Torqeedo needs to come out with a taller arm on the top and a longer mounting bracket to get more leverage. I had the same problem but a sturdier mounting lever system upfront somewhat solved the problem. Would love to drop the motor an inch or 2 more to avoid cavitation, getting a little right now on the Pro 14 but that will make it harder to pull up. Will probably end up making my own. Cheers
I just brought my hobie 14 pa and newly delivered 1103 to the shop for installation. Im fixin to go give them some pointers. Thank you. Prolly get pulleys at Tractor Supply or any hardware store.
Yes another pulley can be added there however it will interfere with lifting the motor entirely out of the water. Unless the main line goes to the added pulley then directly to the pulley up front. Would have to try it.
I have also found using a single harken pulley on the bottom creates less length of rope pull to get the motor up but doesn't add much difficulty to the pull

Perhaps you can replace that middle loop on the bottom with another roller swirvl, it seems to have a lot of friction from the sound it's making.

Why can't we see the whole system?
Can't give away all the secrets!
On the pa 380 Did you cut the accessory plate to fit the control pedals or were foot pedals away from them?
Only for tall people.
Can you provide a link for those pulleys? It's a great idea
Check out my post here! Link is at the bottom. www.theplastichull.net/2020/05/torqeedo-ultralight-1103ac-lifting-pulley-system/

@@MattTrux-YakChum so to clarify.. one harken pulley on the bottom still helps with ease of lift but uses less rope?
@@wardaddy6983 yeah a single on the bottom will be less of a pull but still pretty easy to stow.
@@wardaddy6983 I should do an update video.
Any idea of top speed and range with the 1103 on the pa 12? I want to add one to my pa 12 360 soon.
Top speed about 6.2 mph. Not sure on range
How did you run your rudder line? Did you install the foot control?
Yes full foot controls using seealect designs trucorse foot braces
You going too fast Matt, I cant see how you connected the pullys?
It's a two fold purchase the diagram is on my website. www.theplastichull.net/2020/05/torqeedo-ultralight-1103ac-lifting-pulley-system/
