This video made me very emotional 😢 This video brought my memories back. I love Jacksonville, ❤ I love Florida ❤ I am from Afghanistan and I have visited Jacksonville Florida three times. In 2010, 2011, and 2012. For medical treatments. I am still in contact with those wonderful, amazing, beautiful, nice and kindhearted friends families. Thank you so much for making this video. ❤❤❤
Jacksonville definitely needs a NBA TEAM ! im relocating upcoming spring bringing my 30FT RV GOURMET MOBILE BISTRO food truck.......DIS VIDEO MADE ME MORE EXCITED 😊 ❤
Great video! Very informative, I love it. It's just hurt's me that you didn't mention the Alton Avenue. It might look an average neighborhood, but this place is AMAZING. The people here are so kind. But the best place there is definitely is a trailer at 8805. Back in a day, there was living a man called Nicolas John Stabire the III. He was hosting a podcast called Oddkast which unintentionally popularized Jacksonville all around the world. He later moved to Denton (a city in Texas), but the people there decided to honor him by placing his favorite bar right next to his former home, Hoptinger, where you can try many recipes that Nick invented on his podcast (my favorite being Oddkast burger and Oddkast chocolate). There were playing Hotel California by Eagles (Nick's favorite song), such a wonderful place! I had such a great time there! I'm shocked, like, how the hell this place is so unknown, even to people from Jacksonville! If you are going to visit Jacksonville, visiting 8805 Alton Avenue is a MUST!
Thanks for watching! You're right - the weather in Jacksonville tends to be a bit cooler than Miami, especially in the winter. While Miami stays warm year-round, Jacksonville gets cooler winters with temperatures sometimes dipping into the 40s°F, compared to Miami’s 60s°F. Summers in both cities are hot and humid, but Jacksonville can feel a little more temperate. Hope that helps!
I really recommend using the services of A1 catering. It's a local catering firm, my buddy from Jax told me to try their services. I've been eating there for my entire stay (1 week) and I sincerely recommend anyone their services. It's simple (AJ, one of the employee's, guided me through the entire ordering process, he is a very nice guy), affordable (says a tourist from a middle European country), and delicious (and this is an understatement). I must say it again, I really recommend their food from the bottom of my heart.
lovely hosting!

Hi! Thank you for this informative video! What is the weather there comparing to Miami for example? Has to be lower temperature?
