I actually think that Radiant Historia could be considered the best RPG on the DS. I feel like that game has one of the most unique RPG storylines I've ever seen with the emphasis on time travel to change history in order to get the "true" ending.
Mario Party DS is the only one that didn't have another game from the franchise in the video. (I assume 3D Mario and 2D Mario are still considered the same franchise with this logic...though all are technically the same franchise.)

coppertrial OBJECTION! You can't have Mr.Write as an honorable mention, because every single person that owned a DS Lite at my school had owned an played every single game in the series. They made a movie based off of the game and there is even talk of an anime being produced due to Mr.Writes popularity. It would be a grave injustice to have Mr.Write sitting as nothing more than an honorable mention on the list of top 10 DS games of all time.
I hope they have a remaster of heart gold and soul silver for 3ds. I know it sounds unnecessary because those are already remakes but I personally think those were the best games in the series. :)
Titancoast Eh? Black and white 2 were actually amazing! Have you ever actually played it because it not I can't blame you for not liking it because its a bit cliche at first but it's amazing if you buy it. The sense of exploration and story were much better then D/P,HG/SS,X/Y,OR/AS. Missed out on B/W and before because never played any of them.
No I didn't think it wAs bad it's just that black and white two were amazing with the gyms and the pwt and the music but the first black and white actually felt like a brand new start in a new place
Trauma Center: Under the Knife is my absolute favourite. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team and Explorers of Darkness/Time/Sky were also seriously good.
Its not like Skyward Sword was alot better, i think those 2 were pretty bad actually. Hoping for some serious new Zelda games, the 3DS games have been great however. That was encouraging since i hadnt played a good Zelda game since TP and PH.
I think Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team & Explorers of Darkness should have gotten an honorable mention. Besides Pokemon White/White 1/2 and a few other mario games, they were the main reason I actually played my ds back in the day.
I didn't really like white/black 1 or 2 :\ but come on, mystery dungeon is flipping awesome, I have 4 different versions of it... including explorers of time! ;3
Tristan Alexander Gen 5 had the best story and some badass pokemon like hydreigon, haxorus or beartic, and has the best villain (N) so don't say that because you sound like a genwunner (my fav. regions are 5 y 6)
I never actually played SoulSilver/HeartGold, so I can't compare 5th gen to them. I'm going to pick SoulSilver up later today to give that a try, it looks good! I also might give 6th gen a try (X), but is it good/worth it?
1) Advance Wars Dual Strike 2) New Super Mario Bros. 3) Mario Kart 4) Pokemon Black & White 5) Animal Crossing: Wild World 6) The World Ends With You 7) Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time 8) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 9) Trauma Center: Second Opinion 10) Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
+Yetaxa No, Sinnoh jumped to new boundaries but the basis of the story and half of the pokemon from this generation are irrelevent. Like Cherrim, Chatot, and more. Its a great pokemon game but Gen 2 honestly is the best in the entire series. And I LOVE first and third gen. Fourth was good, fifth gen was eh, sixth gen was great too.
+TheRogueGamer Problem with 5th gen is that they dumped so many Pokemon at once that it ruined the game. My favorite VIDEO GAME Is Pokemon Pearl. It was also like the first game I ever played.
I agree with you but also if i were to list top 10 games i can't really exclude these 3 mario games from the list. Maybe list shoud have consisted of top 20 games not top 10.
AHybrten no, Mario is considered one franchise. Mariokart, Mario Party and the RPGs along with the other spin-offs are just a small part of a huge franchise.
Professor Layton has grown to be my favorite game franchise. Interesting puzzles, engaging stories, and some of the most gorgeous soundtracks in gaming. A gentleman always acknowledges great games.
Personally, I prefer Spirit Tracks over Phantom Hourglass - it refined the mechanics, made improvements on the game-play, and had its own unique story and arsenal. Also, having Zelda as your sidekick, and the fact that you can control her is a nice change of pace from the typical "damsel in distress" formula. Also, I'd very much like to see Castlevania on the lust, rather than honorable mentions. Both Portrait of Ruin and Dawn of Sorrow had their flows (I feel that Order of Ecclesia was kinda inferior to them), but they were amazing games, with great gameplay, soundtrack, story and graphics. Seriously, stop saying "Mario" and "Pokémon" all the time!
I also preferred Spirit Tracks over Phantom Hourglass. It is actually a very underrated game. I really liked the story, I think it was more developed than PH, and also how the bond between Link and Zelda contributed to it. The score is brilliant, too. It was also an improvement of many of the PH limitations, issues, and concepts (like completing every single level of the Temple of the Ocean King every time you revisited, which was honestly annoying for me. Instead, they improved that concept in SP).
Great list! Mine is: 10. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Darkness/Time/Sky 9. Kirby Squeak Squad 8. Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga DS (technically a DS port but not the same as the console versions) 7. New Super Mario Bros 6. The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks 5. Pokemon Black and White 4. Mario Kart DS 3. Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver 2. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days 1. Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum (personally my favorite pokemon generation) I probably would have put one of the Mario and Luigi games on the list, but I haven't played them. Really need to.
5. Pokemon Black Version and White Version 4. Elite Beat Agents 3. Mario Kart DS 2. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars 1. Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors
Pretty solid list that includes 2 of my favorite DS games in the form of Mario Kart DS (which up until 8/8D was the best MK game in the franchise imho) and the oft overlooked Elite Beat Agents. My honorable mentions not in this video: Moon, StarFox Command, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Dragon Quest IV, Break Em All, Bust-A-Move DS, Trajectile, Mega Man ZX Advent, and Retro Game Challenge. I'd also include Star Wars Episode III's vehicle multiplayer that could be played solo with bots or with ppl who had the game and Namco Museum's Pac-Man Vs game, but those are just parts of the overall game.
I can't remember what I even commented because RUclips screwed up and somehow deleted my comment so I don't know what you're talking about. I think Persona 3/4 are pretty well rated, but not too overrated
Mine is: -Super Mario Bros. -Mario Party DS -Mario Kart DS -Sega Superstars Tennis -Super Princess Peach -Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games -Super Mario 64 DS -Mario & Luigi Bowser’s Inside Story -(when I was into Barbie) Barbie Groom & Glam Pups 😂 And - Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games
In my opinion, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 should have made the list. It had an amazing story, beautiful music, memorable characters, iconic graphics, and was overall better than the main series. I may be a bit biased because the Mystery Dungeon series are my favorite games of all time, but they're definitely worth checking out.
For content, story, what? Just saying it's better isn't really enough ;) I can agree that SoulSilver has more content than PMD2, but it was still a remake and I think the story didn't change much from the original. The champion's music was okay, but what other music was memorable? I personally can't think of any. Whereas as soon as you search Pokemon Mystery Dungeon in the search bar, some of the top things on the list are music. Sorry for the mini-rant, I just hate when people don't back up their opinions.
pokefire5 Those are genres. They are all of the same franchise: Mario. They are, however, part of sub-franchises. Those being Mario Kart, Mario and Luigi, and the New Super Mario Bros series.
***** I am pretty sure Explorers of Sky is one of the ''second'' games from the series. First Nintendo released PMD Red/Blue, and then Darkness/Time/Sky.
I thought Pokemon platinum was better. The story got a huge improvement from diamond and pearl. Cyrus went from that antagonist to someone who had gone bad shit crazy. Not to mention all of the pokemon from fourth gen and previous were available without trading, though some required getting really lucky with the safari as well as some requiring pokemon emerald. (at least to make it easier)
I absolutely love Animal Crossing and still to this day, play it during my free time. I'm looking for buildable games where there's no end, only progression, and customization.
Poekmon Heart Gold and Soul Silver are by far the best of Gen 4 and possibly the Pokemon franchise as a whole. For a guy who always loved Gen 2 HG and SS where the best I could ask for!
Gen II was my favorite as well. Those two games blew all gen IV's out of the water :P I've been disappointed that our pokemon cannot follow us in the newer games. Only a tease with that one pokemon you walk...inside a DAMN HOUSE...
MAZZ0Murder You do know that Heart Gold and Soul Silver are Gen 4 right? I mean yes they are Gen 2 remakes but they are still classed as Gen 4 not 2. That and Diamond, Pearl and Planetarium, are all great games Sinnoh is by far my favorite region,
That's hilarious. You lost you Mario, someone else found it and played it, then they dropped it, and apparently you found it (or someone else used the same name, but unlikely).
My favorite Nintendo DS games are:Star Wars III Revenge of the Sith,New Super Mario Bros,GTA Chinatown Wars,Naruto Council 3,Mega Man ZX and Sonic Rush.
+kimzee59 Yes! One of the few intense games that made me feel like I was fighting for my own survival. Trauma Center was good too, but I never completed it. It was too stressful.
+kimzee59 This game is so overrated ! Having to do the same story three times to get the good ending which is completely ridiculous and just a big plot hole ? The first time was very nice but seriously, the game isn't that good.
I really think Ghost Trick, Phoenix Wright, and Animal Crossing Wild World should have been in here over New Super Mario Bros, GTA: China Town Wars, and Zelda Phantom Hourglass. But Heart Gold and Soul Silver? Best game on the DS, and best Pokemon game to date. I honestly did not expect them to top the list though, EVERYONE gives it to Mario Kart DS.
Pokemon HGSS had so much more than the regular pokemon series. While I do agree that mario kart ds is amazing, it realy was pokemon that toped the list. Also, new Super Mario Bros had one of the best if not the best local multiplayer of all time. Also, you could catch the Hoeon legendaries! Have you unlocked the Wiggler level? Or ROB?
You were going back and forth with the games and confused me a bit :P But I assume those levels were the ones on New Super Mario Bros DS? I don't remember them if I played them. I never have cared for the New Super Mario Bros games that much, they are kinda easy and levels are not fun in my opinion. The multiplayer was fun, but it wasn't really enough to keep my interest personally. But, I could go on about HGSS. After not really loving Gen 4 or 5, playing Heart Gold and the recent X and Y has really made me get back into Pokemon.
Justice for All? Really? You pick the worst phoenix wright game to represent the series? Not to mention, it breaks your port rule. Ace Attorney Investigations or Apollo Justice would both be better. Anyway, I realize this is a populist lineup rather than something more critically selective, But Hotel Dusk, Radiant Historia, and Etrian Odyssey are pretty glaring omissions.
Here are my top 10 Nintendo DS games: 10.) Planet Puzzle League (2007, Nintendo) 9.) Dragon Ball Origins 2 (2010, Bandai) 8.) New Super Mario Bros. (2006, Nintendo) 7.) Dinosaur King (2008, Sega) 6.) The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (2009, Nintendo) 5.) Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary (2011, Sega) 4.) Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs (2010, Nintendo) 3.) Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (2005, Konami) 2.) Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 (2012, Nintendo) Honorable Mention(s): Pokémon Platinum (2009, Nintendo), Puyo Puyo 7 (2009, Sega), and Mario Party DS (2007, Nintendo) 1.) The World Ends With You (2008, Square Enix)
1 Game per franchise? 3 mario games. ............ I dont complain about the list as far as the games themselves go but come on guys. Stick to your own rules. If you say one per franchise then MAKE IT ONE PER FRANCHISE!
No mention of 999: 9 hours 9 doors 9 people? I mean, c'mon! That had twists and turns at every corner! Although it is a Visual Novel type puzzle game, it's still great! 3rd one is coming out this June! Can't wait! =D
Check it out, especially if you love reading. If you don't want to, I won't be offended lol. 999 isn't exactly for everyone, especially if you prefer action games. I believe a steam release will come soon and then the final part of the trilogy will come out on the 29th June.
I bought this game and boy! That game is friggin hard. After 3 hours of trying to get codes on the prologue for the brief cases I gave up playing that game. Then I decided to use a guide to help me out but then the regrets kicked in because it spoiles my experience. And since ever then, I never touched the game because I am too dumb to solve the prologue puzzle.
Ah, well, you'll be glad to know that the puzzles get a lot easier. I actually had an incredibly hard time too with the prologue puzzle. Honestly, don't feel bad about looking up a guide. I did so several times. But around halfway, I got the gist of how to do them. Just make sure you look EVERYWHERE. Like seriously, touch everything (lol). Did you spoil the story? Because I accidentally did for the first 2 games, and the plot twists still hit me hard.
Sasuke Uchiha OBJECTION! I present to you the sentence 'the miracle never happen', from the bad ending in justice for all. As it contains a spelling error, the game isn't perfect (as Franziska would like), and therefore, the franchise as a whole can't be perfect either. (Don't get me wrong, I love the Ace Attorney franchise, although I think justice for all is the worst pick they could have made from it.)
Sasuke Uchiha OBJECTION! I'm certain the Von Karma's, experts on the topic, would agree with this: Everything is part of perfection, so grammar is as well.
SoulSilver and HeartGold was a VERY good choice, because the game had insane amount of content in it, talk about getting your moneys worth
yea. to this day Its the best pokemon games even after 7 generations of pokemon. Platinum, and BW2 come close but there was so much to the original GS that just couldn't be forgotten... when they remade this they did it right.

One game per franchise? Why was there two Mario games?
*3
+Bulbasaur d'Lettuce Lost count after 2.
+SomeRandomZeldaFan Actually he put 3 Mario games, so also this list just sucks ?
+ButterdPopcornz Yeah but those are still Mario games so yeah they broke their own rule.
+Gahlok12 No, its like you would say Smash Bros would be a Amrio Game
Wait a minuet, Phoenix Wright and Castlevainia are honorable mentions? Are you kidding me?
Ikr? It is a great miscarriage of justice!
+Joncharmed93 I can almost hear you say "OBJECTION!"
coppertrial OBJECTION!
+Joncharmed93 Well Phoenix Wright games were really a port over from the GBA games from Japan with some added in stuff.
+Joncharmed93 AND Ghost Tricks! Ok it isnt that famous like the others but its a really good Game
I hope they have a remaster of heart gold and soul silver for 3ds. I know it sounds unnecessary because those are already remakes but I personally think those were the best games in the series. :)
.... They were good... Then came black and white 2
You mean Black And White not Black and White 2 or did you mean as in black and white 2 were the bad ones after HG&SS?
Titancoast Eh? Black and white 2 were actually amazing! Have you ever actually played it because it not I can't blame you for not liking it because its a bit cliche at first but it's amazing if you buy it. The sense of exploration and story were much better then D/P,HG/SS,X/Y,OR/AS. Missed out on B/W and before because never played any of them.
Henbush8 I have played BW2 and I thought it was pretty good but I was just asking Luke Mckenzie if he thought BW2 was bad.
No I didn't think it wAs bad it's just that black and white two were amazing with the gyms and the pwt and the music but the first black and white actually felt like a brand new start in a new place
I'm so glad, you guys at least mentioned
Ghost Trick. This is the most underrated DS Game of all time :(
Trauma Center: Under the Knife is my absolute favourite. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team and Explorers of Darkness/Time/Sky were also seriously good.
Phantom Hourglass better than Spirit Tracks?
AHAHAHAHAHA
FUCKIN HILARIOUS WATCHMOJO
*FUCKIN HILARIOUS*
+Exertuz PH is way better, i understand one is entitled to his opinion.
However this list is all together horrible lol
NO!!!!! NO!!!! NO!!!!!! Spirit Tacks is 100000000000000 times better!!!!!!!!!!!
Adam Bluebear I know. that was kinda the point of my comment...
lol i guess in your world opinions dont matter, i didnt even like ST, it had cool mechanics but was the poorest Zelda game in my opinion.
Its not like Skyward Sword was alot better, i think those 2 were pretty bad actually. Hoping for some serious new Zelda games, the 3DS games have been great however. That was encouraging since i hadnt played a good Zelda game since TP and PH.
i personally prefer platinum but you cant go wrong putting any pokemon game at number 1
100% agree. I would've liked to have seen nintendogs get a mention. No I'm not a girl
Then prove it!!!!!!
Hello lasagana
sAme!! thaT gAMe wAS dOpe!! ):
First game I had on my first 3ds 🙁
you are gonna dress like one in a few years
I'm kind of astounded that kirby super star ultra didn't make it here...
Canvas curse got a higher rank.
Arin :D You didn't die after all :D
NerdiesForeverx3 don't worry I'm still goin
My friend posted that she is a attack on titan NUT
NerdiesForeverx3 cool :)
I think Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team & Explorers of Darkness should have gotten an honorable mention. Besides Pokemon White/White 1/2 and a few other mario games, they were the main reason I actually played my ds back in the day.
Bro sorry but 5th gen sucked ass and im a diehard pokefan
I also might give 6th gen a try (X), but is it good/worth it?
playballplz you should also get into compeititve battles use. Showdown and sub to kingnappy and numdnexus for good videos on that shit
1) Advance Wars Dual Strike
2) New Super Mario Bros.
3) Mario Kart
4) Pokemon Black & White
5) Animal Crossing: Wild World
6) The World Ends With You
7) Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
8) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
9) Trauma Center: Second Opinion
10) Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
You're damn right Advance Wars is #1.
thank you for actually mentioning TWEWY.
w
***** i probably played AWDS for 500 hours throughout the past 10 years. DOR was good, it's prob top 15 material.
***** Yeah I like Days of Ruin the most, but then again this is Advance Wars so I'll take what I can get.
One of the best portables. I need to do some more videos on it.
Hell yes
Excuse me, "One game per franchise?" you mentioned THREE Mario games!
i know right
TangledHeart 3 different Mario franchises though.
The Sinnoh games still are the pinnacle of Pokemon. The Johto region remakes are higher because of Nostalgia.
I would say they are about equal. I played crystal first, so it would seem obvious, but to my surprise, the Sinnoh are games are just as equal.
I love paper jam
I now only reason everyone loved pokemon soulsilver and heartgold is cause Pokemon follow u around
This list ain't valid without Nintendogs :P
Old games have an unique type of quality.
Agree
yes sir, no doubt about Pokemon HG and SS, well deserve the number 1 spot.
I know Mario's been a part of many game genres, but having three games in the top 10? Really? It pushes out so many other great games from the system.
Totally agree also no sonic rush? that was fantastic
Not to mention they said one game per franchise. Last i checked Mario was one big franchise. The genre may be different but that doesn't matter.
I agree with you but also if i were to list top 10 games i can't really exclude these 3 mario games from the list. Maybe list shoud have consisted of top 20 games not top 10.
Blood Red Shooter
I believe you're wrong. Mario is a brand with multiple franchises.
The DS was my favorite handheld. It had so many games that I got lost in. Contra 4, New SMB, MK DS, the Sonic Rush games, Mega Man Advent ZX.
Yeah me too!
MovieGameTime and you didn't control the game only using the bottom screen
My personal favourites are
1) Megaman ZX (and it's sequel)
2) Trauma Center Under The Knife 2
3) Spectrobes (and it's sequel)
.i really very like all megaman zx series..megaman zx and megaman zx advent...nintendo ds ( desumme )....?! 😐🙄😏😮🤐😯😌😛😜🤤😒😓
Great list! Mine is:
10. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Darkness/Time/Sky
9. Kirby Squeak Squad
8. Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga DS (technically a DS port but not the same as the console versions)
7. New Super Mario Bros
6. The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
5. Pokemon Black and White
4. Mario Kart DS
3. Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver
2. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
1. Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum (personally my favorite pokemon generation)
I probably would have put one of the Mario and Luigi games on the list, but I haven't played them. Really need to.
Animal Crossing: Wild World?
How did Wild world not make your list.
But I agree with much of the list including Gen 2 of pokemon being the best.
I agree with you about Wild World. Sure it wasn't the best Animal Crossing game, but it definitely deserves to be in the top 10.
Wild world deserved to be on the top 3 at least.
5. Pokemon Black Version and White Version
4. Elite Beat Agents
3. Mario Kart DS
2. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
1. Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors
Mark J where is Ace Attorney?
Mark J I fucking Love Chinatown wars
If only I didn't trade it for Teenage zombies... (not worth it)
REALLY NEGAN??
Is Nine Hours, Nine persons, Nine doors compatible with the DSI
I agree
Where's Cory in The House
.
It's NOT an anime
are you people stupid
Get out.
My name is cory
Came back in 2022 man I miss my childhood
am i the only one who likes animal crossing? gosh
You are not! The animal crossing games are great! Tons of people play the one on the 3ds!
yeah, i do as well. IT should have been on the list and gta higher.
I liked HeartGold and SoulSilver :D
Gen 4 rocks!
Gen 3 is better
I like gen 5 best. More specifically, BW2.
Gen 6 is the best because it's the most updated.
Metas ruined everything.
Worst to best
Sinnoh
Unova
Hoenn
Johto
Kalos
Kanto
The World Ends With You... Such an amazing game. Thank you for putting it on the list.
Final Fantasy 3, Pokemon Platinum, and Dragon Quest 9 are great DS games as well!
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey is a really underrated game.
Much of Atlus' games are pretty underrated
Yvaldi Except Persona 3/4.
I can't remember what I even commented because RUclips screwed up and somehow deleted my comment so I don't know what you're talking about. I think Persona 3/4 are pretty well rated, but not too overrated
Yvaldi Well I'm not saying P3/4 is overrated, but not underrated.
Agreed
instead of breaking your own rule by listing Mario 3 times, 2 slots for the honorable mentions could have been in the actual list
But where is Cory in the House??
best comment by far
in the house, just not the house of N.
NO
Hotel Dusk: Room 215 anyone...?
ThelemicMagick
YEAH!
Hope they revive Cing :(
I want to get it!
+ThelemicMagick My thoughts exactly!
Apparently whoever made this never played 999, because it seems close to impossible for it not to make it to the list.
Mine is:
-Super Mario Bros.
-Mario Party DS
-Mario Kart DS
-Sega Superstars Tennis
-Super Princess Peach
-Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
-Super Mario 64 DS
-Mario & Luigi Bowser’s Inside Story
-(when I was into Barbie) Barbie Groom & Glam Pups 😂
And
- Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games
In my opinion, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 should have made the list. It had an amazing story, beautiful music, memorable characters, iconic graphics, and was overall better than the main series. I may be a bit biased because the Mystery Dungeon series are my favorite games of all time, but they're definitely worth checking out.
it was good, but Soulsilver was way better
For content, story, what? Just saying it's better isn't really enough ;) I can agree that SoulSilver has more content than PMD2, but it was still a remake and I think the story didn't change much from the original. The champion's music was okay, but what other music was memorable? I personally can't think of any. Whereas as soon as you search Pokemon Mystery Dungeon in the search bar, some of the top things on the list are music. Sorry for the mini-rant, I just hate when people don't back up their opinions.
When he mentioned that he would include remakes i knew heart gold/soul silver where gonna be there
"One game per franchise" yet there are three Mario games? Wtf
One is a RPG, one is a racing game and the other is a 2D plat former, each are very different.
pokefire5 Those are genres. They are all of the same franchise: Mario.
They are, however, part of sub-franchises. Those being Mario Kart, Mario and Luigi, and the New Super Mario Bros series.
Still it's Like putting 3 Lego games in a list and just say. Oh but they are not the same seris.
@@deadchannelagain7204 I think Mario just has so many types of games that they are just separated now. In their defense, how do you pick?
Yess... You featured Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story! Sadly, it's not number 1.
It seems some put Partners in Time over it. Others put Super Star Saga above all.
@@TMS-Oddbot super star saga is the best one imo. The story was and still is amazing. They are all good but now with the 3ds remaster it's far ahead.
Bowser's Inside Story is my favourite game ever made
I enjoyed Pokémon Mystery Dungeon - Explorers of Sky's story a lot.
I liked Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 more... who knew a Pokemon game could make someone cry :p
***** I am pretty sure Explorers of Sky is one of the ''second'' games from the series.
First Nintendo released PMD Red/Blue, and then Darkness/Time/Sky.
***** There's no official title that goes "Mystery Dungeon 2", which game are you talking about?
Same here. That was the best Mystery Dungeon ever then they made the unova one and thats when they started to suck....
Explorers of Time
No sm64ds. Not even honorable mentions
2mygreeneyes omg nostalgia train
Yeah my first ds game, good memories...
Ikr
ports aren't allowed.
@@akhilvvv1925 IT'S A REMAKE, NOT A PORT!!!
I have got this console, it's old but it's amazing.
Solatorobo Red the Hunter is an underrated masterpiece. Glad Pokemon HG/SS made it to the top though
999; 9 hours, 9 persons, 9 doors should've made the list. Same for Radiant Historia!
Seriously fucking suprised how Super Mario 64 DS was NOT in this list. I MEAN CMON SUPER MARIO 64 WITH MORE CHARACTERS!
They said no ports...
Krab Lindop oh...
You Spoke For Me!
Krab Lindop they also said one title per series. Yet two pokemon games in one slot...
***** and some pokemon are different. HG: gligar SS:skarmory
I absolutely love Animal Crossing and still to this day, play it during my free time. I'm looking for buildable games where there's no end, only progression, and customization.
Stardew valley, it's coming to Android on March 14 if you're interested
Ever heard of ✨minecraft✨
Poekmon Heart Gold and Soul Silver are by far the best of Gen 4 and possibly the Pokemon franchise as a whole.
For a guy who always loved Gen 2 HG and SS where the best I could ask for!
Platinum was my Favorite, But those are amazing games!
Gen II was my favorite as well. Those two games blew all gen IV's out of the water :P
I've been disappointed that our pokemon cannot follow us in the newer games. Only a tease with that one pokemon you walk...inside a DAMN HOUSE...
MAZZ0Murder Having pokemon follow you in X and Y would have be SO fucking awesome.
MAZZ0Murder You do know that Heart Gold and Soul Silver are Gen 4 right? I mean yes they are Gen 2 remakes but they are still classed as Gen 4 not 2.
That and Diamond, Pearl and Planetarium, are all great games Sinnoh is by far my favorite region,
Gen 4 was the best for me until Gen 6 came out mostly due to storyline (:
I lost my Mario partners in time and I found another on a sidewalk and I started it up and it had my same name but everything unlocked.
MMH Modern MH someone must have played it
That's hilarious. You lost you Mario, someone else found it and played it, then they dropped it, and apparently you found it (or someone else used the same name, but unlikely).
Thats some creepypasta shit right there
These games LITERALLY need a remaster for the Nintendo Switch.
They did for the world ends with you
Pokémon heartgold was the very first Pokémon game I ever played and it got me hooked on every single one
I wouldve preferred diamond/pearl/platinum over all the other ds pokemon games, but that's just me...
Many would agree with you bro
Where's Wild World?
The D'S was my favorite handheld. It had so many games that I got lost in.
My favorite Nintendo DS games are:Star Wars III Revenge of the Sith,New Super Mario Bros,GTA Chinatown Wars,Naruto Council 3,Mega Man ZX and Sonic Rush.
9 hours, 9 persons, 9 doors anyone?
+kimzee59 Yes! One of the few intense games that made me feel like I was fighting for my own survival. Trauma Center was good too, but I never completed it. It was too stressful.
HUZZAH!!
+kimzee59 This game is so overrated ! Having to do the same story three times to get the good ending which is completely ridiculous and just a big plot hole ? The first time was very nice but seriously, the game isn't that good.
that game gets very repetitive, as stated above
+kimzee59 The only other game other than 999 that needed a honorable mention would be Dragon ball Origins and Dementium!
Justice for all was good, but it was very lacking compared to the rest, and radiant historia was awesome
The Apollo justice was better cause it had more interactions and better investigation phase
Still wonder why nobody seems to like The Pokemon ranger games, or fossil fighters.
FoxLogic i loved Pokémon Ranger
Pkmn ranger
I love Fossil fighters especially the fossil fighters frontier game
Jaidenanimations revived the series
MARIO 64 DS!! DID EVERYBODY FORGET ABOUT THAT GAME!
Isn't that a port?
@@inceptsquad9516 Is a remake!!!
wow, no Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword? That was hands down the best ds game i've ever played.
I don't think Metroid Prime Hunters should be in the top ten, but it should have at least been an honorable mention for its multiplayer being good.
Here are my top 10 Nintendo DS games:
10.) Planet Puzzle League (2007, Nintendo)
9.) Dragon Ball Origins 2 (2010, Bandai)
8.) New Super Mario Bros. (2006, Nintendo)
7.) Dinosaur King (2008, Sega)
6.) The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (2009, Nintendo)
5.) Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary (2011, Sega)
4.) Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs (2010, Nintendo)
3.) Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (2005, Konami)
2.) Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 (2012, Nintendo)
Honorable Mention(s): Pokémon Platinum (2009, Nintendo), Puyo Puyo 7 (2009, Sega), and Mario Party DS (2007, Nintendo)
1.) The World Ends With You (2008, Square Enix)
1 Game per franchise?
3 mario games.
............
I dont complain about the list as far as the games themselves go but come on guys.
Stick to your own rules. If you say one per franchise then MAKE IT ONE PER FRANCHISE!
Seriously it turned into the top 10 mario games on ds lol..
Well there was an RPG game, a racing game, and a side scroller so maybe that's what they meant.
crackrawkz different genres doesnt make it a different franchise
Those were spinoffs that became their own franchise
TKnHappyNess They have the Mario name so all are still apart of the same franchise.
No mention of 999: 9 hours 9 doors 9 people? I mean, c'mon! That had twists and turns at every corner! Although it is a Visual Novel type puzzle game, it's still great! 3rd one is coming out this June! Can't wait! =D
+Zhangri Lah. well said.
this is more like a list of popular games pretty much
first time i heard of it...
OBJECTION!
Phoenix Wright franchise is perfect as a whole, you have to include the full franchise.
Sasuke Uchiha
OBJECTION!
Bob Zwetsloot
HOLD IT!
objection.mrdictionary.net/go.php?n=7930107
Sasuke Uchiha Overruled, as you didn't state any cause for objecting.
Bob Zwetsloot
It was to point out that grammar isn't part of perfection.
Sasuke Uchiha
OBJECTION! I'm certain the Von Karma's, experts on the topic, would agree with this: Everything is part of perfection, so grammar is as well.
when he said do you agree with our list and pheonix yelled objection i thought the video was gonna take a wacky turn and i got exited :(
