry leaving a filthy mess while it pools in other areas that is way more than one cup.
They need to make these types with a removable or replaceable battery. They die after two years. Could easy be solved with a battery replacement solution.
Great review! Did you prefer this product or the shark vacmop instead? I wanted a new mop for my hardwood floors. I don't like my Swiffer wet jet anymore. I used my Mom's Ocedar mop and didn't love that either for my real hardwood floors. Thank you for your thoughts! Our first floor is all hardwood and upstairs in bathrooms we have tile. 😄
I'd love to see more on these electric mops. I have the corded bissel and I am not impressed because it leaves too many streaks on my hardwood floors. Can you find a way to show the streaks left behind by the tineco?
I love this tineco ifloor 2 and thinking about buying another on version one S3 for a longer battery life (note : ifloor2 battery life is about 22 mins)
According to numerous reviews, the Floormate is a rusting pile of non-suctioning garbage - as in the motors fail often and catastrophically, usually by rust, and within a few months.
I was excited to try this too because of this video. I sent it back because it was junk! The performance couldn't justify the triple digit price tag. It's a glorified dry vac that can spritz water and doesn't have enough capability to actually scrub. It's a light duty maintenance mop only. Still appreciate your recommendations but I disagree on this one. Still love my Shark Apex with Zero-M, NO tangles at all, and this coming from a Shark Rocket where I would have to clean both rollers after every use. This iFloor is hot trash for the price though, I wouldn't pay more than $75 for it, and it's current sale price is twice that.
I need a reasonable priced vacuum for hard floor, one that wont get pet hair all tangled up in it. I am so confused because there are so many of them and some of them are so expensive.
Have you found a vacuum that you like yet? I too have a pet hair problem in my house and it’s so confusing which vacuum will give you a bang for your buck
what about cat litter. Would it pick up the cat litter on vinyl flooring while also mopping? You should not only pick up wet things but try doing also dry things. like cat litter.
Any comments on the floor surface stickiness with transparent/translucent residue? It would be great in your future tests if you could test the brush durability after multiple uses like in real-world use. I would use a device like this clean up after dinner 3-4 times, but then does the brush get dirty and sticky, or does the brush hold on to spills and transfers it back on the floor like a real mop after multiple uses.
