I had two sessions of RF microneedling (bipolar) before - I really liked the 1st session's results (at a depth of 1 mm) and my skin looked tighter and plumper but after the 2nd session (at a depth of 3 mm), I definitely lost facial fat over the following few months. I thought I was being safe since it was done by a Dermatologist, apparently not. I was super unhappy about the results but thankfully my face is now looking so much better after a fractional CO2 laser, a couple of Sunekos sessions under my eyes and a couple of PCL injections (and consistent tretinoin use). I definitely would not do RF microneedling ever again.
I think Sofwave isn't that impressive to me. I'm sure it'll give some type of result like everything can but I don't see it as anything special. I'd go with Lutronic Genius but tbh the operator is more important than the device. Unfortunately, it's hard to find someone who knows to not go full depth and carfully choose how deep the needles should penetrate etc.
I have lost facial volume due to Fotona 4d. I had done it for for collagen production as suggested by the doctor and my face looks shrunken. Really feel so disappointed ☹️. People in besuty industry need to do their jobs correctly. Their sole responsibility is making people beautiful and they are destroying people's already stunning faces.
Couldn’t agree more . They are ruining peoples faces and then have to get reconstructive surgery to fix the problems . It’s a cycle now . The damage that plastic surgeons see from these devices is on the rise
Yup, this is my frustration with the industry - people talking like as if they are an expert when in fact they don't have a clue. I see it at conferences and courses all the time. I set this channel up to allow them to realise how much they don't know.
Agreed. It’s not the device. It’s the person doing the treatment. Some of those photos look like normal post procedure swelling, others look like bad treatments were done by the operator, and some look like the patient had sun exposure prior to or too soon after treatment. Ask your provider how many treatments they have done and if they have been doing many, they should have their own before and after photos of other clients treated. There is always risk with every treatment and depends on the clients skin, how healthy they are, if they follow post care instructions, and type of products they are using and sun exposure. Some of those photos look like the person did a workout too soon after treatment.
I had thermage the OG laser and I am 43 I have pictures from when I was 37 my neck when I turned looked creepy and wrinkly. Now it is taunt and I cannot pull my skin from my neck. I loved the results. Yet is so painful I cried
😮 ~ I can't imagine going in to have / pay a dermatological professional help improve my skin (face!) - and - then have this (photos you've shown) be the result ... 😳!!!
Morpheus 8 will destroy your face! It ruined my face and I have trauma. I have been dealing with the loss of my face for a 1.5 years with no recourse. I can’t even sue them.
I did too. Some of those marks are right after the procedure. It is a medical procedure. But these symptoms do go away in a week or so. I thought it was great and made a big difference.
I've also had fabulous results, but I am very fit, I did it for loose skin from having babies. 3 kids. I had 3 sessions literally just walked out of my last. Do make sure you do your research and go to a reputable place that knows what they are doing.
It's pretty difficult to find unfortunately. Look for Professional Dietetics - it's an Italian company. You can email them to get some more info if needed. Their contact details are on the website 🙂
I spent $7000 on Morpheus, it completely melted my facial fat, it was gradual, they kept suggesting more treatments as results were not apparent. This was at a dermatologist office with rn’s providing the Morpheus treatments. What he is saying is true, stay away from this treatment. I had to get filler at my own expense after to help fill in my hollow sunken cheeks. Just awful
@@Dr_Abs I had genius and it ruined my face. It took my fat and my face droops now. They did it 3 times for treatment of acne scaring. I also got left with track marks. Look at the realself reviews.
The same. At first my fsace looked great, tight, younger. A month later I noticed I looked thinner, gaunt. I halready don't have much fat on my face, so I wasn't a good candidate for this. The practitioners also shouldn't have used so much heat, depth, but they did!
Thank you! I was about to book for multiple sessions. I won't now. Thanks for the save.
save a lot of $$$

And not to mention, people that are not trained and have the proper medical license are performing these services.
I agree; I think this is a problem in more than just devices unfortunately
Thank you for this video. I’m going to cancel my Morpheus appt . I’m afraid to cook my fat like a steak. What do you think about softwave?

@@Dr_Abs it’s true ! Before and afters look minimally different. You just saved me 1500 dollars I was considering wasting on softwave! Thank you.😊
What should I do for the firmness and tightness my concern is the lower part of my face
Impossible to say without seeing you, sorry

Most doctors haven't got a clue about collagen and it's related topics unfortunately.

@@Dr_Abs yes if you see my face. Now I have distorted face due to uneven fat loss. I never wanted fat loss. There was no collagen production.

I have to say that I am happy with my results. I’m 52 and now more than ever I have people saying I look like I’m in my 30’s. I guess I was lucky.

@Dr_Abs I would love to know: What are your thoughts on Tixel?
Hmm, I'd suggest things like Sciton and Lutronic make better devices
Thank you for your response ❤

Where was that...I'm doing 1 section for 800$ in nyc
I DEFINITELY would go to see this man.
I would love to hear anything you DO recommend for folks in US and at home devices. I know you recommend microneedling!
Lutronic and Cynosure recently merged. Thoughts on Potenza by Cynosure?
Id still prefer Genius by Lutronic. Real-time impedance volatility is crucial for optimal energy delivery.

I have my first appointment of Sylfirm X in London booked for a few weeks time to treat lower face sagging and now I’m not sure what to do 😣
Are you good to take 2nd session? How about Morphus8?
Don’t do it
What about HIFU?

We need some honest opinion liek this rather than the noisy marketing
Why are you in the dark????
It’s horrible.
