I work at a Jeep Dealer in Kenosha, Wi and factory ordered a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Willys Extreme recon in Earl and my wheels have the 24-25 bolt pattern not the 10 bolt
Ordered an Earl Gray Willys with the XR package and Sky One Touch for my wife back in September, it’s been built and just sitting since before Thanksgiving, hopefully she got the 24 bolt rings, but either way, she will be extremely happy!
I'm just starting warranty arbitration with my Reign 2023 JL, because FCA is refusing to repair is with only 150 miles and 6 days of ownership. The Motor Generator Unit (MGU) died and they are claiming I removed the cable from the fuse panel to the MGU when I installed my winch, but my winch connected straight to the battery and I would have had no cause to touch anything in the fuse panel, let alone remove a cable. Repair estimate is over $7000 now, not including the rental I've had for 2 weeks now, and I just submitted for the 3rd party arbitration last night. I hope it goes my way, because I miss my Jeep.
My XR came with 24 bolts. But a 392 XR that just came in had the hideous 10 bolts. It’s super sad to see one of the latest (last) 392 XRs come this way.
So, I just got my 2023 rubicon xtreme recon, it did come with only 10 bolts. I spoke with my dealership prior to it coming in because of this video and wanted to express to them that the Jeep website (until a day or two ago) still showed the 25 bolt rings. They are getting 5 rings for me at no cost to be put on, just waiting for them to arrive. Thank you so much for pointing this out!!!
Matt from what I was hearing the Jeep Beach 20A was different from the Beach and High Tide and can only be ordered in the SE region. My wife has the High Tide and I am looking because my Gladiator lease is up in March. I like the Beach 20A with the leather seats and color matched fenders. Punk’n would look awesome in that package.
My wife was fortunate enough to take delivery of a Reign 2 door Willys to match my Willys Unlimited XR. My question is how can I find out how many Reigns were made. Our local dealer only ordered one, which is the one we own.
My 4xe I took delivery on back in July is in the recall. No issues so far, but I read that dealers will start doing the software updates in mid January 2023. Also those XR trim rings are hideous.
Hi Matt! My husband & I love watching your videos. Thank you for all of the information you put out! We really appreciate it. Back in August I traded in my 21 Gladiator High Altitude Overland. We built a 2023 Wrangler Rubicon XR package in Earl Grey! I hadn’t seen one in this color in person before and I was just hoping that I would like it lol. In my opinion Jeep did itself a disservice by not having a good photo of it on its ordering site. While waiting on it we were purchasing new mods for it; bumpers, wheels, tires, fender flares, inner fender liners, floor mats and 😂small items; many of which you showed on your program. We already had a winch and recovery gear from the Gladiator. I received my new Jeep on 11/07 😊. I have to say I love the Earl Grey color! It’s a chameleon like color. It’s different in the sun/shade, day/night. I get so many compliments on it! I also have the dark saddle leather with the dark gray dash instead of the typical red dash. I want to say thank you Matt for talking about the Earl Grey in this video, I appreciate it! Not many, if anyone talk about the Earl. I know it’s a popular color. Thanks for the updates! I actually ordered a 392 XR from Susquehanna when you were still there back in July, still not in production stage yet. Are those new wheels the standard now or is it hit or miss? I think you said they still have the 24 slots underneath, are the replacement beadlocks still available to buy and replace the new 10 spoke ones?
Ordered a wrangler with XR pkg early October. Just got it last week. It had the 24 bolt rings on the wheels. I’d have been disappointed if it came with the 10 bolt.
Yesterday I ordered a new Willys Unlimited 4-door Extreme Recon with the 2.0 engine in Sting Gray. I ordered the 2.0 based on your videos. Should get it in 8 weeks or so. It is too bad about the ring controversy.
I picked mine up Saturday an it has the new bolt pattern. Really just glad to have it finally. I do have a question for you did yours seem to feel a little loose at highway speeds. Or is it just me needing to get use to a jeep.
Thanks checked the air pressure an the dealer ship had 41lbs of air in the tire dropped it to 37 an that helped out a lot . An i figured i was just needing to get use to it.
Well, looks like I got lucky, then. Placed my custom order for a 2023 Rubicon in early July as soon as they showed up in the system. I took delivery of my 2023 Rubicon on Oct 10th, '22, with the Rubicon extreme package and got the "nice" wheels. The only thing I couldn't order or was restricted from at the time was the Corning Gorilla glass windshield option.
Thanks for the important updates. Still not having the XR 392 option is rather perplexing. Especially given a solid number of late 21 and 22 392’s order by customers were with the XR due to popularity. Any new insights on which colors half doors are available with? Still the same colors or have some been removed and/or added? Congratulations on 10K.

I had a wrangler Eagle mod in 1974 with a small block V8 305 (as I remember) 3 sp manual tranny and straight leg pipes. It screamed and had all kinds of low end power but no lockers for some reason an$ I couldn’t afford to add them . Pushed a lot of snow in the 1976 snow storms with a Meyers plow. Traded off for a truck. Bought another unlimited Rubicon in 2013 with an underpowered V6 , traded it off for a truck in 2017, and now wait for the jeep straight 6 , 3.0 L twin turbo Gladiator to fill the obvious lust for jeep and truck. I can’t imagine why any average person who works for a living, would buy jeep before the Straight 6 comes out. Fools are all over the place and kids with mommy money are as common, so they buy these cars because they don’t pay for food and living expenses that mommy covers for them. 🍼
Haha ooooh nooo. ID be supper annoyed if it comes in with 10 😂. But if you say all the holes are still there then maybe aftermarket I can find rings. I stopped checking my order I’ll check next month to see if TBD changes to expected delivery date. Definitely excited, thank you for all your videos and Lindsey’s contact.

Yes these are the standard now, you could replace them with the 24 bolt rings as the threads are under the new rings !

Jeep is always behind on their website. You can call any dealer that factory orders and they will tell you it’s available.

Old news, but the reason you can't find the extreme recon on the 392 is because it's now standard. Thats a win for us.
