As a Literature/Philosophy major, I feel your pain. Not only do I love this insofar as it shows you sticking to something you said in your "Existentialism and Identity in The Owl House" ("Mistakes aren’t a reflection of our self-worth - they are merely choices that didn’t pan out as intended") but I think it's great in that it shows such great growth as a writer. Critical awareness, provided it doesn't become self-destructive is an undervalued skill in writing. Well done. That said, yeah, it didn't have the crisp focus of your other work, but you still have a way of presenting things that makes you lean in. That's not something that you can easily teach someone, it comes from a place of comfort and depth of understanding of the subject matter and it helps give what you're discussing resonance and makes others interested. I'm not just flattering when I say I get a genuine feeling of disappointment when I realize you're wrapping things up. I want to hear more! Nice job as always.
Side note, you have an "NPR" cadence when you talk that really works.
